Loud neighbors who came in late.
We loved the hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They would help us with any query we asked in detail. The location is close to central station and Times Square is in walking distance. A great stay!!
Wifi doesn't work well, which wasnt too much of a problem for us so we just used the local restaurants when we went out for dinner.

Location was perfect , very centralized in Manhattan
The fridge was broken and not working, not enough lighting as the lamps were not working and had to stay with 2 small lamps. Informed the reception thrice about this but nothing was done.
Location was great!
Staff didn't know what to do when asked about busted safe or malfunctioning drapes. Lobby was horrible, and the gym was not to the standard. The hotel needs renovations ASAP, wall paper loosening, roof lights are busted and dangling.
Great customer service .. Room looked excellent
That I had to leave
The very loud business meeting at breakfast with the off key singer.
Price, convenience, familiarity, beds, temperature
No soap, towel rack broken, bathtub drain out of place. No TV channel guide.
Clean and comfortable furniture. Bathroom was good.
Some areas need revamping like elevator carpet. Persistent noise in some rooms, probably coming from ac equipment outside. First room wounded like a constant low speed drill was running, until I asked for a switch. Free breakfast for vegetarians was simply oatmeal. I asked for potatoes, they said they had none, but saw person near me eating some. Lots of non-HD tv channels, if you care about that.
food Quality staff services
Room appointments and size, view of the Chrysler building, pleasant breakfast staff, close to restaurants on second avenue
Only two stuffy elevators, was approached by the timeshare salespeople, no doorman, lobby has one bench that was usually occupied by the potential timeshare recruits
room was clean
shower was overcomplicated/ did not work. had to wait over 10 minutes for elevator multiple times.
It was a few blocks from Grand Central, clean, and affordable
Small, but that is to be expected in New York
Nothing good to say
Old , run down , dirty , bad location. Not close to anything. Not even a coffee pot in rooms. Cant go anywhere unless you take a cab. No parking affiliation so parking cost 55-75 per day if you park yourself . Would never stay again. Walls paper thin feels like no privacy. Save your money stay somewhere else even if it cost a little more
Helped to get taxi's and room was spotlessly clean. Excellent location and very spacious 2 bedroom apartment
Stayed for a weekend to go to a Yankee game. Easy access to get to Yankee stadium.
Took a while to get the in-room DVD player set up.
Location-Close to Empire State Building, Grand Central Station, Chrysler, UN Building and subway. Floor 33 - open rooftop deck - fantastic view. Excellent breakfast and service. Television in the bathroom!
Reception area/lobby was small which made it seem untidy and crowded. Lifts were very slow to arrive at peak times. Charges for phone calls - very expensive rates.
Good location, but you pay the price. Nice and friendly staff.
Nothing was good. I will never visit this hotel
Had one of the 2 bedroom suites. Great view and great amenities. Good location to access everything. Lounge on the roof for a place to relax with a spectacular view of the city.
Only 2 lifts, one broken that needed fixing during the stay. It was repaired quickly and it happens but it was inconvenient. Bar downstairs was quite expensive.
Small lobby area and always crowded.
Location was excellent Big room for a city centre location.
No safe- one was delivered when requested. Towels were taken everyday (even though hung up) and not replaced. One day we ended up with no towels left and were told we had to wait until some were dried! No coffee making facilities. We requested these about 5 times and eventually got a coffee maker.
Room was big enough for 3 people and beds were comfortable. Location is perfect and central to Grand Central Station where you can catch most of the subway lines.
Not a great view. It overlooked a housing unit where there were people smoking and making noise but since we weren't in the room much it was fine.
They upgraded my room to a suite after the first night since they moved me.
They moved me to another hotel the first night I was there. This is incredibly inconvenient since my meeting was across the street from the Wyndham.
