My first stay here was in 2010 because of the location at Tampa Airport. Now in 2013, I returned the upgraded touches. The pillow top mattress was amazing! Thanks, La Quinta!!!

Very friendly staff!!!

Lots of packaging and garbage with breakfast...

Good location near airport, and still easy to get everywhere in Tampa. They were kind enough to let me check in early; the room was very clean at check in and well maintained during my stay.

Hauling my suitcase up and down stairs was awkward. Exterior entrances weren't very well lit at night, lending a slightly 'sketchy' feel to the overall feeling. "Breakfast" is too big a word for what is offered...but IHOP is just a walk across the parking lot.

The staff was great and very helpful.

Proximity to good restaurants and access to the airport was excellent

We loved the decor, comfort of the beds, super friendly staff, convenience of offering breakfast, close to place of business, shopping and lots of food options. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

This hotel is very close to the airport and the business I had. It is very reasonable for the price compared to other pricier hotels close to the airport. There is a mall that is very close and some restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast provided free in the morning and free wifi.

Not a glamorous place but very satisfactory for the price.

Bathrooms need upgrade, mold on ceiling, tile floors & door need to be replaced.

The breakfast was horrible - Most of the food was pre processed and in packets. In shear disbelief, even individual slices of bread were provided in pre processed plastic packets. The only thing fresh (although sceptical) was boiled eggs.

Location and value for money

Is very clean, the shuttle is great, the location is very good. I stayed 3 days with my 4 years old son and I was verry happy. Is a verry good hotel for pre cruise.

The room had an old smell when you enter the room.

I requested a non-smoking room. The room I got was a smoking room that reaked so much I didn't want to stay in it. The front desk person came by with room deodorizor which helped for 5 mins. or so, but the smell remained and got in my clothing and hair. I asked for another room but there wasn't one, plus there was no elevator so it is NOT handicap-accessible other than a choice of a 1st floor.

We selected this hotel for the ease of getting to the airport.

We liked everything.

We thought the room was spacious enough, clean, comfortable with pleasant surroundings. The pool is an added bonus. The breakfast was fine. Location to airport is good. The price is right!

Shuttle to airport

Beds were terrible. Internet service was poor; constantly kicked me offline.

The staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. They were very well informed about the location and nearby services. The facilities were simple and very clean and comfortable. I would absolutely stay again!

The start time of the airport shutte. One trip earlier would he excellent to accommodate guests who have 6 am flights.

Perfect location to get a good, comfortable night's sleep before an early flight.

The location was nice especvially since there was an ihop right in next to the building. We did a mini vacation to Busch Gardens with our two little girls and it served it purpose.

The room was smaller than we anticipated. The bathroom sink backed up with the worse smelling water, it was disgusting. The fridge in the room was too small and was not cold at all. The a/c unit did not work very well, thank goodness it ws chilly that weekend. Although this was a pet friendly hotel, ther were no dog walking areas, only shabby over ran with vine areas that had zero grass. We will not be staying at La quinta again. Especially since the Hyatt was right behind our hotel, we shoud hace just stayed there.

Excellent price, staff very helpful, close to shopping malls. Cleaning was well done.

rooms a little stuffy and noise from airport - however both of these were not major issues and we knew we would get airport noise.

I had book a room with two beds and when I arrived they had given my room away and all they had was a king bed... a bit uncomfortable for a father and hs teenage daughter.
