Super 8 Roseville  

Wanted to keep a copy of my driver's license on file, I objected. They said it was at the requset of Law enforcement. That is not legal. They can show list of guests to le on request, but to obtain a copy of Dl for le is acting as an agent of Law Enforcement - serious legal implications!

It was reasonably cheap. The coffee was good.

The room was dingy and rather dirty. There were stains on walls and the carpet. It was also very noisy. There was constant noise above and next to the room. This was by far the worst super 8 I have ever been in and I have stayed in quite a few.

The pool

There really wasnt anything to like.the staff was rude the hotel stunk like smoke we asked for non smoking rooms and they put us in smoking there were burn holes in the sheets and blankets the TVs were from the eighties and were in poor condition and we were givin a piece of paper by someone at the front desk with a previous patron personal info and name there were hookers droped off there there were children running around screaming at 3am I could go on and on

Loud all through the night. Beds were uncomfortable. Smelled like smoke

the only thing i can comment on is the pool room was extremly chilly, normally pool rooms are warm this one was not. couldnt swim for very long because of the temperture

The food at the breakfast was not very fresh

hotel over charged us by 65 dollars..Manager didnt seem to know much about how things worked at hotel..room was dirty and small..asked to be close to pool and they put us on 3rd floor far away from elevator..breakfest was nothing short of gross had better food at the village inn down the street..pool was way to hot and hot tube didnt seem to work well

The man who checked us in was very nice, called the room to make sure we were comfortable.

The hotel was very dirty, halls had not been vaccumed in sometime. Black mold in the shower stall, grout and in the corners of the shower. Beds, very old, saggy. Walls in room very scuffed up. Window in case of emergency led to an ourter portion of the hotel but it was blocked in by 4 walls....a ladder was provided to climb up onto another roof! Serioulsy!?!?!?!? No dead bolt or chain on door for safety. I would NOT stay here again!

The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. The mattress sagged. I don't think I got more than 30 minutes of sleep all night.

Location is good for a short trip. Right across the hotel you can find different places to eat.

The elevator had a horrible smell and the breakfast was limited to juice and waffles. The carpet in the room had a funny smell.

The vending machine was empty. Their was no hot water to take a shower. The pop machine would not take my money to get a bottle of water. Bed was very uncomfortable. No ramp at back entrance. Refrigerator in room did not work. Linen was dirty.

There was dried food on the walls, we only had 2 towels and there were 4 of us. They had no extra towels available for any one in the hotel. There were no towels in the pool area. People were complaining everywhere in the hotel. The parking area was a nightmare. Quite a few people ended up parking on the hotel lawn.

There was never enough towels in pool area. When we asked for towels for the roon, they never were any cleaned. The four times we asked, they said they drying. The pictures on the web look much better and newer than the place really is. I would recommend updating the hotel and mire pancake mix for continental breakfast.

The room was fine for our purposes but there was no coffee pot to make coffee in which was not a big deal since you could get coffee at breakfast. It was nice to be close to shopping and to some good restaurants. We had a good time and enjoyed our stay.

Beds were very uncomfortable. Might be a good time to consider an upgrade of beds. Will not stay there again. Spoke with a couple of other parties that stayed there as well. One said their room had blood spatter marks on the wall and on the sheets. The other said they had finger/toe nails in bed.

It was a very worn room. Cigarette burns on the sink and furniture.

Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. For the money I think itwas ok. Really appreciated the pool and hot tub. Bed was comfortable and clean.

They really messed up my billing and didn't break down my receipts like they said they would when I checked in. When I asked for it that way at checkout they said they could not give me a receipt for each night stayed as requested. I paid out of pocket for some nights and company paid for others. This has caused me a lot of problems. They messed up my credit card billing and I noticed a smell in the room and stains on carpet that looked like they had maybe tried to bleach something? Handles were off dressers and gouges in furniture not repaired. Looked run down. Garbage outside of facility and screen to window cut and lying in yard. Stuff that wouldn't take much to fix. The price and location to conference and bisiness meetings is what drew me there initially.

Conveniently located to State Fairgrounds and many restaurants and shopping facilities.

Room was not clean. A wipe on the walls with a wet washcloth came back black. Carpet was threadbare. Numerous patched holes in the walls. Had to beg for clean towels on second night. Common hallways were hot - seemed like there was no A/C. Lack of towels in pool/spa area. Staff was friendly and seemed to be making the best of a difficult situation. Mattresses were ancient and sagged. Threadbare blankets and sheets. Very uncomfortable beds. In room fridge was not adjustable temp-wise and did not cool our beverages past tepid.

It could use a total remodel job. Carpet needs replacing everywhere, lobby is dark, looks old - not welcoming. Bathroom needs total remodel - hole in shower wall..........hallways dirty and smokey. I didn't even want to walk barefoot on the carpet in the room............

The bed was horrible. Springs could be felt in the bed, it creaked every time I sat on it. The clothes hanger was missing a cover on the end of a pipe. My husband bent over to get the luggage stand and hit his forehead on the pipe. It drew blood. We would never go to this location again, nor recommend it to anyone.
