The valet service, room service and bell staff were wonderful. the desk staff was unfriendly and rude.

Large&clean bathroom

Standing 1 block away asking for directions the lady on the phone at the hotel was very rude!!!

good location and the local restaurants....

I requested adjoining rooms, a refrig in the room, and a crib as we were an extended family traveling with a 6 month old. Although they did not not have traditional adjoining rooms, they did have a room configuration that fit our needs and the refrig and the crib were there when we checked in. The crib had bumpers, a beautiful sheet and blanket, and even came with little bottles of powder and baby cream! A wonderful stay!

The coffee bar in the lobby was taken away too soon.

The location was nice. 5 blocks to train station and bus. Very helpful concierge named Cheryl and very friendly door men. Huge rooms with beautiful bathroom and soaking tub. Bars and restaurants across the street. This is a fancy hotel. Better for adults than families.

We like to have a fridge in the room and an ice machine available. You have to call room service for it. We were put in a room next to the elevator shaft. Very noisy. I thought we booked a king, not two doubles. Not certain. Didn't notice noise in time to switch.

A customer was sent to my room at 8:30am by the staff. Carpet by the door was soaked.

We liked that it was in a cozy, close to a neighborhood and not shops. We were there for our Aniversary. we requested a special room which they coldn't give us instead they upgrated our room to a suit which was thoughtful and still made our stay very special. Everyone was very nice and smiled all the time they seemed happy doing their job. We went to the whitmore one year because this hotel had a wedding and was booked they made us feel like they were doing us a favor...never again. We already recommended it to several pople we met there who were also visiting. Thanks for helping making our trip specatcular. Viva Chicago!

Some of public areas seemed worn and stairs leading down from looby to restrooms on lower level very worn and dirty

One of the best locations in Chicago. Close to everything! Beds and bedding was very comfortable and clean. It's worth it to get a corner room, you have amazing views with all the windows.

Rooms and hotel tend to be dated and furniture tends to look quite used. Stereo in room was a nice touch, but it was very old and didn't sound very good. I believe the hotel is slowly changing the TVs but my room still had a big square box, which really made the room look dated.

Great location -- nice rooms --- reasonable price per night. Staff was very helpful......

One thing ---- only two elevators for a large hotel, and they were a bit slow.........

Restaurant No coffee in the rooms

I found Sutton Place on booking.com liked the price. My kids thought our room was great they didn't even mind that they didnt have a pool. Our trip started because my kids love trains and I wanted to take them to the Lincoln park zoo we just happen to fall into a very nice hotel for a great price I would love to go back.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

In this day and age, charging $10 a day for internet use is silly -- even Motel 6 has free wi fi!
