Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina    

We had such a restful stay, we were there for our nieces graduation and the hotel was hopping. The hotel and it's staff still managed to keep the environment festive yet peaceful. We would gladly come back again!!!

Location was great for us as went to see a hockey game so right across the street from arena

No free Wifi...they charged for it and in this day and age it's unacceptable. Just a money grab and the hotel is already way over priced. Also for a luxury hotel, was surprised to not see any robes in hotel room.

I liked the location and it was very clean

did not like the bed or the pillows. very uncomfortable.

Hotel location & overlooking water.

Valet is only hotel parking option at $22+tax+expected tip/day . After 25 min wait, valet hit another car with our car & left a 2 ft gash that they didn't mention & luckily I saw b/c it was our last day. Valet is contracted out & not through Marriott but Marriott took off the valet fee & gave us a free night & apologized. I had to get the front desk manager in order to get paperwork filled out & took pictures & were told we'd be contacted in 3 days. It's been more than 3 days & no contact yet. Starbucks employees are very rude!! Didn't close out pool bar tab after ordering one glass of wine & was charged for 2. As Marriott rewards member Wifi is free but front desk tells you to accept charges for access & will be removed from bill - was charged & had to contact hotel to remove, which they did. Waitress at Champions bar in hotel recommended 3 kiddie scoops of ice cream for our kids & charged us $21 for them - told waitress that was offensive & her response was ice cream is expensive here & did nothing. We have stayed with Marriott for years & typically have great experiences. We stayed a week & for the price we paid the water view & hotel is beautiful but the experience was very poor.

I enjoyed my stay and will stay here again next time I am in the Tampa area.

Had a great time. Me and my wife was on this trip. Loved the location, staff, valet and restaurant was very good food and service. We will be back.

The beds in our room had Very hard mattresses and I did not sleep well nor did my husband

The hot tub was closed, just because it was a little windy... Cmon, you gotta work it out. When is Marriott going to realize that they lose customers to Hilton on free wifi policy ?

Bed was comfy and bedspread was so soft - loved sleeping there!

The lobby/front door staff and the buffet staff were all tremendous. Knowledgeable about things to do or see during our first trip (with a day and a half stop-over in Tampa).

We enjoyed the morning breakfasts but definitely will find out about a meal plan next stay. Very nicely decorated for the Christmas season.

We were in room 2307 2 rooms away from the elevator and we constantly would hear the elevator going up and down during the night.

friendly,helpful but mind you I tipped very well for everything that was done for me. The bell hops stood there waiting for his hand out when bringing my luggage to & from for my daughter & myself. I thought this to be very unprofessional.

I feel it was definatley over-priced for what I needed. I guess I expected more for the $$$

good for the Convention centre but slightly isolated

I came for a weekend wedding. The accomodations were excellent and the staff more that friendly and helpful. It was the weekend of the Boat Poker Run, therefore was very very noisy. The wedding was outside by the bay/20 or so feet from the wedding set -up and it made hearing the service rather difficult as the vows were made just as the boats returned from their "runs". This did not however take away from the events later in the evening. Your staff is wonderful, the events staff is their equal.

I would have thought that the events planner could have alerted the parties to the other activities planned for the day. A wedding at 5:30pm, pool area side, and the boat activities did not go hand in hand. My room on the l2th floor (l2l7) immediately above the set-up of the wedding and the coming and going all day of the boats was subject to both events. My stay, however, was delightful.

Nothing would prefer a "Hilton Hotel" any day more value for money and better facilities.

An absolute rip off hotel they charge extra for everything wifi (usd 18.95/day), breakfast (usd 24.00/day), parking (usd 22.00/day) exorbitant charges for phone calls, a money making machine a bunch off "Bandits", dubious representation 3 star facilities and bleed you dry with 5 star charges. Checked in at usd 112.00 day rate checked out paying a bill of usd 146.00 + usd 79 with Taxes and extras. Total usd 225.000 for one night. Will never stay at a Marriott again "no value for money".

The staff was extremely helpful and upbeat. They were effective, courteous, and personable while still very professional.

Lack of free internet in the guest rooms. Significant cost of parking and the lack of a complementary shuttle to the airport.

We were very comfortable. Great beds! Lovely view over the Marina and pool. Service was excellent. Would suggest a mini bar in the room. We had an excellent stay and the conference facilities were excellent.

My car came back from valet parking with three dents on the trunk left by someone putting a suitcase on it I suspect. Could not complain because we had to leave in a hurry.

Aanbod voor ontbijt en dinner was miserabel meestal was er geen eten meer en werd het niet bijgevuld ook al was het nog vroeg. Dinner als er iets was een beetje kaas en wat rauwe dip groente gefrituurde snaks dat noem ik geen dinner benedeneen hamburger gehaald en weggegooid niet eetbaar slecht.

Etablissement ancien , meubles anciens. Dans le lobby très bruyant, dans les bars, pubs et dans le lobby. Pas de coin calme. L'hôtel est ancien et mal entretenu.

Buen locacion derca de Tampa Bay Tribune auditorium.

Es increible cuando esta pagando como $200 por un habitacion que Marriott esta cargando $15 mas por internet. En Clearwater yo page' $150 en Holiday Inn por un habitacion con balconia con vista del mar y internet es libre.

Flotte rom og bygning. God størrelse pool. Flere restaurant tilbud. Alt i alt veldig flott hotell.

Det som manglet og som andre hoteller hadde var gratis skyss til shopping sentre, adekvate moderne pc tilgjengelighet.

Lage am Wasser war sehr schön.

Der "normale"Preis mit ca. US 360.- für eine Übernachtung wäre im Verhältnis zu hoch gewesen. Dank dem Rabatt von 55% wurde der Preis nun plötzlich sehr gut. Somit ist die Frage unten (Punkt 4) nur bedingt richtig
