In the middle of the night I was really thirsty and clerk in the front did not hesitate to accomadate me. Pillows were amazing and everything was fresh. There was room service...I was shocked at the quantity of food they delievered. Location was great and customer service was fantastic.
I am very picky so some might not be bothered but the toilet seat was old and cracking.. was not dirty just ugly. There was a huge wasp nest under the stairs but it was taken care of right away. Last but not least the stairs were a little futher from the room than I would have liked.
conveinent and price
It was close to the Cynthia Wood Pavilion . Close to a main street.
Not haveing crib after requesting days ago in our booking
So easy to get around the woodlands area.
Proximity to work
Very close to family we were visiting.
A little tough to find.
Breakfast was great
The maint... and cleaning lady were a wonderful staff. We will definitely stay there again! We loved it!
Room, non-smoking, smelled like smoke. Mold on wall in bathroom.
It was close to the intetstate.
I had bugs in my room several times. There was quite a bit of police activity. I was told it was a guest that wad arrested for identity theft and drugs. The drunks late night were a bit much
The morning breakfast was very nice.
We paid cash for our room on night of check in. At time of check out they also charged our credit card. It took 2 days to resolve the double charge.
It's very practical if you want to see a concert at the Cynthia Mitchell Pavilion. You'll still need a car/a friend with a car to get there though, because the taxi takes forever to arrive (we were told 30-40 mins but after about an hour it had not been even sent yet).Obviously if you want to see Houston or you have stuff to do in town I would not stay here because it's very far.
We asked the staff to replace our bedsheets because we found some hair in them. They promised they'd do it before we came back but they did not really do it. Also, we asked them to call a cab and they said it would take 30-40 mins to arrive but after an hour it had not been even sent. It was probably the cab company's fault but this means it is very hard to get around if you don't have a car.
very convenient for the concert at the Woodlands. Very comfortable bed.
The size of the room, the location, the free breakfast, the coffee pot, refrigerator and microwave in the room along with a hair dryer. I literally had every thing I needed.
No guide either on the television or in the room to let you know which networks were on which channels.
When we first arrived, the clerk was very helpful. We wanted a smoking room for my husband, but when we had to climb the stairs (outside) and I'm afraid of heights, we asked for a room on the first floor and she found us a very nice one. We really appreciated her being so helpful and not just dismissing our request.l
Stairs on the outside-I'm afraid of heights. No trash cans on the outside of the hotel to clean out the car, or at least we didn't see any.
The bed was comfortable, the room had a fridge and microwave, and a desk with leather chair. The breakfast was ok. The staff was very nice and helpful. It is very close to a shopping center (including a HEB), though it took us some time to figure out how to get there by walking.
The room was very old and even if the staff was cleaning it every day, we had to kill some insects in the bathroom. The bathroom was also smelling bad. The carpet was very old. There was not possibility of opening the window and we had to close the curtain during the day to not be seen by everybody on the parking lot (first floor). Clearly not the best Super8 we have been staying at (we have seen many).
They helped me get the correct room'
I ordered online from booking. Once at the hotel is was a single bed room and also smoking room.
It did not have: - a working table - an iron in the room - an iron board in the room
close to our Family
We were double charged, said we did not have reservations
They didn't change the sheets even after I left the card on the bed asking them to do so and the manager seemed unconcerned.
Good price for the area. Initially we thought it was clean enough for the price, even though the decor and carpeting was "tired." But then we began having big issues.
Roaches invaded as soon as we unpacked. It was disgusting! Switched rooms late at night to escape roaches, but toilet wouldn't flush properly and almost overflowed each time. We finally just stopped flushing it. There was mold in shower, and the bed was like sleeping on a rock. The breakfast was very poor. Notified employee with each new issue, but still charged us for room. We will never stay at that hotel again, nor any other super 8. It made me want to burn my luggage so we wouldn't bring home a family of roaches!
The housekeeper turned in a cell phone we forgot/left in the room.
They didn't have any more of the room type I requested so they upgraded me for free. There was a nice desk in my room.
If this was the upgraded room, it makes me wonder what it would have been otherwise. It was pretty basic. It was nice but there was no tub.
