Slanted floors so the head of bed was down and bathtub was cracking loudly every move. We were afraid we may end up on the first floor accidentally Door to outside did not seal
Staff was friendly
The back of the bathroom door and the wall behind the bathroom door were filthy.
Wi-fi didn't work at all in my room, and the staff was uncooperative and difficult. Smelled like smoke and chemicals. Breakfast was very poor
It was quiet. No slamming doors, kids running up and down the hall.
The TV selection is the worst. What hotel/motel doesn't have at least HBO. Super 8 doesn't. I wanted to check out early because of the television programming. GET CABLE
We went to a concert at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion (which is a great concert venue) and stayed at this hotel for two nights. It was very convenient to the venue and easily accessible from the interstate. Room was clean and bed was comfortable
No coffee in room. Maker was broken anyway as was the hairdryer. The shower broke while we were there. Thank God we were in the room or who knows how that would've went! However, the staff fixed the issue immediately
It was close to the Woodlands and other places we were visting.
I did not like the fact that they made copy of my drivers license and credit card. When I questioned them, they said it was required by law. I have stayed in alot of hotels over the years and I have never had my information copied before. They have enought information to open a new account in my name if it got into the wrong hands. I would like to know what happened to my information after I checked out.
Close to the concert
Location is only redeeming feature
The blood and other mystery bodily fluids on the blankets The mould in the bathroom The residents starting band practice at 1.30am The wifi that didn't work the entire stay The fact that when I raised these concerns with the staff they seemed neither surprised nor concerned. Strongly advise not to stay here, if the staff are not shocked or even willing to investigate such conditions I'm betting it's not the first time they've heard it.
The staff as very friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi worked great. The room was clean. The breakfast was clean good.
The pool was not available. Should have had the chairs out so somebody could set by the pool.
It was a very comfortable stay , close to everything we needed. Was very happy with the hole experience.
The title says it all. Carpet, restroom, and bed. Just had that dirty feeling. I would never stay here again
In the middle of the night I was really thirsty and clerk in the front did not hesitate to accomadate me. Pillows were amazing and everything was fresh. There was room service...I was shocked at the quantity of food they delievered. Location was great and customer service was fantastic.
I am very picky so some might not be bothered but the toilet seat was old and cracking.. was not dirty just ugly. There was a huge wasp nest under the stairs but it was taken care of right away. Last but not least the stairs were a little futher from the room than I would have liked.
conveinent and price
It was close to the Cynthia Wood Pavilion . Close to a main street.
Not haveing crib after requesting days ago in our booking
So easy to get around the woodlands area.
Proximity to work
Very close to family we were visiting.
A little tough to find.
Breakfast was great
The maint... and cleaning lady were a wonderful staff. We will definitely stay there again! We loved it!
Room, non-smoking, smelled like smoke. Mold on wall in bathroom.
It was close to the intetstate.
I had bugs in my room several times. There was quite a bit of police activity. I was told it was a guest that wad arrested for identity theft and drugs. The drunks late night were a bit much
The morning breakfast was very nice.
We paid cash for our room on night of check in. At time of check out they also charged our credit card. It took 2 days to resolve the double charge.
It's very practical if you want to see a concert at the Cynthia Mitchell Pavilion. You'll still need a car/a friend with a car to get there though, because the taxi takes forever to arrive (we were told 30-40 mins but after about an hour it had not been even sent yet).Obviously if you want to see Houston or you have stuff to do in town I would not stay here because it's very far.
We asked the staff to replace our bedsheets because we found some hair in them. They promised they'd do it before we came back but they did not really do it. Also, we asked them to call a cab and they said it would take 30-40 mins to arrive but after an hour it had not been even sent. It was probably the cab company's fault but this means it is very hard to get around if you don't have a car.
