The pool was beautiful and all staff members were very helpful and friendly. If I needed anything, the owner or one of his staff was eager and willing to help.
we only stayed for one night but the room was very clean and comfortable. The only downfall was bathroom size it was a shower not a tub and not enough space from toilet to shower. Rooms need a bit of renovation. Other than that. Great stay would definatly stay again.
Didn't dislike anything.
Staff helpful Coffee maker & fridge in room; what more could you ask for??
Limited breakfast; Hard boiled eggs & more fruit would be nice. Construction & repairs started early
The best location near The Jewish Home for The Aging, and within 0.5 miles of Avis car rental agency.
Tarzana Inn pretty much provided what I requested which was a "quiet" location. I was able to focus on the purpose of the trip.
Can't turn off 'info'mercials or change channels on TV.
Location is excellent. Right near our favourite sushi restaurant in the world and across from Ross! Upscale bedding and towels!
We've been staying at Tarzana for the past four years once a year and always got a special rate to stay the week. This time we were told that because of the new owners we could not get our special rate. We were not warned that there would be be (and was) construction all day long, very noisy and dusty! They tried to charge us more for our daughter when she came to stay one night. In the end they didn't. The rooms are on the small side, not much room to move around. The price was high, especially given the construction. The owners were not around. Sorry Tarzana, but you've lost us!
The shower head need new unit
This hotel is in need of a serious renovation. Rooms were dirty, walls were scratched, and to top it off, there was a sweater left in the room on the floor which is an indication of how well the room was cleaned. Overall, thumbs down.
Nice, clean, comfortable
Close to friends
There were no dislikes,
Very good value
Check out is strictly at 11 am
Area is good The Inn badly needs renovation. Lots of shopping & decent restaurants
Price on quoted on Booking.com was different than @ Tarzana Inn Linen & Towels need replacing Smoking in front of the rooms Noise (Car Stereo) from the Parking lot Limited Boring breakfast, bad coffee
This is an Inn, not a resort. It's close to many attractions. Well lit parking and a decent free breakfast. The pool looked nice. Decent neighborhood. The staff was friendly and accommodating. For the price you can't beat it.
Staff was so nice. Beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows. Room was clean and plenty of free parking. The Cafe next door is excellent. We wold definetly recommend this hotel for travelers on a budget who still desire clean, safe accommodations. We were very pleased with our stay.
We had no complaints for the price and location. Great place!
Stayed there for four days including NYE with my mom and we have no complains
Nothing. It was a very good place
It was a clean atmosphere
The Staff members should have wear a uniform; especially those on the front desk. It is important that the staff members look more professional.
nice clean hotel in a great location for us. breakfast was fine, and the coffee at 6:30 am was nice.
Clean, has some upgrades, breakfast offered, prices are fair, comfortable beds, nice toiletries, cute old-school pool, up-graded lobby, plenty of free-parking.
The front desk people tried to stick me in the WORST room ever, #118, on the bottom floor, facing the parking lot. I declined it, as I was a single woman travelling alone and I told them that it was not a safe room to be in, with the windows facing a dark parking lot. I cannot imagine why they would even consider putting a single, female guest on the bottom floor in a room that faces a parking lot. THAT really surprised me. Also, they didn't say thank you to me upon check out, which I thought was odd.
The room was very dirty. Grated and seasoned carpet. Old ragged furniture. Dirty linen. Bad housekeeping. Slow Wi-Fi. Noisy.
The staff was very friendly and they offer breakfast. Conveniently located and I felt pretty safe walking down the street at night. They have well lit parking lot that I felt comfortable leaving car parked.
My room didn't have a tub..... Not that big of a deal but I don't normally come across shower only rooms.
It was a long drive in traffic to get to places of interest.
Clean Friendly staff Value for money
location is a bit in the middle of nowhere, but next to the 405
There are signs from the city all over the hotel saying that there are chemicals in that facility that can cause cancer. It says that you can get information about it on the front desk. The front desk pretends not knowing what one is talking about . Just at my leave he came after me with a copy of letter what the chemicals are. They should get their place fixed and an honest staff.
There was no hot water at all.
