The cost efficiency and location are great. We have been coming down every January for the past 7 years for our anniversary escape weekend.
No heat in hallways makes for very cold long walk to indoor pool
Room was large. lots of closet space
Hot Tub was dirty. Drinking glasses were very dirty.
easy access to room
CFL (Compact florescent lights) in the lobby and breakfast area. They're cold, unwelcoming and harsh.
Toilet running all the time. Only half the jets in the hottub worked. Felt like something was biting you when you slept in bed!
Cheap, breakfast included.
Easy to hear other guests through the wall.
The hot tub, the up stairs down stairs thing, location
Needs a renovation
Overall good stay. Great location. Staff was friendly. It is an old hotel, but is reasonably priced.
Old pizza was found in the microwave.
The location was perfect for the purpose of our stay which was to visit our daughter that's stationed there. The facilities were clean & had what we were looking for. Would stay again.
The only complaint I have is that they wouldn't let my daughter check in early for me due to her age. The hotels here in NY allow age 18 to check and was a little upset by this.
Rooms were nice and big and very comfortable.
Value. Room was clean. We looked at pool looked clean great but we didn't use it because our stay was only for the night and hours we were there it was closed.
large rooms breakfast wifi location
older, worn rooms, broken window, hallway smelled like smoke, had to walk in the rain to the breakfast area
2 bedrooms and space Internet in the room was a pleasant surprise plenty of towels and hot water attentive reception person
tired public areas/rudimentary breakfast/no shower in 2nd bathroom
Big room, with frigo, Microwaves and coffe machine. Very goos instalations
Internet was down some cable channels not available.
The location and room was clean price was good
Really needs upgrade carpets old tiles loose in the bathroom you can tell it has not had an update for a very long time
I ran in the Cape Cod Half Marathon and was really sore afterwards. The staff was so nice to let me check out a few hours later so I could rest. I really appreciated the hospitality and will come back here.
I didn't like that breakfast started so late (7:30 am), when an event in town (Cape Cod Half Marathon) started at 7:30 am. I would have liked to get a cup of coffee and a bagel before my race but instead had to drive to Dunkin Donuts. I also would have appreciated some mouth wash in the bathroom. Those are my only two minor complaints. Price and staff were great!
Huge room, indoor pool (though jets in hot tub didn't work), decent breakfast buffet -- includes waffles. A short (driving) distance from center of town.
Although clean, the decor does have a bit of an old feel. It's an old-school type motel. But we were perfectly satisfied. I was expecting a real "cheap motel" since the prices were considerably lower than other properties -- I have stayed in such cheap motels, so I am familiar with them. This was far better, for reasons mentioned in "what did you like" plus overall comfort.
We liked the location. Loved the jacuzzi in room
Refrigerator was loud. Tv small. Our first visit was our honeymoon 15yrs ago an we were excited to spend our anniversary years later but disappointed that there wasn't any upgrades to the room...
That pool outside was still available to sit around & it was the 3rd wked of Oct. I like sitting outside even if it's too chilly to swim, can only sit indoors so long before going stir crazy
Breakfast was only till 10am, how 'bout till 11am
Location and the room had enough space for us. Free breakfast but the milk was sour and no fresh fruit.
The room needed many repairs. Lots of broken and tattered areas/furniture in the room. But it was clean.
I left my comforter/quilt by accident, and called back later that day to see if they could keep it so I could stop and pick it up on my way back down the Cape. They were supposed to call me back because they said nobody in housekeeping turned it in yet. I know for fact it was left on the bed that morning. Nobody ever returned my call so I called back and left another message with somebody else and have still not heard back. It's now been 4 days. This quilt was very important to me.....so to me that tells me that the housekeeping service kept my blanket.
All and all it was relaxing. Just a little unsafe.
I didn't like the fact that at 2 in the morning while i'm getting up to refill some ice there was a man sleeping on the chair outside my suite door. and this was 2 nights in a row. I didn't like the fact that there were no cameras. Did not feel safe.
