Tecopa Hot Springs Resort  

Its location. Accessible other places of interest in the desert; like, Death Valley, China Date Farm, Ash Meadow Wild Life Reserve and associted hikes possible particularly at this time of the year. Bistro on the premises had good food. Very pleasant cheff and the waitress. Wish they had beer/wine license

Bathroom needs more towel hangers. One bedroom window and kitchen windows were missing screens. So could not keep the mosquitos away. Kitchen burners were not efficient

The resort was very clean, and the food at the on site bistro excellent. The location was perfect for star gazing and staff were very friendly. Definitely not a place if you are looking for night life but a quiet spot to see the stars and visit Death Valley.

It was quiet and peaceful. At night the view of the stars was unbelievable. .

The place was very run down there was only 2 of the 4 baths open and they were in desperate need of repair. We ended up going up the street to the Paradise Resort up the street and paying to use there hot springs. Also the $89 a night became $115 a night when we checked in. I will not stay there again. We are planning to go back next month and staying at Paradise Hot Springs Resort.

Tecopa is an amazing quirky little spot on the planet. The hot springs are wonderful, and people are super friendly. Its the perfect place for the traveler who wants to experience an authentic, non-pretentious place of natural beauty off the grid. Tecopa Hot Springs Resort is a convenient place to stay with a super comfortable bed. Very rustic, no luxuries, no shower or fridge in our simple cottage room. Good price and very clean. Private hot spring baths at the hotel are lovely.

Windows didn't open in our room. (Would have preferred fresh air over AC). It would be nice if there was a place to purchase coffee/tea and simple breakfast in town!

we didn't have enough time to fully enjoy it. What time we spent there was GREAT.

The proximity of the hot pools to our room. Staff recommended the Bistro for dinner and the Crowbar for breakfast. We enjoyed both very much and we liked the laid back atmosphere of the location.

Bath wS lovely, great walk in the morning and great to be in the simplicity of the place.

Beds not so comfortable; would have liked to know the bistro was open as it sure looked great.

I liked that we had a tub connected to our room.

The water was not warm enough. The tub was dirty. There was a pubic hair in the tub which totally ruined it for me.

the only thing it has was hot springs, rooms were sparse, the origional room i had reservered smelled very bad, had to get another room. nothing was open past 5;30pm we would'nt have been able to get ffesh towels if we wanted to since we got back after 5;30

Well it was where it should have been.

Our room was unacceptable. One fridge (not working) was absolutely black with mould and filth. The bathroom was dirty and unusable, there was no sink to wash in, but we could not wash anyway because the water was straight from the spring, I think, it stank of sulphur and was completely unusable for anything. We had to buy water to wash and clean our teeth. We booked at 58 pounds for two nights and the price was 94 dollars a night, so was a real ripoff. We expected simple, that was clear on bookings web site, but we did not expect squalid. For some reason the bookings email had not arrived at the hotel. We travel a lot worldwide with bookings and have never before had to complain about anything. We would like the money back for the second night, which we could not possibly stay for. The fold down bed was the final straw.

wir sind zuerst bei diesem "Hotel" vorbeigefahren, weil wir es als solches nicht erkannt haben - wir waren dann überrascht wie liebevoll dieses Haus hergerichtet ist, besonders das Bad im heißen Quellwasser, war dann sehr angenehm im nebenan liegenden "Bistro" kann man ausgezeichnet essen sehr gute Lage für die Besichtigung des Death Valley

Aucun accueil. Ni wifi, ni télé, ni cafetière. Impossible d'avoir un petit déjeuner. '

Savoir apprécier le calme qui y reigne ainsi que le soleil couchant.

Rien! Ce n'est pas un hôtel mais bien une sorte d'auberge de jeunesse beaucoup trop chère. Passez votre chemin! Un trou perdu au milieu de nul par.

