The location was in walking distance for dining and shopping.
They are really over. Priced for the value of their rooms!
Great location for Carmel visit. Continental breakfast delivered to room. Congee bed
Room 15 too small and not worth. the price. Ask for upgrade!
Loved the look of the facility, the comfort of the beds and the wonderful two person Jacuzzi spa. Breakfast was great and more than enough for two people.
Didn't like the people above us who dropped suitcases and stomped around the room very early in the morning.
Location is perfect. Layout as well, with a very nice courtyard which as well isolate the rooms from the main street (not a noisy area anyway). Breakfast is served in a bag outside the room so you can have it privately. Not a wonderful breakfast but OK.
Very comfortable rooms and in a good location. Within easy walking distance of centre. Breakfast delivered in cool bags each morning and perfect for an early start. Teas, coffees and cookies available in reception each afternoon.
There was no air con.
staff very friendly, rooms are big, they bring you a breakfast box to your room, location is great
hotel is not so fancy, motel style
Toilet & Bathroom with no window or ventilation. Canned breakfast. Strong moisture smell in the room. (It was reported to the hotel management ... no actions where taken to change room). Overpriced!!
Staff very helpful. Breakfast included which came in a cool box to your door. Good location within easy reach of local restaurants.
I hadn't realised it was a pet friendly motel and may not have picked it had I known. However there were no signs of animals having been in our room previously so the cleaning must be good!
Staff were very helpful. Found items we left in the room and contacted the next hotel we were going to. Looked for ring I thought I had lost but fortunately it turned up in luggage. Room was perfect. Great location within hotel. Good coffee and cookies. All in all the best hotel we have stayed in in Carmel. Would happily recommend.
The bed was not quite as comfortable as we would have liked. Tended to roll into the middle. Otherwise fab.
No air conditioning
Had us stay in a dog room. I am allergic!!
Location, parking, good breakfast served to rooms.
Convienent location nice desk clerk
Stuffy room no water provided
Very nice hotel, cute, beautiful.
room was large and the manager had put a bottle of wine in our room as we were celebrating our honeymoon.
Although large, the room was dated and the bathroom had seen better days. The worst aspects were the paper thin walls - we could here the snoring from the next room - and the horrendous mattress. We both had the worst night's sleep as it was lumpy and sunk in the middle. Overall incredibly over-priced (although all hotels in the facility seem equally pricey) would recommend staying further out and driving into Carmel as there's not much to see there anyway.
The room we got was very small and the shower even smaller. We decided not to bring our dog but clearly got a dog friendly room not people friendly. I wouldn't sit in the chairs if you paid me which left me very skeptical of the bed. Luckily the sheets were clean. The bare necessities.
Our room (19) smelled, full of fungus in the bathroom, very unpleasant after a 9 hrs drive. Had to keep the windows open all night - a bit noisy.
Let's see, there must be something, oh yes, new Kureg coffee maker.
Very high price, was told check in at 2:00, arrived at 4:00, had to wait 25 minutes because the room wasn't ready, housekeeping staff failed to supply wash clothes, made reservation 9 months prior to our stay, requesting an upstairs room, when we arrived was told none were available, could hear upstairs guests conversation and their every movement. Was told breakfast was included with the room, when it arrived, it consisted of 2 bowls of cold cereal, 1/2 pint of milk, 1 breakfast cinnamon roll, 1 apple,1 orange, 2 jellys, (for what?) and 2 small cans of apple juice and 1 set of plastic knife, fork and spoon!
The size of the room: excellent
People calling their dog about 10 times at MIDNIGHT at the top of their voices. Dogs barking at all hours, but mostly after we were in bed for the night. Better variety of breakfasts.
Location; Big and nice room; Coffee, tea, cookies and fresh water are available at the reception wich is nice.
The idea of leaving the breakfast at each room door is nice, but the breakfast itself is a little bit poor..
Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were very clean and large. The Inn is great walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach.
Quiet, conveniently located within walking distance of the downtown area and the beach. Fairly priced. Comfortable bed.
The breakfast was delivered in a very cute way, but was very inferior in quality. We did not end up eating any of it, which was a waste.
Excellent location near the main street where all the action is. The hotel rooms were a bit small and dated but very clean and comfortable. Morning breakfast delivered in a cooler was way more than enough food for two people to eat and it was very pleasant.
We loved the courtyard in the middle of the hotel. The bed was very nice and comfortable. We liked that we could walk from the hotel to pretty much anywhere we wanted.
For our honeymoon we thought that we had booked a room with a spa tub but were sad to see that it was just a regular tub with jets in it. We talked with the front desk and he was very nice to upgrade us to the room with the large 2 person tub. The description should be more clear to show that a jetted tub does NOT mean spa tub.
been there many times, like the environment and staff
wi fi sucks, needs hard wire connection which meets todays needs
