The foyer is nice and location is good. Staff were helpful.
The rooms and funiture are very outdated. The place needs a revamp to match the price and luxury historic theme.
The location and comfort of the hotel.
Having to pay for parking in a separate location and not on final bill upon checkout.
My friend has celiac disease and has to bring her own food. The Adolphus provided us with a room with a microwave and small refrigerator. This really helped her.
Staff was friendly and responsive.
We paid for an upgrade and were located across from elevator. We thought we were hearing airplanes from Love Field, but realized it was the elevators.
waited for an hour to check in. Only 1 person at front desk.
Very clean, old world charm, great value for the price. The French Room restaurant was excellent.
For a hotel of this caliber we were disappointed that there were no bathrobes supplied in the room. Had to scramble a bit when room service knocked on the door.
Location Historical look of hotel - rich dark wood and antiques All the old keys on the wall behind the registration desk Easy Check-in Rodeo Bar & Grill adjacent to hotel Large room with very comfy beds & linens
No cold water in Room 1123 Even the toilet water was hot! Not enough lighting Mini fridge did not work Valet was slow-slow-slow $28 parking fee per nite
everything the people were nice and very helpful
Close to attractions in Dallas. Lobby area was inviting.
Rooms need to be updated. Bathroom had cracked glass on side table. Lamp shade beside bed had the liner hanging out. I felt it should have better upkeep for a 4 star rating.
The history and the decor of the hotel is very nice. The 'high tea' was a great experience too.
The quality of the mattress needs to be upgraded. I did not sleep well at all; I could feel the springs in the mattress. I reserved a king size bedroom and was given a queen instead. The drapes are falling apart. I requested a bathtub and got a shower stall instead.
Dinner in the French Room.
The used condom I found in the bedside table!!
First if all, it has a beautiful French decor. The building is right in the middle of town, so dining an entertainment are in walking distance. The valet are friendly and very personable.
The price to park was outrageous and was not made clear until the morning after our first night. (Front desk waved one night as a honeymoon gift to make it up). This won't stop us from visiting again in the next year!
I loved all of the character of the hotel. The staff was wonderful, valet prompt and polite. Room was very nice. Everything is within walking distance!
The pillows were alittle too soft for me as in they went completely flat. There wasn't any cold water, (that's a change isn't it?) The position of the TV was akward for viewing in bed. Little minor things that were easily overlooked!
There were thick layers of dust covering the walls Naldo a layers of dust half inch thick completely covering smoke detector. Coughing and sneezing all night. Absolutely disgusting.
Great view out window!
Didn't like having to leave,
Beautiful old hotel; worth staying at once in your life. Very large suite.
1. Room needs minor repairs just loose sink, cracked lampshade etc 2. More wastebaskets 3. We wanted to eat in the French Room but couldn't get a callback from the maitre de.
Very confortable and great localization. The staff was very gentle and helpful.
This hotel provides the Best Customer Service. From the moment we checked in til 6 days later checking out, every person that works in this hotel provided the most excellent and friendly service.
The ambience of the Hotel is awesome. You can almost hear the walls talk. Classic Hotel Neimans in walking distance as well as many eating/drinking establishments
DESPERATELY needs updating. Looks like they have plans to update...just a bit behind.
concierge were great locateion
housekeeping not that cleaned
Absolutely, loved the nostalgia of The Adolphus! Can't wait to go bck and stay with them again!
Can't complain, enjoyed my stay!
Loved the location, everybody was very friendly
The quality of the staff was impeccable. They were courteous, professional, exactly what you'd expect from an elegant old world hotel. The room was more spacious than any I've stayed in. It was a wonderful surprise. We would definitely stay here again as an in town weekend away.
VERY Rude Staff
