The beds were comfortable and the staff was great.
The walls were too thin had very loud people on both sides you could hear every conversation so it made it hard to sleep. Also every time they opened and closed their doors the walls and pictures would shake. Was not what I expected, especially for what I paid.
Very nice stay, comfortable bed. Looked newly updated. Quiet.
Very Comfortable. Staff was courteous. Please note: there is not a choice for adult child and parent...
The phone in the room did not work. (But the bathroom phone did work).
The first room had mold around the bathtub. The second room had 1 lumpy comforter, 2 urine stained chairs & 1 cockroach sitting on a chair. Front desk then told us this hotel failed inspection & they spray for cockroaches on a regular basis. One cockroache is enough reason not to stay there. Would never recommend this location & am having second thoughts about any Hampton Inn location or Hilton (who owns this chain) in general.
the large bar od soap
for this being a Hampton I felt the bathroom facilities were out dated the bath tub should be replaced along with the shower curtins
Close to 2 good restaurants. Not in a crowded area, which appealed to us. Easy to find. Good breakfasts, clean, pleasing atmosphere. They have a weekday wine and beer hour with chips and salsa, which was a nice perk.
We could hear music from a room nearby.
Great hotel, facilities, breakfast cookie cutter (needs update)
Nothing about hotel or location. Using Kayak would not allow me to utilize my military discount. Won't be using Kayak again
Pool kinda dirty
The hotel needed updated. The rooms were old. The bathroom was not good for this price of hotel. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet. The tub had mildew and tons of caulking. The towels were old. The chair and ottoman were worn and dirty. I wouldn't want to sit in it. The elevator did not work one of the days we were there. The breakfast was not good; just cheap bread products. I was disappointed that I paid as much as I paid for an old run down hotel. I will not stay there again.
Front of desk staff very friendly, got upgraded at no cost due to confusion over bed arrangements.
Good breakfast Friendly staff Quiet
Wifi kept kicking out No microwave or fridge
Liked the cleanliness. No offending smells . The overall good feeling from a wellrun motel.
Mattress too soft
They had clean rooms with wonderful pillows and the bedding was great.
The dish in our room would not work. They hD us re-set the receiver. After doing that we left for dinner, 3 hours later it still was re-setting. We ended up having to switch rooms at 10 instead of when we first told them of our issue.
Nice indoor pool for kids, satisfactory breakfast,
Little far out from the square in Taos, was there for two nights WIFI was down entire time.
The lights were off one side of the Hampton sign so we had trouble finding the hotel at night. The parking lot lights were turned off and the Wi-Fi didn't work. The staff was polite but clueless.
First off you had to push your way through the front door of the room it stuck so bad. Then in the bathroom the mirror was cracked and the tub stop would not stay up, so when you took a shower you where in 6 inches of water by the end. But the worst part was the window. They placed us on the ground floor, on a street access. The window did not shut all the way, would not lock, and had no screen. All night long the wind blew threw the window. The howling was so bad we asked to switch room with no luck and where stuck in the room for the night. We where told we would get a refund for the room but have not seen that yet either.
The indoor pool was great and the location was perfect, right in the middle of town.
The pool was cold and whirlpool wasn't working. The staff should dress more professional not like they are at home.
Pool was cold. Bathtub was worn. Staff was poorly dressed.
Hampton Inn always provides an ample breakfast and spacious rooms.
We had several problems with our room. That said, the hotel manager rectified the situation and also provided us with a free night's stay.
Poor value for the cost. Dirty and run down looking. Mold in the shower.
Our confirmed reservation could not be found. Don't know if Hampton or Bookings was at fault.
Indoor pool area had a odor that was so off putting to our grand daughter that she would not use the pool.
Everything was fine until the power and water went out.
The manager said we would not be compensated for our room at all because she had no control over loss of power or water. We know for a fact that the water was not unavailable through out the town like the power was I thought it very short sighted on her part. We had no water for over 3 hrs long enough for me to concider driving home that night.
Their complimentary breakfast was excellent. They had a wide selection, including hot foods that were all tasty. I also really appreciated their coffee and tea bar that was free and always available conveniently located at the front entrance. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
