great location close to T
rooms kinda small really small bathroom
Location, staff who were curtious and helpful, facilities excellent.
The service was of a very high standard, from efficient check in and check out to good room service and concierge service. I was especially impressed by Ben the concierge who gave excellent recommendations!
Nothing in particular
Location was excellent and a lovely view over the park
Taj is a lovely hotel. We basically only slept there. The beds were very comfortable. The room was very quiet. The staff were friendly and excellent. It was a great experience for us.
The only thing I could see as a negative is the price. Bit out of our price range but a nice little treat for ourselves.
Concierge staff good; location good
All a bit tired and tatty around the edges. Expensive for what it was.
NICE CLEAN ROOMS, EXCELLENT LOCATION
Helpfulness of staff. Comfort of room. Location
Dress code for the bar/restaurant
The hotel is run down and not maintained!
Very good location, helpful staff and general feeling of being "At home"
No GRABRAIL in bath/shower
Well located, excellent facilities, very friendly and helpful staff
No swimming pool
Location Style and Décor of Hotel Friendliness of Staff Large Rooms
Rooms slightly tired looking - needed brightening up Bathroom could be more modern (better shower)
Our room was very good as it overlooked the Common. Jason and Bikal in the Restaurant provided us with excellent service. They are to be commended.
concierges and reception staff were outstanding.
Bathroom rather crampef
Large clean room, great service, excellent location
Needs electronic air controllers
room was next to where the maids refreshed their carts. It was noisy in the morning hearing lots of carts banging on the wall next to us.
Perfect site next to Newbury St. Pretty lobby. Big elevators
Customer service could have been better. Bell men were great, but front desk looked uninterested whenever we walked by. Not terrible, just a "I don't care about you" attitude.
Location, location, location... The view of the Public Garden was gorgeous. The room was well appointed.
The room was fairly small. The bathroom was very small. The view would have been enhanced had there been a screen in the window and had the window been able to be opened more than 3 inches. I would have liked to open the window wide and enjoy the fresh air while admiring the Public Garden.
The hotel is beautiful especially at night and the lobby people (Jesse!) were great taking our bags- we were a party of 7 with 5 kids/adult hangers on getting a free holiday.Location is lovely- you can walk from South station if arriving by coach or train.
Had to pay over $10 for 24hrs of wi fi just to check our flights. Can get free wi fi in Dunkin' donuts on the corner. Staff were eventually attentive but it took over 10 mins of sitting in the bar to get some service (and it wasn't busy). The old guy with the foreign accent was charming who takes orders and I thought I was in a scene from the old budapest hotel film. Prices hign but this is what you would expect- good range of beers and cocktails delivered to your table with panache!
Hotel rate is high but you have to pay for wifi! A separate charge for every device - we had a laptop and 2 mobiles so they wanted to cream $30 per night. Ridiculous.
The hotel was perfect in every way. The location is first class as was the staff, bed and the room with a view. It made our first trip to Boston very special and we would highly recommend the Taj hotel to all our friends and family.
Superb location, friendly staff (especially the house keeping staff), large rooms with a quality feel. Bed turned down with chocolates were a great touch.
No free WiFi in the rooms.