Hôtel vraiment minable. 106,00$ pour une nuit. Chambre minimaliste, propreté plus que douteuse, voisinage semblable à une décharge publique. Le bain d'eau minérale est une vrai farce. Des cernes de peaux mortes tout le tour du bain et à peine plus grand qu'une baignoire résidentielle. La pièce ou est placée le bain est vraiment mal propre. Aucun service, pas de restauration ni de café, pas de commerce ou de restaurant à moins de 15 km.

星が綺麗でした。ホテルの前が見渡す限り平原（塩田？）と山の稜線のコントラストが綺麗でした。

家族で２部屋予約したのですが、別棟になってしまったのが、ちょっと不便でした。シャワーの水の排水状態が- 悪かったので、次に入る人が待つような状態でした。

Motel simple idéalement placé à l'entrée de la Death Valley. Perdu au milieu de nul part et c'est super agréable. Le must: Notre chambre donnait directement sur le Spa (source d'eau chaude)! Nous avons pu en profiter en toute tranquillité.

Nous sommes arrivés sur place en début de soirée et l'accueil était fermé. Heureusement que nous avons remarqué la petite enveloppe à notre nom sur la porte! Les indications étaient claires mais on aura donc croisé personne de l'hôtel suite à un départ le lendemain matin avant l'ouverture de ce même accueil. Il ne faut donc pas avoir de problème sur place.... Pour la restauration, il n'y a pas beaucoup de choix mais je recommande tout de même (bien que je le trouve un peu cher)

Les mini piscines d'eau de source à 40°C en accès libre. Le décor exceptionnel style Bagdad café en plus paumé. L'impression de vivre au milieu de rien, avec des caravanes autour. La proximité de la Death Valley.

Un motel simple mais agréable et avec acces a un spa, dans notre cas situe juste a cote de notre chambre et donc privatisable. Frigo dans la chambre. Restau sympa sur place. La proximite avec la Vallée de la mort et avec Las Vegas, uanlieu en plein desert assez etonnant; la proximite avec le China Ranch.

Pas de possibilite de petit dejeuner car aucun lieu pour cela a Tecopa (le restau ne faisant pas de petit dejeuner) et pas, non plus, de café dans le motel. Donc obligation d'aller a Shoshone qui est a une dizaine de miles.

Lage optimal, um früh im Death Valley zu sein, mitten in der Wüste, "Ort" besteht aus diesem Motel/Cabins/Campingplatz und noch zwei weiteren. Kein anonymes Kettenhotel, sondern für Individualisten. Spektakulärer Sonnenuntergang, gutes Abendessen.

Zimmer im Motelbereich einfachst und nicht besonders sauber, Klimanlage sehr laut, Strom und fließendes (Quell-) wasser ja, sonstiger Komfort (Telefon, TV, Fön, Möglichkeit zu Frühstücken/Kaffee etc.) nein. Abendessen nur von Do-So, nächste Möglichkeit in Shoshone (8 Meilen weg) sah nicht so vielversprechend aus, Pahrump (30 meilen) dito.

Non accueil déroutant. Nous étions sur le point de repartir quand nous avons vue une petite envelope à notre nom épingle sur le mur du lobby au milieu d'autre information. De notre arrivée à 17h jusqu'à notre départ le lendemain 10H nous n'avons vue personne. Pas de réseaux GSM ni Wifi.

Pas télé... Pas internet fonctionnel... Pas téléphone en cas d'urgence... Pas de papier mouchoir...à 17:00 aucun réceptionniste... Pas de restauration dans le coin (8 milles)... Nous étions les clients

Jedem Gast stehen mehrere Whirlepools zur Verfügung. Außerdem gab es kalt gestelltes Wasser, was bei der Hitze gut ankam. Für die Durchreise okay, wenn auch etwas abgelegen. Die Gegend rund um das Gebäude fühlt erinnert schon stark an das Nachbartal Death Valley. Vor Scorpionen und Echsen sollte man keine Angst haben, wobei die Tiere nicht giftig sind. Aber man wird darauf hingewiesen, dass man nicht Barfuß laufen soll.
