The staff was so rude and racist. As soon as they us they said we couldn't rent a room even though we had booked on booking and had a confirmation. I had previously stayed last year about 5 times but I will never go back. Awful!

I had a very terrible experience when I stayed in Swiss Lodge Motel this weekend. 1. Never trust if they say they provide you a continental breakfast. It’s absolutely a trap. 2. Room is very dirty; I don’t’ think they change the bed sheet, towels before you move in. furniture is broken they don’t fix; 3. It’s seems it’s a family style motel. They treat their customers very rude. I will never ever go this this motel

The location was not to far from the stadium however you still must drive to the Rose Bowl. Not close enough to walk and cabs wont take you to stadium.
When I arrived the room had only been semi cleaned, still had food in refrigerator and used condoms in the trash can. I also left my cell phone behind in the room and management refused to help get it to me. They stated they didn't know where a post office was to help mail it even if I paid for it. I don't live in driving distance and therefore had to no way to pick it up. I found a friend on Facebook that happens to live in southern California who picked it up and was able to mail it to me. I couldn't even get a manager to help me as the front desk personnel stated the manager was out of the country for a month.
The room was clean and fairly well maintained.
The TV mounted on the wall of the room next door made the intrusive noise travel into our room. The refrigerator was not plugged in and smelled musty.

It was very noisy during our second night there. First the neighbors to left work us up at 1pm, then those on left came back at 2am very drunk. They calmed down after the staff person came and talked to them.
The location is close to rosebowl
Old beds, old decor, old tv, I woke the front desk up at 10am when I checked out. Pool was out of order. This is a 1 star hotel don't be fooled. Wood support screwed into the wall to hold up the shower walls.
Inexpensive, manager let us check-in earlier than posted, we had a party to go to and wanted to get ready. Quiet.

second day no toilet paper tries to call about it the phone does not work not even a dial tone go to the office and was treated rudely by the lady about it When I got back to my room after work to sleep at 9pm I was not able to sleep until after midnight due to the workers they had working on the parking lot who were using large noisy equipment until after 11 at night the lady said this was normal I want my money back and will probably dispute the charge on my credit card since booking.com isn't helping with their horrible rules on purchases

I dont mind the simple accommodations after all the price was reasonable. However the is ni reason why the place is so filthy and unkept. The shower drain didn't work and the bathroom sink was cracked. The TV turn off button didn't work. The only way to shut it was to unplug from the wall. I asked for a blanket around 10pm on Saturday and was told they could not help me because there were the only one working the desk. I had to laugh, since the place was beyond dead and the supply room was not that far from the desk area. Save your self the trouble and stay someplace else. I know I will.
Upon arrival, the room looks it has been renovated. Generally okay, if you don't mind cockroach. Night shift receptionist ( Daniel-- can't remember his name) was pleasant to deal with. Good location.
I noticed that whoever cleaned the refrigerator didn't do a good job because there was a used bottle of water in the fridge. While taking a shower at night , noticed something moving up on the wall in the shower. I got curious. It took me by surprise, it was a big cockroach. Tale note, not a small one but a big one!! I got scared. I am really disapppointed because i have never had as bad as an experience lile this while lodging. I also noticed that they have a clear plastic wrapped around their smoke alarm. Also, pool is out of order. Not too concerned about that anyway since I have no plans of swimming but just FYI. For safety purposes, I think that it defeats its purpose. I have to also say water pressure in the toilet bowl in the morning was really poor. First flush is okay but I had to manually flush it w/ more water using the ice bucket!! Terrible!! And i had to pay around $93 for this?'?! Waste of money. In the morning, I checked-out early , around 7:30am. I just want to leave asap. I told the front desk, the receptionist ( Josh) about my experience Regarding the cockroach, the fridge, and the plastic covering the smoke alarm. He asked me, " Was it alive or dead?" I told him it was alive and he explained that he will let the guy that sprays know. He even told me that this is Pasadena and there are trees around... (Well, I live in Glendale and there are trees in my area too but I don't have a single cockroach in the house.) What mean is, that is not an excuse. I told him, it is a basic expectation for the room to be clean. Then he asked are you coming back?? I asked ,"why?" He said, " Well, i can give you 25% discount next time. I'm just thinking he wasn't addressing my current issue. Anyways, bad customer service ( not good in handling complaint- dayshift) and cockroach. I told the morning shift receptionist to make sure he writes a report on this so they can address these issues. I really hope that he did.

they put me in the top corner room. there was gang writing on the wall, the shower was dirty, there was food stains on the floor, no towels or cups in the room, there was tape on the light fixtures and the was no fitted sheets on the bed which smelled like mens colong. the men at the front desk were rude. anytime i would ask for anything for my room they told me i had to show id to verify who i was. they studied my id like i was a criminal. it made me uncomfortable. the room smelled like smoke, the carpet was very dirty and the walls had stains
Location was good.
Staff were rude to the three boys I took to Pasadena. We hardly spent time in the room except to sleep and were accused of being too noisy. Just crazy.

Great place! Good location - at the main boulevard, close to a metro station and there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel! Very nice people, kind and good staff, I enjoyed my stay very much!

Customer service was terrible. The receptionist called to let us know that it was time to leave at 11 (which is helpful) but called with a rude tone and abruptly hung up. Whe were getting stuff ready to go and the maid comes (which is normal). As we were still gathering up stuff to leave 10 min. later, another call came in. This time he says "It's almost 12…" with a terrible attitude. I replied "Well were trying to leave if you didn't hassle us" with the same tone and hung up. I love the place but the attitude from when we first got there to the end, made us not want to come back.
