size of the room was great. Location was good.
Ask for a non smoking room and was given a smoking room. We could smell smoke the minute we came in. Not enough handicapped parking.
My room was wonderful. It was 900 ft.². It was the one bedroom. Extremely close to the freeway and many restaurants.
The kitchen, size of the 1bed apt. 2 TV, big bathtub internet is free and fast
Sheet scratchy and thin. Both of us did feel it. Affected our sleep. One soapbar for three sinks. Small kitchen table and no work desk.
Amenities were good, but we weren't there long enough to use them.
We requested a bottom floor, but we're given the 9th floor. Our room was on the opposite side of the hotel from the elevator. The problem being we had one lady using a walker and one with a cane. We were also changed a fee for the pool. It was winter.
A nice quiet place
Just the facility Free shuttle to strip
Staff are very unprofessional No customer service skills I called up front desk requesting for late checkout and they said the room is not available When I came to checkout they told me I was to stay longer as per the booking. I think the staff are lazy don't want to help out. If they would have checked the computer then they would have seen that I was checking out earlier and would have allowed me to stay later for checkout. Useless staff
I really liked the actual room. Once we made it to the room the stay was great. The pool and lazy river were well used by my kids. And the location of the resort was perfect. Just south of the main strip. Right next to Outlet stores. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Shuttles that take you to the strip.
I think my biggest gripe is the parking. They have "Loading Zones" which are usually full from overnight parkers. There are signs stating vehicles will be towed but its really not enforced. There is a parking structure but the hike from the room to the structure is far. They do have carts to load and transport luggage on but finding one is near impossible. I think people hoard them in their rooms for personal use.
It's was amazing, plan to come back in 2015, but this time we are planning for a 5 day stay.
The only thing I did not like is the late check in time of 4pm.
Dirty bathroom and noisy air-conditioning.
An excellent resort to relax. The location is just superb. It is away from The Strip so it is a very good place to relax during the day. With a pool, spa and lazy river - what more can you ask? There are good restaurants inside the resort and most importantly, the Premium Outlet is just about 5 minutes walk. The rooms and facilities are excellent. A free shuttle bus is available servicing The Strip. Definitely, a very good value for money.
...that our holiday is over and we have to leave Las Vegas. :(
I loved everything. The amenities were fantastic. The staff were very courteous, polite and helpful. Especially the shuttle driver Kevin and Mike. I can't wait for the spa to get a nail technician. Overall great home feel experience away from the strip.
Location and atmosphere. Laid back not gaming oriented, The staff were efficient and accessible. This was our second stay in the past three months.
pool and lazy river great accommodation relaxed and laid-back atmosphere really good shuttlebus service
no real dislikes
Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, away from the crowded strip but still conveniently located to shopping and restaurants and short drive into the main strip.
While we liked that parking was free, it's too bad that there isn't another parking structure closer to Tower 2.
when we arrived lady on the desk could not find our reservation and i sent it to her - than she charged price of the room and additional 100 usd deposit (that she promised to return in 3-5 working days - still did not return) from my debit card and at morning when we left hotel I found that hotel charged again full price of the room from a same card - it meen that I paid for hotel twice - I sent mail for manager but did not receive any answer - one week passed and they still dont return my money. I dont recommend this hotel for all travellers- I think they are too busy to avoid any mistake with bills and accounting and dont think about their clients at all
We loved the activities they offer each day- the lazy river and the pool. The activities staff were fantastic- the check in and concierge were less than helpful.
The rooms are old- and dark. The bedding is lumpy and awful. I didn't like the pictures hanging in the bathroom- there was "soft" porn on the wall. Give me a break. Also the bathrooms were totally dark- it just was too dark. Too far south of the strip.
The pool was awesome! It had something for everyone! It was heated, had a beach, and a hot tub that allowed my kids! The lazy river was a little chilly and a bit of a walk from the pool, ut we still enjoyed it! I just with the pool facilities were open a little later. The activity center was also a hit with my kids! The pool table, air hockey, and craft activities provided something to do in the slower times of our stay and it allowed mom and dad to relax too! Most hotels try to nickel and dime you for everything and here, everything was included! Loved that! The BBQ area was great too!
Not enough luggage carts and the key card security was overkill on every single door inside the resort.
Quiet place to unwind
Parking too far from the building
Lazy river & bar
I like that Tahiti Resort has excellent amenities.
The Jacuzzi has too much bleach and damage our swimming suits.
Elevator waiting time was too long
The Shuttle bus to the Strip was fantastic. And the driver very friendly and helpful.
The bed was very comfortable but also very high off the ground.
- The room has a great size, also a TV room and a kitchen without stove - Clean and good location, very close to Mandalay Bay - Has a 24 hrs Dennys in the hotel
- The lake swimming pool closes too early - I had a room on the non smoking room and on my 2º night, I woke up with my room fully of smoke smeel... terrible... could not breath... 2 days was the same... and on the 4º day a terrible smell of fried fish .... I am pregnant so almost throught up - Had no stove in the room
The sleeping LifeGuard on duty??
House clean once of week .. Too long !!!
