Thé bed s ok clean and confortable
cramped quarter only one chair to sit on no in room telephone service elevator inspection outdated very small breakfast area
Very close to town centre Clean rooms and big toilette Relatively good wifi
Poor breakfast Off-puting reception The staff in the reception with a few exceptions were rather rude and not very helpful Very expensive for the quality of services provided but i must admit that all hotels in SanFran are generally very very expensive compared to what they offer
I'm the kind of person that likes a neighborhood with a lot of character, and this hotel is right on the border of Union Square and the Tenderloin, so you are guaranteed character, that's for sure. There's a hostel next door and the hotel is generally populated by young people, who could be a little noisy but were more lively and pleasant than anything. Central to pretty much everything in SF; if you've got good walking shoes or can take public transportation, you won't even need to worry about parking. Staff is super friendly, rooms reasonably clean.
There are a lot of homeless people, that's for sure, but that's San Francisco's problem, not the Super 8's. Parking garage across the street is convenient but that's another $35 dollars on top of an already pretty expensive room rate, especially given the rooms are teeny tiny.
small room, noisy A/C.Hotel look so old ,need decor
Continental breakfast was alright and included your breakfast basics to start the day.
Staff did not answer at front desk a number of times, bathroom was not cleaned thoroughly. Location was near a homeless hot spot which was sketchy at night time.
Location Comfortable beds
Price Wifi was inconsistent Old Cheaply build Dirty
friendly staff valet parking localisation
expensive valet parking, but that' SF. tiny room and toilet technical room condition (towel rack fell of the wall during hanging towel) Do not take breakfast as the advantage of this hotel. You will need definitely eat something after this continental breakfast. It is unpleasant and rather dangerous to go for a walk on the surrounding streets after 8.00 pm. I really recomend one should spend 30$ more and stay in much much better hotels located near Union Square.
Everything was nice and clean
You guys need to have a little more options for breackfast
the staff were very helpful ,, in all my needs ,, an went out of there way to help ,, also arranged airport transfers
the rooms were a bit small ,, especially with 3 suitcases ,, aircon needs updating
Good location a short walk from union square
We booked three queen rooms and two of them were very small. Wi-fi signal was patchy.
The room was clean, the bed ver comfortable, the shower had ample hot water. Conveniently located to Union Sqaure, but quite a distance from Fisherman's Wharf. By San Francisco standards, it was good value for money. The staff were generally friendly, although the front desk clerk who greeted us on our arrival, was a bit miserable.
The room was very small. The breakfast area was far too small for the size of the hotel, to the extent that we went elsewhere for breakfast.
Very good location
staff very rude
Front Desk told me to get my own towels from them. The bathroom floor was extremely dirty. Dirty enough to make the bottoms of my feet black from walking around the bathroom and room. The bed was so hard and firm that sleeping on the floor would have be softer. Valet Parking-35 a night. Not too bad but had to wait up to 45 mins for the car to be pulled around. Next time, Ill spend the extra 50 bucks and stay in a hotel and not this dump.
Wonderful comfy bed. Breakfast great. Staff very helpful. Location excellent. Certainly would recommend.
The room was surprisingly clean, and the bathroom was renovated
The guy at the front desk was a little rude and had no personality. The location of the hotel is in a somewhat seedy part of town.
Great location Good price Helpful staff Good rooms Free breakfast
Could use a restoration Noise from ground floor nightclub Loud refrigerator compressor Loud air conditioner
Right downtown, in the action of the city
Lots of bums in area
Location was in a drug infested area full of trash in the streets, drug addicts and homeless sleeping on the sidewalks. Parking and the hotel wanting to charge us 25.00 per day for valet parking felt like they where trying to take advantage
Very helpful staff and pretty safe place:)
The from desk
Looks guys this not the Ritz but your not paying Ritz money, Excellent location handy for all transport, rooms are a little small but what do you expect for the money. I would stay there again
Only the size of the room but hey you get what you pay for
Room didn't smell so good.
The hotel is rather old, but well located and good maintained. He breakfast is really poor, but it doesn't matter in case of lots of dining places around.
