Nothing not to like
I love this Hotel when I come back I will book my stay at the Texas Star.
One of our rooms (1 of 2) had really bad mattresses.
The 3.99 breakfast and the friendly staff
I was told a security guard would be checking the room after our stay. We checked out and it took awhile before we were told we would get the money back. Casino very very smokey.
One small restaurant that had sea food at a reasonable price.
convenient location, ample parking, easy access to the room
No coffee pot or fridge in the room for people staying longer than 3 days. Free drinks when gambling where far and few between. Wait time for free drinks was 20 minutes or longer.
Breakfast was good. Had the right amount of busy and quiet Nice and clean
Cinema, bowling, gambling all in one place. Loved it
Staff were awesome!
The activities available.
Location was further from the strip than originally thought but minor problem.
Cinema and Starbucks within your hotel? Yes please!
King size bed and pillows! Being able to roll out of bed and walk over to the buffet! Lots of games to choise from and the down stairs bowling alley.Parking was not a problem.
shower sucks, no pressure at all
large room large bathroom great morning buffet and dinner for nothing I mean only $6 something, food are great and fresh egg omlet
It was not in the best part of town, but it was very close to the sights that we wanted to see in Las Vegas, which made our travels easier.
the location. You have to drive to get to the city centre
Nice, clean, inexpensive place
The beds were very uncomfortable.Felt like I was sleeping on a plastic mattress. My room wasnt cleaned one day and out of the 4 days we spent there, my room was never vacuumed.
I liked the family friendly atmosphere
Restaurants inside the hotel
Smoking floor clearly had smokers, I even informed management, but nothing was done. No in room coffee maker. Few too many people in wife beaters and pants that needed pulling up, but they were in the casino, not the hotel. We are at the hotel buffet and while the selection was decent, the quality was not.
Clean rooms, plenty of restaurants.
One day of our visit house keeping did not come, we were told the water in the rooms would be off from 12:00 till 2:00pm so we left but expected to return to a room with fresh towels, etc. I had to call after hours for fresh towels.
I was able to get a fridge for my son's medication and a microwave, he has over 70 food intolerances/allergy's so I have to bring a lot of the foods he eats
Typical casino with smokers. Why don't they ban smoking in casinos?
Very pleasantly surprised with the room which was very nice. Free parking on site.
i hated that i had to leave after to nights
I liked that every machine i sat at won. It's nice to be a winner for once.
Borderline location, but near shops
Rooms were dirty out dated needed repairs casino was dirty never saw a waitress food was over priced.
Not much. At all.
The beds were a bit hard and we had a few roaches in our room. The hotel plumbing had a few issues.
The staff was very friendly. The overall comfort of the hotel was good.
suspicious package left by elevator, security staff deemed it as trash but was not removed for 1 day.
hallwayabalwayavsmell like pot very noisy at 3 am people yelling in halls no coffee pot no extra towels as requested sought unless free ill stay here again room av didn't work also
we did enjoy the gaming but the rest of the night was horrible when we went back to our room and we had the buffet thebfood was cold and nasty coffee was so strong had chemical taste waiter was nice
Front desk staff was rude. The rooms had no refrigerator and drinks were way over priced! The casino you couldn't win in they are making a killing taking your money! The wifi didn't work for 2 of 3 days until I called the help desk and manually set all devices using my ip addresses!
There are plenty of places to eat and the rooms were roomy and clean. They have a 60 lane bowling alley and it was reasonable and a movie theatre a bit pricey but on property. There was a food court. Very convenient and wal mart across the street.
