Score from 183 reviews Very good
Clean, large room, good breakfast selection
the lack of an elevator is a problem as you have to carry your luggage up the stairs.
housekeeping and front desk staff friendly & helpful
The first desk clerk wore plastic cloves like he thought he would get a disease. Never smiled. Made me uncomfortable from the start. The second clerk in the morning was about the same without the gloves. All parking places were full but luckily there was a snowy area I could just squeeze into. Traffic in the area was terrible.
Room was decent and clean.
run down, old, not a great neighborhood
Price was good, and breakfast, parking, and wi-fi included.
Wifi was not protected by a log-on code. Even so, I couldn't connect to the internet. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom.
the TV did not work, not a big deal, but the very slow WiFi (I wasn't trying to stream video, just checking plain text email and checking google maps to plan where I'm going) is a pain.
2 blocks from the bus lines
Staff were not very talkative. Felt like I was bothering them some times.
Great price. Great location. Spacious, clean rooms.
Right as you walked in there was a smell of cleanliness in the lobby. The staff was accommodating (we arrived at 1am). Our room and bathroom were clean as well. Breakfast in the morning was great: waffles, toast, cereal, OJ, and fruit. Could not have been more pleasantly suprised.
Staff not helpful at all. Lost a camera there but failed to get it back.
Clean bathroom and located near Cambridge, good photo op.
Dingy building and rooms. No lift so hike the steep stairs. Breakfast was so-so but the watered down orange juice was a no-no!
location and price
This facility was a flea bag motel. My husband and I checked in and within 1 minute, I was having a reaction to the old smoke in the air. This establishment stressed that they were non smoking, but evidently no one paid attention to the signs posted every 2 feet. This place is a dive, dirty, and just plain not fit For humans.
I liked NOTHING!!!!
Only two tables for breakfast, without a gps, would never have found it, bathroom small without vanity space.
It was pretty clean and had light yogurt for breakfast.
Wifi intermittent. Bus and subway to get to City Centre. Lot of traffic noise.
Breakfast was good. Reception staff were good.
No pool, 2 tables in the breakfast area. Everything was old. Not a good deal for $125/night.
The location was what we needed.
The staff did not seem interested in solving my Wi-Fi connection problems. Instead they referred me to a printed flyer provided by the Wi-Fi provider, which did not help me at all. According to the flyer, I had to call an 800 number if I had connection problems. Additionally, the hotel did not provide a computer that was already connected to the internet.
The room was clean, comfortable & quiet. Compared to other hotels in the Boston area, the price was very reasonable.
either no WiFi service, or very spotty. Mostly only available in "lobby" which had small table and 2-3 straight back cheap chairs. Anyone with need/desire to use wifi while in room is out of luck.
clean room, good mattress, hot water quickly
It is located on a main road and there was some early morning commuter traffic.
Room was comfortable and clean. A decent price for our accommodation. The breakfast was just right.
Room was comfortable, with hairdryer, coffee machine, fridge, bath with shower.
1.not visible from the road 2. trying to charge me $1/per bottle of drinking water which normally is free for guest
Carpeting in hallway is very shabby and needs replacing. Carpeting in room (by door/at bathroom entrance) is a pattern that helps to hide dirt, but needs thorough, deep cleaning.
Kid at front desk when I checked in was very nice. Room was clean and housekeepers were very nice too. Very little traffic noise.
It was a wee bit run down.
It was a bed and a roof
Staff was too bad. Room was not clean.
The location. It was a bit far for our basic activities.
The bed was super comfortable. It was quiet and clean.
The bathroom ventilation did not work, the toilet blocked (we used the plunger provided to us to clear it), the basin did not drain well, and the tub was slippery underfoot except where no-slip strips had been applied. Persistence was required of a family member who called us, as the desk staff with whom they spoke could not readily find a record of our being in the motel.
The parking was close to the room, and the beds were clean and firm.
