This historic lodge is located on the shore of Twin Lakes and surrounded by mountains and skiing. The lodge was built in 1924 and provides seasonal bike and boat rentals. Tamarack Lodge rooms are located in the main lodge. The cabins are equipped with a kitchen and fireplace. A beautiful unique lodge tucked away in the mountains over looking a lake. Perfectly situated for winter sports, not far from the local village which is superb. Cosy reception/lounge area with a log fire, perfect for all day relaxation & breakfast. Wood/rustic finishings in the lodge are just lovely! Thank you for an enjoyable stay along with friendly noligable staff. We stayed in the lodge, the bathroom a bit small but the room had its own sitting room which allows for more spacious accommodation.

This is a lodge! Everything you could possibly think a lodge could be. Wood paneling, cabins, trees, wilderness!! The restaurant was excellent!! The food was innovative and it worked! Our stay was absolutely amazing!! Rooms were a bit small and cramped but cozy. Next time I want to stay in a cabin. I expect it to be the same size as the lodge room but with a small kitchen...

I like the "lodge" feeling and the location away from the bustle of the village. Having the option to take the shuttle to the slopes and avoid the Mammoth parking hassle. The surroundings were beautiful! The $20 daily resort fee in addition to the daily rate and hotel tax will keep me from coming back.

Quaint, Old, interesting, Historical. Kevin who checked us in was great.... Food in the restaurant was wonderful... 8600 Ft. is a problem for our age. Service in restaurant was not great. Service in the am was not in evidance. You advertise breakfast.! A short, not well thought out Buffet looked like it was put out by a young person with no thought or experience.

Tamarack is well worth the cost. The staff are amazingly friendly and willing to bend over backward to assist with any needs. The restaurant is a treat with 5 star dishes that didn't dissapoint. We savored every single bite and came back all 3 nights to try something new. Overall a great weekend and we are already planning our next trip.

Décor chaleureux du bar au restaurant de chalet alpin, chambre petite mais cosi bon restaurant l'insonorisation est très mauvaise : on entend d'une chambre à l'autre plutôt d'une salle de bain à ol'autre !!

Tolle Lage direkt am traumhaft schönen See. Die Holzhütten: romantisch, sauber, mit Kamin. Da kommt Trapperfeeling auf. Beim Frühstück keine europäischen Maßstäbe ansetzen.

Ambiance chalet de montagne. Très feutré. Situation exceptionnelle au pied d'un lac. Possibilités de ballades et sorties kayak, vtt sur place. Les chambres méritent une rénovation, à commencer par changer les moquettes !

le service de chambre (nettoyage etc,) n'a pas été fait pendant 2 jours consécutifs, malgré une réclamation après le premier de ces 2 jours. "manque de personnel" (!) selon la direction, "oublié" (!) selon le responsable du housekeeping. Une ristourne ridicule de 2 fois 20$ en guiuse de compensation...

Bon séjour le seul regret le breakfast était compris mais malheureusement nous n'avons pas pu le prendre car il n'y avait personne por le service les heures données etaient de 7h 30 à 9h30 et il était 8heures ,comme excuse la personne vous dira peut-être que ce jour il y avait eu de la neige,petite excuse pour une station de sport d'hiver. Mais bon accueil, mme Marie

Paraje impresionante en medio de las montañas. Se respira tranquilidad y sosiego. Nosotros estuvimos en el hotel, en una habitación impresionante, toda de madera, muy confortable. Fue una de las mejores experiencias que tuvimos de nuestro viaje a EEUU.
