The staff were very nice and helpful I booked 3 rooms at one time and two of them were supposed to be doubles. When I got there all rooms were singles. The staff did tell me not to get a street view room because it was loud. I didnt listen and boy was that a mistake. The street view rooms are like sleeping right on the street.

It's location was the best. The parking was too expensive but the location was prime. Sound-proofing could be improved greatly.

The location & price were great. Rooms are not very big and there was limited space to put clothing. For a few days it was fine. Plenty of places to eat around.

Located inbetween Union Square and Fisherman's Wharf. Good access to bus transit so getting places was easy. Hotel and room are clean and looks renovated. I'm picky about the state and cleanliness of the bathrooms and this one was good, no black spots of any kind. Included a good basic breakfast which was good enough to get you out the door, save the space in the tummy for the seafood restaurants. Front desk staff were very friendly. Good value. Rooms on the small side, no in room kettle or coffee machine. I didn't ask if they had one I could use as I used it like a base camp so for the price it was a bargain. I didn't spend a lot of time in the room since I was out sightseeing most of the time so no biggie.

The walls were very thing. I got lucky and only had an issue with that one early morning - the guy next to me had a teleconference at 6 am. I could also hear the tv from other rooms often, but luckily never when I was trying to sleep. I would recommend this to people that don't mind the slightly seedy area, and are comfortable having to use earplugs if they need to.

Great staff. Lively but very safe location. Many rich options for food and shopping in the area. Room was clean. Bathroom was gigantic (relatively). Price is very good compared to others in the same class. Breakfast was below basic. Don't depend on it. Parking was not free, but you can't really blame them. Most hotels charge for parking.

The location was perfect for a visit to the North Beach/ China Town neighborhoods as its literally right between the two. Had Dim Sum or Chinese porridge for breakfast and top notch Italian for dinner. Easy to get to other parts of town as well. Will definitely stay here again. There is a continental breakfast room with the basic necessities...coffee, juice, bready things, and cereal. Can't think of anything, really. Room was pretty quiet and had no problem sleeping.

Easy access to all places in the city, value for money, excellent staff The shady night clubs nearby might make it bothersome for some people, lack of proper sound insulation between rooms (I cld clearly hear the conservations of people in the nearby room)

The location is good to visit san francisco. The room I had was quite nice. The wireless didn't work and the staff didn't do anything to fix it. They didn't apologized at all. Breakfast is really poor and bad quality. The remote control was disgustingly dirty. There was a bad smell in the corridors.

I enjoy having just the basic essentials at a hotel: no spa, pool, or excercise room for me. Give me free internet access, a clean room, and quiet. Sw provided all that. Maybe the time of year that I traveled (Oct) but finding a cab wasn't easy and trying to get back to the sw was difficult as all, except one, taxi drivers didn't know where the sw was located. Even Super Shuttle didn't know where the hotel was located.

The staff was very helpful. The room was very comfortable and the location was convenient for shopping and sightseeing I was traveling with a friend and we felt a bit unsure about the neighborhood, it seems to be on the border of the strip clubs and gay bars. We didn't walk the area at night but cab fare to the wharf was only $15.
