Super 8 San Francisco Airport West  

The facility was clean, the beds comfortable, the staff very helpful and friendly. I stayed because I needed to be close to the airport for an early flight but did not want to pay the high prices of an on-airport facility. The shuttle was punctual at 7AM and the driver courteous. This was an excellent value for the money in this city!

The option to get a shuttle to the airport was a bonus; good breakfast and easy to walk out to shopping mall for good cheap food.

Overnight to get to the airport the next morning. Staff was great & friendly; shuttle was efficient. I would certainly stay again!!! Thanks!

The location was a bit far from fishermans wharf. But that was the tradeoff for the price we paid at super 8

The hotel is modest but clean, the staff is friendly. Even the free breakfast is great. If you need a clean, decent place near the airport, this is one of the best choices. I would recommend it to anyone.

Convenient to airport, spotlessly clean, comfy beds, lots of pillows, ample free breakfast with waffles, bagels, fruit juices, cereal etc. Reliable shuttle every 15mins. It's free, but the friendly drivers certainly deserve the tip. Would stay here anytime again.

Spacy rooms (third floor), good facilities/breakfast.

The closeness to the Airport. We stayed in Berkeley California for 3 days while attending a conference. We wanted to be close to the airport for the flight out the next morning. The place was clean. It was not a new facility. Also, I found it to be about the best rated hotel in the town. Also....lots of tv channels! I would recommend!

The lighting in the room was a little dim. Perhaps it was the fluorescent lighting as opposed to incandescent.

We are from the uk and experienced travellers to America. We chose this hotel for the first three nights and the final night of a three week road trip holiday to the us after doing research and reading reviews about it on various web sites. It was important to us that it has a courtesy shuttle from the airport and is only a short walk to the cal Train station which gives an excellent, safe and cheap service into San Francisco. After three nights stay we then took the courtesy shuttle back to the airport to pick up the rental car, and after the final night's stay at the end of our trip it was an easy drive back to the airport from the hotel. The hotel itself is a gem of a find in a safe area and on a main road but not at all noisy. The breakfast was better than most, although not many tables available. All areas of the hotel are clean and the rooms are excellent, coming back after three weeks on the road was a pleasure. The staff were always very helpful and knowlegeable. If you want a one night stay convenient for the airport, or several nights to visit San Francisco I can highly recommend it.
