Score from 107 reviews Very good
The rooms have an old smell to them; it wasn't too bad but just so your aware. The bathroom is huge but the sink is jammed in a small space it makes it difficult to get ready.
The bed was really comfortable. It was located in a good location right off the highway. We never experienced loud road noise but we weren't in the rooms closest to the highway so that might be an issue. Overall it was a good room for the price.
The only thing was that the room was really warm even with the air conditioning on. Luckily, there was a nice big fan to prevent it from getting super stuffy.
My friend and I both live near downtown SF. We had a long and sunny day of hiking in Muir Woods and beaching it at Stinson Beach, so this is exactly what we needed for one night. We ended up having a feast for dinner in the room and when my friend asked the lady at the front desk if she had any spare tables we could borrow, since there wasn't an actual table in the room. She was very nice and accommodating by letting us borrow a small expandable one that we just left in the room until we checked out the next day. They also extended our check-out to 12pm instead of 11am, which was nice. We would definitely go back plus reasonable price!
Towels poor, shower poor. size small
Bed was comfortable.
Room smell old but clean. Towels look old and dirty.
Location,Easy accessibility to the highway. Huge bathroom. Free wifi and parking. Close to restaurants and shopping area.Easy check in and out.
Although the bathroom fixtures were clean and had no mildew, bathroom windowsill was dirty.
Ultra convenient location to dance event, exercise studio, and good restaurants. Earplugs kept out highway noise, sleep mask kept out the motel lights.
broken stuff and outlets no to code
Bathroom could use some work, the shower leaked. But overall close to shops/gas/restaurants. 15 min drive to the beach.
good price for an overnight stay. We had a King bed and Queen bed, separated by a door for about 100.00. slept four of us perfect
expensive like downtown San Fransisco motels, no breakfast
parking near room
The room was only moderately clean and had been trashed in the past, with, for example, clearly kicked-in doors. Breakfast was coffee water and a stale gas-station danish.
Cool old school ambiance, moderately priced.
Noisy location, rude lady who called because I made a credit card error
The room has burns in the dirty carpet and has holes. Mini frig sitting on carpet doesn't open well. Cigarette burns in toilet lid. Furniture is Salvation Army old and dark with cracks and chips. Electrical outlets over filled with lose cords and hanging. Fan only no A/C. What's bothersome is a toilet seat can be replaced for 20 bucks in 10 minutes yet left with burns. No effort to spruce the place up at all. Putting a table under the frig would make it usable. I will pay more and stay elsewhere..
Clean sheets, location, wifi and cable. Bathroom clean.
the towels were dirty, large stains on them, need some bleach.
comfortable beds and cheap motel
Tiny room next to the freeway is super loud, but this was to be expected.
Cheapest place around, and for the money, it's quite good. That being said, the bed and bathroom were clean, check in and out was easy, everything worked and the wifi was fast.
Convenient, clean and a helpful staff.
Nice, clean, inexpensive place to sleep. If you are looking for luxury, you'll find it in San Francisco at 3 or 4 times the price. If looking for a reasonably priced place to spend the night in Marin County, try the Tamalpais. Excellent restaurants nearby.
Couldn't open door to refiidgerator, it was jammed up t desk, toilet was leaking from waterline in wall.
Excellent location, close proximity to Tiburon, downtown Mill Valley, easy access to freeway entrance to Sausallito, and Larkspur.
Hearing the people in the room next to mine but you can find that in many places.
Closeness to Sausalito and easy drive to coast. Clean to a degree
Motel was very expensive for what it was but the whole area was expensive in general.
The motel itself was nice and staff were friendly. It was a short drive into San Fran Downtown and there were buses nearby. There was a Safeway just up the road so had everything we needed.
Very mean continental breakfast! Poor cup coffee & nowhere to sit, offering only plastic Danish.
Room was clean, but very small.
Dingy, old. No toilet paper holder, cracked tiles, leaking toilet, no switchplate cover. Needs updating.
Room was clean and had a fridge and microwave.
It is right next to the US 101 freeway, and the traffic noise is high 24/7. They could improve their service by offering guests earplugs so that they could sleep better.
It is old and well maintained, and the receptionist was kind and helpful.
too much money for what is provided
that I didn't have to sleep in my car
could use a table, and a shelf in the bathroom
bed and pillows very comfy, clean, easy access, quiet
