The way the rooms are set up to be more homey than that of a hotel was comforting. My boyfriend and I forgot toothpaste AND deodorant (wow) but they had complimentary ones down in the office! (Yay!) It was a freezing 26 degrees out during our stay so needless to say we were very reliant on the heater 24/7. Cannot believe how fast the room warmed up! Loved it!!
The bathroom is a little out dated but it was very clean. Very hard to complain, the only real issue is the t.v. There are only two Spanish channels and unfortunately neither my boyfriend or I speak much of the language. Thank god for wifi and Netflix on the ipad!
Nothing to dislike
My husband and I had come up 9/27/14 for a wedding and it was also my birthday. It was getting late so I started looking for a place to stay and found your place. We found your place very charming and found Allen who works the night shift, to be exceptually delightful he showed great professionalism, when we finally got into are beautiful room we wanted to start a fire since a big storm had just started my husband reached for the fireplace and all the power had gone out thoughout tahoe. Awesome Allen quickly jumped being It was pitch black out he ran to his truck and turned his headlights on so people could see the stairs or uneven pavement then he got everyone staying there a flashlight which I found to be superb service well above the norm he deserves some recondition for his superior service. We will for sure be back, to use the beautiful emenities. Thanks again for everything. We really enjoyed are stay storm and all.!
Nothing. No one can control natural storms.
Nice location. Just close enough to the strip.
Very outdated rooms. Hardly any amenities.
It was quiet It was clean The breakfast was good, plenty of variety from what to choose.
the building was a little dilapidated..needs to be remodeled.
Staff was great to work with and helpful. The room/suite was clean and spacious.
For Labor day weekend we got the suite overlooking the swimming pool. It was empty except for a bit of dirty water and old tires. (We may have been the only room with a view of the pool.) We were told that the traffic would die down and the bedroom would be quiet by 10:00. At midnight it was still noisy with about 30 cars a minute passing by. Bedroom was upstairs and bathroom was downstairs.
The comfortable bed. Breakfast was adequate, but nothing special.
The room was dark and tiny and the bathroom cramped. There are better places in Tahoe even for the low cost of this one. Our room was supposed to be a "theme room" but the only theme element was a 4-poster bed, and all other furnishings were standard-issue budget hotel stuff. (not that I actually cared about the theme thing, but if you do, you might be disappointed).
Nice and helpful staff.
Arrived at hotel to discover that they did not have a reservation from Booking.com Staff was very nice in finding another room but not the ones we had hoped for.
The staff was so friendly and eager to please. It doesn't have a working pool or spa, but that really isn't what you go to Tahoe for. It is just a short walk to the hub of the town. I will stay there again and recommend it to other people
There aren't coffee makers or hair dryers in every room. Although, there is coffee and continental breakfast in the lobby, and I was given a loaner hair dryer to use. As a traveler, you always assume these things are available, so plan ahead.
Location and cleanliness
A little on the high side in price for what you got.
everything outside inside comfortable really liked the place thanks Everyone.
wish l could of stayed longer.
decent location and good price
small room and very rude front desk lady with a accent
The hotel is easy to find. The room was small yet cozy. The bathroom was clean yet nothing fancy. The comfort of the bed was excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The 'no party brochure" at the front desk gave us assurance we could sleep. Parking is a a bit tight yet that exists in most places at Tahoe. We felt that value was excellent. If you spend a lot of time in a room, you may wish to reconsider. If you like opening the door to a large comfortable bed and then plopping on the bed. It's a good deal. Take the IHOP breakfast coupon instead of their continental breakfast. More choices and it is just down the street.
Parking was a bit tight but fine for cars. The trucks take a bit more space. Not bad, just is.
Rooms were very well decorated
The staff was very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The Breakfasts were good. We would recommend this as a great place to stay.
It doesn't have a pool.
Location and excellent staff
Very small outdated room. Breakfast late - 8.30 - no good for an early start. Voucher for ihop up to 9 dollars for 1 person.
Location was pretty close to shopping and gambling and the staff was pleasant.
The pictures advertising the hotel rooms was a little deceiving. We were given a very small bare bones room. The beds were hard and there was no air conditioning, which would not be a problem during most of the year, but with temperatures in the 80s, it was difficult to cool off the room at night..
Lots of parking, cause no guests
Bed Street Noise AC Noise was deafening No Fridge No Microwave Theme motel? Our theme was "poor white trash"
Very campy kitschy wedding chapel honeymoon theme. They gave us a "honeymoon" suite with a heart shaped tub (we didn't use - drought going on!)
Rickety end tables/furniture covered with chiffon scarves/drapes & tacky decorations (fake flowers). They didn't fix our leaking toilet even though I asked them to 3 times. I didn't the breakfast at all so we skipped it.
Really the only positive is that if all the casinos are booked and you need a last minute stay that's walking distance to casinos and shopping this place will work. And that's still paying $145 a night.
The place is outdated and probably hasn't been redone since the 70's. From the carpet to the towels to the pillows to the bed sheets you can tell this place is on the cheapy side. Towels are rough and thin, pillows are flat and non fluffy and if you need a blow dryer they only have a limited number of them and when my wife needed one they were all being used. They were supposed to call us to let us know if one will be available or not and After a half hour of waiting for one to free up we just left the room... Never got a call. Anyways like I said , If you need a last minute place where your just going to be in the room to sleep then it's ok.
Great location and nice staff.
Terrible accommodations. Old motel that desperately needs up-dating and renovations.
Perfect location, breakfast and wifi. Great value for money and one very helpful staff member.
we were able to gather together on the gazebo/patio for cocktails and appetizers while we all put on our final touches in the room before the lady gaga concert.
Spacious family suite. Three separate rooms including kitchen with tables. Good continental breakfast. Good location. Near Heavenly Village.
Would have liked more items in the kitchen.
Location Nice and very clean bathroom
