Location,Location, Location. ...Shuttle bus almost every 5-10min straight to Downtown...takes about 10-15min....3$ per person....leave the car at Super 8 with free parking...warm room...clean...no judgement for incl. breakfast...i didn't use it...
First: If I am in New York, (!!) i dont really care about the room.. since i don't intend to stay in my room all day long!! Who would? Yet, that being said, i observed the following: scruff marks on the wall, noisy heater (December, anyways. .. i cranked up the the heat a little before going to bed, after 12hours of walking, so...i didnt care. ...do the math), rather noisy environment since its directly located at a Motorway...again...12 hours if walking. ..lie down..fall asleep. Overall...I'd come back! Good value for money!
The shuttle, value for the money, the staff.
Poor Wi-Fi, Breakfast location is too small èèè
Staff is terrible!!!
Transportation direct in to Times Square and back. Easy and cheap
Cold breakfast room
The location is great if you are travelling by car, but want to visit Manhattan without a car. Free parking and shuttles that drive by every five minutes or so bring you to Manhattan in fifteen minutes (don't wait at the hotel, just walk up the hill to the crossing where many more busses come by).
Don't expect to be able to open a window, it is very noisy so close to the highway. But then again, with the window shut everything's fine. Breakfast is very, very limited. This is below your average motel.
The room itself was quite spacious the bathroom had a decent shower .A safe.TV .and wi fi
was put in a none smoking room when i booked a smoking room. Was going to move us to another room but would have to have a make up bed, when i payed for a double, the one girl was quite rude and really didnt care. was told that the bus picked and dropped you off outside the hotel, it picks you up but the drop off is about a 10 min walk and not a very nice one as its dark with no street lights.
Loved the fact that a shuttle was so available to take me to and from New York City. Also the free breakfast was an added bonus.
The walk from the shuttle drop off to the hotel was a little uncomfortable along the freeway. Although there was a sidewalk it was a little scary walking that distance at night.
Needs improvements on Breakfast !! Small, tight, crowded, hot room doesn't really do the trick. They also would need some fruits (apple and banana would help) !
Breakfast room is terrible and breakfast lacks fruits.
The staff is really nice. The busis is very often.
The facility is very old,it's don't have a renovation probably for more then 30 years.
near to Newyork city. Convenient to reach at timesquare.
little options in breakfast. No drinking water facility. Poor wifi connectivity.
Good and friendly service. Very good cleaning! Ok location
Breakfeast was to much suger and fat and to little fryuit and vegetables. To keep modern customers happy this should be improved. The woffelbaker was fun, though.
Value for money, comparing to the rate in Manhattan
Shuttle service to NY. closer to food outlets
I guess the price suits the hotel, can't expect more. For a one nighter its ok. Glad for the shuttle bus otherwise one is stranded.
The noise of the traffic, just doesn't stop together with the AC, it's like one is in Time square 24/7. The breakfast ( sugar dose) area could be a little bigger.
Breakfast it's cheap
The staff is very good. They were ready to give us all the information we needed. The hotel is about 20 minutes from Manhattan, if you take the bus that stops just in front of the hotel for the price of 3 dollars. you can take the bus to the hotel in Port Authority, gate 51. Then you ask the driver to let you know when in Super 8. The hotel is clean with wide confortable rooms. The breakfast is quite simple. I would stay there again. From the hotel you can go to Jersey Gardens Mall taking the 111 bus that passes near Super 8. This mall is excellent. It has very good prices.
1) The shuttle bus to NYC 2) The cost of the shuttle bus to NYC - $3.00 3) Very comfortable beds 4) Flat screen TV, microwave and fridge 5) Helpful staff
1) The shuttle bus drivers did not speak English and there didn't seem to be any pattern to the stops 2) There is no shuttle to the airport 3) Confusing location - even our cab driver had trouble finding it 4) Breakfast area seemed to be bit of a mess 5) No access to printing boarding passes 6) Room was noisy and bathroom light didn't work
Bus ride to and from NYC was convenient and budget friendly, just $3 per person each way. The staff were courteous and the rooms were very clean.
Breakfast area is very small and overcrowded. We were however allowed to carry the food tray to our rooms.
has a shuttle that stops in front. makes it easy commute to nyc
parking. had a space.. but almost didn't..
Heard every toilet flush & shower running & no room between bed & bathroom.cleaning staff just entered our room without even knocking. No hot water in showers for at least 5 minutes & when someone came to look at the problem he could not speak English. Very disappointing stay..
I liked Everything about the Hotel.Very easy to locate,Away from the Crowded Mahanttan and Also gives the Traveler a different view from the High Rise of New York. For me I felt like home, going back from the days work on the Bus as it drives to the Hotel!Just SUPERB.
KEEPING INTOUCH WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING FOR A TRAVELER,THEREFORE IT SHOULD NEVER BE SECOND HANDED.IT COULD HAVE BEEN A 100percent RATING FOR ME,BUT THE STATE OF THE (wifi service)IS TERRIBLE AND KINDLY URGENT SOLUTION!Wifi service was very poor, actually not working to be HONEST AND LEAVES THE TRAVELER STRANDED.IF THIS ISSUE IS CORRECTED I WOULDNT MIND STAYING THIS HOTEL EVERYTIME I TRAVELS TO THE STATE NOT MINDING WHICH CITY AM STAYING hahaha!!!
shuttle bus clean room, comfortable bed adequate breakfast good Wi-Fi free parking easy to find from the interstate
Potential customers may need to know that the shuttle bus takes between 20 and 45 mins, depending on traffic, and costs $3 per person each way There is nothing to do in this area, it was just a convenient place to stay for NYC!
We booked the hotel because of its close location and because we didn't want to drive in NY. There were a free parking and WiFi which is rare in NY. A shuttle bus was passing regularly in front of the hotel and bringing people to the bus station in Manhattan for 3 $ per person. People at the reception were very kind. In general very convenient. Overall, it's OK for a stay of 3-4 nights.
The facilities in the room are basic. Very noisy and old AC that was blowing straight to the bed. The breakfast space is very small /in front of the reception/.
We liked the shuttle service that came to the hotel. We never had to wait for the shuttle to show up. It dropped us off near Port Authority and Times Square, and we were able to get an even nicer shuttle back from Port Authority to the hotel. Also, our room was clean and had every thing we needed to enjoy our stay.
The location of the entrance into the parking lot was right off our exit, so missed it and drove around for a 1/2 hour trying to figure out how to get back to the entrance. Even though we liked the fact there was a free breakfast, it closed down too early. We didn't get to enjoy it on our second morning.
