location and price
I liked NOTHING!!!!
This facility was a flea bag motel. My husband and I checked in and within 1 minute, I was having a reaction to the old smoke in the air. This establishment stressed that they were non smoking, but evidently no one paid attention to the signs posted every 2 feet. This place is a dive, dirty, and just plain not fit For humans.
It was pretty clean and had light yogurt for breakfast.
Only two tables for breakfast, without a gps, would never have found it, bathroom small without vanity space.
Breakfast was good. Reception staff were good.
Wifi intermittent. Bus and subway to get to City Centre. Lot of traffic noise.
The location was what we needed.
No pool, 2 tables in the breakfast area. Everything was old. Not a good deal for $125/night.
The room was clean, comfortable & quiet. Compared to other hotels in the Boston area, the price was very reasonable.
The staff did not seem interested in solving my Wi-Fi connection problems. Instead they referred me to a printed flyer provided by the Wi-Fi provider, which did not help me at all. According to the flyer, I had to call an 800 number if I had connection problems. Additionally, the hotel did not provide a computer that was already connected to the internet.
clean room, good mattress, hot water quickly
either no WiFi service, or very spotty. Mostly only available in "lobby" which had small table and 2-3 straight back cheap chairs. Anyone with need/desire to use wifi while in room is out of luck.
Room was comfortable and clean. A decent price for our accommodation. The breakfast was just right.
It is located on a main road and there was some early morning commuter traffic.
Room was comfortable, with hairdryer, coffee machine, fridge, bath with shower.
1.not visible from the road 2. trying to charge me $1/per bottle of drinking water which normally is free for guest
Kid at front desk when I checked in was very nice. Room was clean and housekeepers were very nice too. Very little traffic noise.
Carpeting in hallway is very shabby and needs replacing. Carpeting in room (by door/at bathroom entrance) is a pattern that helps to hide dirt, but needs thorough, deep cleaning.
It was a bed and a roof
It was a wee bit run down.
Staff was too bad. Room was not clean.
The bed was super comfortable. It was quiet and clean.
The location. It was a bit far for our basic activities.
The parking was close to the room, and the beds were clean and firm.
The bathroom ventilation did not work, the toilet blocked (we used the plunger provided to us to clear it), the basin did not drain well, and the tub was slippery underfoot except where no-slip strips had been applied. Persistence was required of a family member who called us, as the desk staff with whom they spoke could not readily find a record of our being in the motel.
Price and convenience were good for what we needed.
The air conditioner and the refrigerater were both noisy. Something was wrong with the fan on th ac and it made some noises. Also the refrigerater had a squeal that went on most of the time. My husband could not find the milk for cereal during breakfast.
Location was OK
felt and looked unclean and ancient - stained carpets, peeling paint etc Neither hair dryer nor coffee maker worked, despite reporting.
Location, price. Dominos Pizza next door does room service!
Kinda grungy, strong cleaning product odor, mildew, phones didn't work, staff unhelpful and unfriendly.
Good location, good price, staff were friendly and helpfull.
Bed was uncomfortable.
To be honest everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and available for a longer period than most Motels. It was convenient for Public Transport to link with the Red Line Subway for access to the City. No 70 bus from outside to Central Square Station or a short walk to Watertown Square for the No 71 trolleycoach to Harvard Square Station. Close by was a liquor store, convenience store and also food outlets on St Aubern Road.
bathroom was rough--walls had peeling paint; desk clerk on Sunday morning took a good five minutes to separate himself from whatever had his attention on the computer to check me out--5 min. AFTER I said Hello. This is NOT the clerk with the walking aid on his arm.
Location, affordability, staff.
A bit of an odd odor in the room (like they were trying to get rid of years of smoke smells), it was a little run down.
The location was very good, easy to get to on Public transportation
The staff at the front desk barely speak to you when you arrive or come down to lobby. I found them to be unfriendly overall. Strange when you consider they are in the hospitality business. The motel is grossly over priced for what they offer. My room smelled musty and had peeling paint and a run down look.
This hotel was terrible!! I booked the hotel because it was close to my workshop. The room was filthy. I was sitting on my bed watching tv and a bug crawled over the bedspread. I removed the bedspread. I.went to take a shower and the bathroom and shower curtain reeked of urine. I would have left except I don't know my way around the Boston area and I needed to be at my workshop early the next morning.
