Location a little far but no real complaints.

The location is good for getting around San Francisco. Fortunately we had a room at the back to minimize traffic noise. For budget purposes it is probably a good value for downtown San Francisco but more than one would expect to pay at a Super 8.

This property has seen better days and really needs a complete makeover. "Breakfast" is provided in a postage stamp sized area and is extremely limited. Parking is very limited- less spaces than rooms

staff was very helpful. my husband is disabled and we were in san francisco for me to have a major surgery. they took very good care of him. also this hotel is less than 2 miles from cpmc hospital, very convenient, free parking is a plus

very tasteful interior, exterior and accommodating staff..very comfortable and well decorated..heating unit was quiet and very warm

Room was comfy, clean.

Internet connection terrible. Parking terrible - spaces too small for even compact cars. Hotel front desk staff, non caring, unprofessional and too busy caring for their young kids at the desk. Microwave not working since plug too far from outlet. Fridge knobs broken, all food and drinks frozen solid. Hotel staff did not care about any of the above. No elevators, all rooms with 2 beds on third floor not advised on website.

It was decent for decent price. The location is excellent and the neighrhood is amazing.

The motel was very near the Golden Gate Bridge and was easily accessible via public transport. Rooms were spacious and clean.

The service was abysmal and wifi was extremely unstable. Although free wifi was advertised outside, the frequent dropping off from the wifi network made trip planning almost impossible. Service staff mostly away from counter and thus unable to provide advice.

It was over priced for what you got. It was not relaxing..

Clean rooms, sheets and towels changed daily. Excellent location, safe and lively. On a good bus route to all major attractions, the 30 leaves from the round the corner to fishermans wharf, and Union Sq, 28 outside to Golden Gate Bridge, 43 from outside to Asbury/Haight and Golden Gate park. Excellent pubs nearby with happy hour, Campus on Chestnut 4-7. Lady in reception, does she work 24/7? very helpful arranges trips etc.

Perhaps a tad pricey for a motel, but no real complaints.

This is probably a refurbished motel from some years ago. The room at first seemed a little dark and is right on Lombard Street so quite a bit of street noise which as it turned out we didn't notice much at night. Comfortable king bed, clean room with fridg and microwave. Even breakfast in the morning in the tiny little office room While not perfect this hotel is about the location. One block from Chestnut Street in the Marina District with it's great restaurants, bars and amenities. A short walk to the San Francisco Marina and views of Golden Gate Bridge (especially at sunset!) An even shorter walk to the lovely Palace of Fine Arts and surrounding park (built during the Worlds Fair in 1915). A beautiful neighborhood with lovely old residences. Proxmity to public transportation.

Door didn't shut automatically so be sure you really close it!

Facilities in the room are good for this price!

The lady at upfront desk was rude and unfriendly while check in.

Molto comodo alla fermata dei bus di alcune linee principali. Ottima posizione, silenzioso, confortevole e pulito. Colazione "basic" ma sufficiente

Manca spazio per consumare la colazione (in piedi o appoggiati ad un davanzale) anche se c'e' la possibilita' di portarla in camera

The motel was quaint and had a definite period motif. I really liked the access to the transportation and the availability of restaurants around the motel.

The parking was limited, but I had a motorcycle, so for me it was not a problem. There were three places that a motorcycle could park that a car could not.

The staff was really nice. They were friendly and kept our luggage locked up after checkout for several hours while we toured the city. The room was an excellent value for the money, with a/c, a nice king bed, fridge, and microwave. We just got coffee in the morning.

We were on the 3rd floor and there is not an elevator, so it is difficult to haul luggage up the steps. My husband had to help an elder couple with their luggage. No porter there the day we checked in.

The motel was clean and tidy, rather quiet too.

Having travelled from the uk it is just a short (20minutes) drive from the airport with free parking.Has easy access via walking or bus route to the Fishermans Wharf.

Friendly staff, room was really clean and comfortable with a huge bed. Room size was also very good. Location excellent being in the lovely marina district and ideal location to the golden gate bridge. Great value for money.

Fridge made a quite a loud noise so we disconnected it, and room was facing the road so was a little noisy - but these weren't real problems. Would recommend this place, especially if you want to see another part of San Francisco that is not in the downtown area.

- Preis ganz ok für San Fran - an alle die sich immer über das Frühstück in amerikanischen Motels beschweren: DAS IST IN USA SO !!! und für ein Continental Breakfast war es sogar sehr gut. - Frühstücksraum gibts nicht - das ist normal und ok !! - super schnelles Internet (natürlich nicht morgens zwischen 07:00 und 09:00 wenn alle Gäste gleichzeitig youtube etc verwenden)

- teures Parken - wenn man keinen der wenigen Motel-eigenen Parkplätze erwischt - es dauert seeehr lange bis das Personal "auftaut" - kein Tisch, nur ein Desk auf dem gerademal so ein Notebook Platz hat
