    Superb location, friendly staff (especially the house keeping staff), large rooms with a quality feel. Bed turned down with chocolates were a great touch.

    No free WiFi in the rooms.

    The rooms were large and comfortable. The view and location were perfect. Everyone was very helpful. The staff at the front door and desk were extremely friendly.

    I thought the breakfast prices were ridiculous but breakfast was fast and easy so we ate there every morning. The waiters at the bar were very slow and didn't return once the first drink was delivered.

    Overall stay was very pleasant. Staff was really great.

    Beds were very comfortable but mattresses need to be updated or flipped. The bathroom sink was slow. Needed some work.

    I arrived at the hotel with my daughter as we were looking at colleges and stayed at the Taj for two nights . The view of the park is beautiful. The employees couldn't do enough for you, very friendly! Good location!

    I am a bit picky with the shower, the pressure of the water was weak, I stayed in an older hotel in Newport and it was amazing! That is the only thing that I can say could be upgraded. Everything else was excellent! Didn't eat in the hotel as it is a bit expensive .

    My stay with my niece was excellent thanks to our stay at Taj. We arrived cold and wet but the hotel's staff provided us with towels which helped us dry off and then let us check in early so we could change our wet clothes.

    Housekeeping knocked on our door too early. However they probably would not have if we hung the do not disturb sign on our door.

    From the check-in experience (they did everything to have our room ready before official 3PM check-in time), to valet to luggage handlers to dining staff and esp concierge (James is wonderful!).....everyone bent over backwards to make you feel special.

    Concierge were very helpful. Good location but not the best. Atuff were helpful. Rooms are wide and big.

    Pictures on the web dont reflect how the hotel and the rooms look in reality. Very expensive compared to the hotel rating and quality.

    Some noise from upper floors at night - we were on 16th floor. Am I able to claim my virgin flying club rewards? I didn't realise that this hotel was included in the rewards scheme? Membership No. 00765082517

    Lovely room. That's about it.

    Arrived, on Day / Night 1 of our honeymoon, and no staff in sight, anywhere; not at the front desk, not at any door; no concierge, No One! Eventually found a cleaner vacuuming the restaurant who went to the back office & located a "Jorda", night manager. Well, it was close to 1 am. However, if this si the best a 4 star / "Leading Hotel of the World" can do.... what can I say?

    Love this hotel! We were in Boston for college visits, and it was a great central location. Our luggage didn't arrive on time,mans the staff was so accommodating. Beautiful in every aspect!

    Situation.

    Long lines to check and for breakfast. No one to help us with luggage when we arrive at the hotel in the early morning.

    Great location. Excellent concierge, introduced himself to us in the elevator and then secured Red Sox tickets for us! 5 rows from the field.

    We are Taj Inner Circle Members so we like Taj world wide. The staff and standards of Taj are always good.

    The breakfast. The business of credits and being within that was unknown to us. Taj normally has a good range of breakfast and this was not seen at the hotel.

    The location and facilities and restaurant was very good and so were the staff.

    This hotel is tired and needs an expensive refurbishment. The beds were good but the rooms, bathrooms and particularly the carpets needed refurbishment as did the communal areas. The windows were filthy - it needs money spending on it to restore its former glory.
