There was soft music playing and a few lamps on when we arrived- very relaxing after the hectic drive. Hotel staff was very helpful with directions to hospital (our reason for booking) and with suggestions for lunch and dinner.
Cable would go out for a second or two multiple times in an hour. Setting the thermostat at any temperature did not stop the constant blowing of air through the ac/heater, not much of a problem but was noisy.
Staff, outstanding, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was great!!!
Bed was too soft.
The staff was wonderful. The GM Barbara was so helpful and welcoming.very professional
Very quiet with beautiful grounds. Rooms plain but pleasant.
comfortable and quet, grounds were large and nice, did not have the big hotel chain feel
THE STAFF AND THEIR ATTENTIVENESS THE DELICIOUS BREAKFAST AND THE CAMPUS WILDLIFE
The beautiful, about 40-acre site, was originally developed for Battelle NW laboratories, then used solely for private conferences and now essentially a B&B. Good breakfasts were available in a lovely dining room overlooking a pond. Our small, 2-bed room provided basic accommodations. Several restaurants were a short walk. Most of the people staying were associated with the nearby Univ. of Washington.
Maid-service/room cleaning needs better management oversight. Noise could be a problem, but the few people staying during our 3-night visit were quiet. However, we could readily hear people in adjacent rooms speaking and moving about.
Beautiful grounds, large rooms, very quiet, nice area. Walking distance to restaurants. Breakfast is included, and was a step above the normal free breakfast at most hotels. Great for individual travelers or a small conference.
The room was very comfortable with new quality linens. In general, the facilities are a bit dated, but clean. It would be nice if it were located closer to I-5, but it's a nice area.
the area was wonderful. It was quiet but close to restaurants and activities. Breakfast was good
the rooms were dated but clean.
The grounds are spectacular, complete with the pond and fountain. The dining room was very pleasant and the breakfast was excellent....so much better than the typical motel breakfast!!
Room C4 was too small for two double beds. It meant there was no room to turn around and no place to sit except on the bed. The lighting was bad with no lights above the desk so that it was difficult to use the computer. We stayed only 1 night rather than 3 due to these issues.
The location and hotel setting were outstanding. Staff were friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was truly Continental - reminded me of Germany. Rooms were clean with high ceilings and good desk space and comfortable chairs. Bed was firm and comfortable.
Oddly, the reading lamp had a 60 watt bulb which made reading and coffee preparation difficult. Bath sink drain was plugged.
It's very quite and clean .. You will not get annoyed in this hotel .. The location is good.. It isn't far from shopping mall. The staff are very polite and helpful.
I didn't like the breakfast.
Place was very nice quiet and the grounds were pieceful .
Rooms were a bit old and dated . Price was a bit high with the limited facilities.
Lusg grounds helped to cool the air on these fantastic summer days
Could not control (or turn off) the AC. I do not like AC and insured prior to arrival that the window opened etc. Little did I know the AC was pumped through 24 hours a day. I do not like the air quality. AC makes me sick..
We came to ride in the STP so the location was perfect for our needs.
The beds were extremely soft and bouncy.
Staff went over and above to help with small things.
Lovely grounds. Quiet and comfortable.
Tried to cancel our room. Manager was very uncooperative.
A very comfortable stay, all the amenities you could want with beautiful surroundings. Staff is very friendly and pleasant.
I have stayed 4 different times, but the rate this past week was very high with no discounts available.
Quiet for the part of Seattle that it's in. Room was very comfortable. I have a hard time sleeping away from my own bed most of the time. This was the best sleep I have had in months.
My car got keyed , scratched up in the parking lot overnight. Could use some better lighting in the parking area or better security sweeps.
Beautiful setting, wonderful breakfast and the perfect location for our Seattle stay.
Rooms were like a dorm room, but still comfortable.
The forested grounds, lovely lake with fountains, and wildlife (including bald eagles).
Breakfast buffet lacked variety for accommodations of this quality.
The grounds very relaxing and beautiful
The rooms were small, cramped and the beds were uncomfortable. The bathrooms had no counter space. The linens were clean but the floors and vents were very dusty.
good location, close to the city, quiet and cottages like room.
Beautiful quiet grounds, Very friendly staff
