The room was a good size with a wonderful efficiency and 2 comfy queen beds. Breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious and the pool was refreshing. When our car broke down we were able to take advantage of the delayed check out policy and that was a life saver. I highly recommend this charming hotel.
There were water stains on the ceiling that a little paint would fix and the new sliding balcony door did not lock.
Breakfast was ok.
Kids running around- noisy
The room was clean and comfortable.
I've never had to pay for ice and there was only room for a hand full of people in the breakfast area. For the size of the facility you would think you could have breakfast sitting down. The coffeemaker is located behind the door to the deck which made things very awkward.
Loved the cleanliness and the size of the room!
It was rather far from all the attractions.
It was a beautiful hotel with the perfect size room for us. The king suite was beautiful and the hotel as a whole was clean and great. Would definitely go back!
pleasant staff decent breakfast clean rooms
Great Location, Good swimming pool, Good breakfast,
The location was convenient for us. Desk person was approachable and offered any assistance, provided us with another (larger) room when the first room proved unsuitable. Bathroom, towels and sheets were clean. Stayed for two nights. The facilities were adequate for our needs, double room was less confining than the single. We didn't take advantage of the complimentary breakfast - no comment.
Single room is very small and below larger rooms. Smell in the single was overpowering - my reaction was nausea - husband started to experience allergic reaction. Rooms were not sound proof. Appearance and facility isn't updated, probably was a quaint and lovely place in the 70's.
it was not very expensive,it's old and not fancy but it was clean, free breakfast was ok, good location if you want to do a bit of hiking and shopping. there was an outdoor pool, the kids liked that. i would consider staying here again.
when we first arrived the young fellow that checked us in was not the friendliest. but some of the other staff was friendlier. the breakfast area is small and crowded..and breakfast time ends too early.
Hot tub in room.
Breakfast - cold sausage patties, scrambled eggs from a box. Traffic noise from highway.
The room was very clean overall and every staff member we met was friendly and helpful.
The room had a damp smell, we told the desk person upon leaving and he was very apologetic, saying they have been trying to minimize the moisture, but all the rain this season was making it hard.
location look of hotel - Upkeep outside on the buildings and grounds was good Staff very friendly and helpful Great for motorcycle parking
Rooms smelled musty and Outdated Pool was "sun" heated a bit cool Hot tub was only 89 degrees
noisy children running on the second floor over our heads. room smelled like ALOT of cleaning products. We had to leave windows and doors open, as well as turn on the bathroom fan to dissipate the smell. loud chatty woman talking on a cell phone outside OUR room at 2:00am
Awesome accommodations!! Wonderful owners and facilities!
Room was a cute room with 2 double beds and a balcony which came in handy to hang our wet bathing suits and towels on. Breakfast being included was a bonus and had good choices.
No towels at the pool. No coffee in the room.
Friendly and professional staff Breakfast choices Clean
A certain smell when you enter the room.
very claen and friendly
Great place. Well maintained. Friendly staff. Very good and complete breakfast. Quiet and the bed was cionfortable.Pool is very clean Easy to access.Cable with a Flat screen TV. Half way between Mount Washington and North Corway. I recommend
Problem with the toilet. Water tank is not filling enough. Except this, no complain
Location was perfect for our early morning hike. Staff was friendly and accommodating for our late arrival. Clean and secure
Location is perfect between North Conway and the White Mountains. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, and AC worked just fine. We stayed in a room with a king size bed and hot tub. The hot tub was extremely clean and worked very well. The fireplace was a nice touch and is probably great to have when staying there in the winter. Continental breakfast was good and stocked until the end. The owner is very welcoming and goes out of his way to ensure your enjoy your vacation. We would definitely stay here again!
Bathroom could be updated but it was just fine the way it is.
Owner was very accommodating. We booked a room too small for our family and the owner was quick to offer a larger room. Great breakfast.
Small room for breakfast, however easy to bring to your room if you want to.
Great location and view from our room. The breakfast included was delicious and the front desk staff was very nice.
The hotel room door was very difficult to open/close. It made a very loud sound every time someone opened it. The heated pool was not heated.
The person that greeted me was quite energetic and helpful. He gave me directions on where I needed to go for the continental breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi was also clean and worked great. The waffle maker was a nice touch to the breakfast options.
The breakfast area was really small. I felt like I was in the way no matter where I went. There weren't enough seats inside or outside. Also, the view from the king suite room was not what I expected. I had a view of the parking lot and the hotel's pool and jacuzzi. Lastly, the room's fireplace didn't give off much light.
The location is beautiful. Staff is friendly and helpful. Quiet and peaceful. Easy accsess to story land and Santa's village.
no complaints at all
