Carpet wasn't great. Need new carpet.
The staff was very helpful and pleasant.
The carpets dirty and lamps covered with dust. Needs a good clean.
Room size and nearness to airport.
Just that the rooms needed to be updated, but you could tell the property just switched management.
The manager took her time to explain the different areas & since I was looking to move she even connected me with a property management company she knew about.
Leaky toilet and shower. Roaches.
Very run down and in need of remodeling!
The shower head was good.
Saw a few things didnt like,
Did like the breakfast
Everything! I didnt sleep bc I didnt want to even touch the bed..it was disgusting & filthy... Stains on the carpet... A trashcan right outside my door & at almost $80/night I wouldve much rather rented a car and slept in a parking lot..thats how awful it was! There was no manager on duty just the night auditer & a security personnel who were very nice and tried to help me when I showed them the pix of the bugs and the many pieces of tissue with mashed bug guts on them but there was nothing they could do to help me..the room was in the way back of the building, I didnt feel safe walking to it alone w/ all of luggage..the manager wasnt going to be in until 9am (I didnt make it to the hotel until 1am & had to leave for work at 6am) so I didnt even get the chance to express my horrible experience to the manager. It was awful. Never again wil I stay at an econolodge.
Having a shuttle from the airport but even that took over an hour to pick me up
Bad experience only in sense that the breakfast was not good, the motel is in a depressed area, and the condition of the facilities is poor.
Location near airport.
This hotel is good for a one night stay. My family and I stayed here for a few days. First I booked a two bed plus a sofa bed. That was not what I was given. Then when I called down the frontdesk lady was not trying to work with me. She told me I could rent the roller bed for $11 a night. Then the air condition unit had it's issues and we felt like we were going to die it was so hot.. We were on the top floor. Called down again she exclaimed that their was nothing she could do.. thank GOD my Husband did something to it and it started working. The following morning I went to talk to the manager about the bed situation she gave us the roller bed for free. BUT it had blood stains. Like why did you not scrub that out.. LAST BIT SURELY NOT LEAST THE FIRST NIGHT WE ONLY HAD 2 TOWELS IN A ROOM WITH TWO BEDS WHICH is standard 4 towels. We called down for more towels. NO ONE CAME tO BRING us more towels.
the location is good if you are going to a football game or the baseball game
Room was dirty. Surroundings were littered with trash. There were bugs in our room. Vending machines were not where we were told they were. Broken tiles in bathroom and tub was dirty.
floor was not clean around the sink area
The second and last night the ice machine was not working :-(
Close to airport Warm breakfast (scrambled eggs) Microwave and refrigerator in room
I like old motels with rooms opening on outside corridor; and our room looked out onto little pond behind next door Holiday Inn.
It was cheap $79-89; the linens were clean, and did not smell of detergent; the rugs needed cleaning (matted), but otherwise clean; the TV was not flat screen, so ok, but reception was poor; wi-fi was free, but did not work in rooms at all; the breakfast was free, and the orange juice was decent.
It was out of date. For example, not too many plugs in the room. It was tedious to charge my devices.
The wireless internet did not work.
Convenient location... For my trip. I could walk to the ballpark.
It wasn't on fire at least. That would have made it worse.
Roaches in the room
What didn't I like - where to begin....this is a very old property that has probably never been updated - carpet had many stains, sheers over air conditioning unit was flithy, coffee machine (with decaf only) was in bathroom, walls were scraped, lamp shades were stained, bed comfortable enough but the three pillows were small and thin/lumpy. Room smelled of chlorine, so I know it had been cleaned but the uncleanliness was not of a 'daily clean' variety. Outside property itself was also unsightly. We took this booking because we had a flight cancellation and needed a room close to airport for one night and it was March Break and nothing else was available - otherwise I would have checked out immediately after seeing our room. I know this only has a 2-star rating, so I didn't expect lots of 'extras', but I did expect a cleaner property.
Location very close to airport and two stadiums excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Main building for registering, small sitting area, breakfast room OK...but deceiving with respect to rest of property and actual rooms.
Breakfast options are very limited. Pillows could be better.
had 2 go to desk 2 get bath towels, toilet paper. dresser drawers broken. housekeepers couldn"t speak or understand english
Poor room quality, lack of effiecient transportation overall property and grounds poorly maintained, there is not attention to gross or minor details, no bathroom linens in the room the staff. smoking smelling room with a menthol over tone for room deodorizer The pool, I would not consider or recommend getting in
The light breakfast was the fine.
Had to put up toilet seat to be able to open the bathroom door, Room clock alarm didn't work. Rooms had that musty cheaper hotel smell -- we aired out and it was fine for a night. We would stay here again, as shuttle and price were pluses.
Shuttle to airport, front desk person friendly, unofficially opening breakfast early for those of us waiting for a 6 am shuttle, shower was excellent.
The room stunk of cigarettes. There prostitutes all around the complex. Our next door neighbors who seemed to live in the room ended up in a physical fight at 1am with banging on the walls and a dog barking.
