Staff was very professional.
Comfy beds, stylish rooms and bathrooms. Attentive staff. Excellent location.
If I was being picky would have to say lack of free wifi in room
We loved the ambience of the hotel lobby, and bar area. Our room was spacious and comfortable -thanks for the offer of the upgrade. The free early morning coffee was very good. We had a lovely young lady on the desk when we checked in she was very helpful and obliging.
There is a fee to use wifi in areas other than the lobby which was disappointing. The wifi connections was intermittent which was frustrating. The young man on the night desk seemed a bit stressed - possibly with many checking - that he was off hand and unhelpful.
The location was simply ideal and the room (including the bathroom) so clean. The room amenities are very nice and modern. Will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Chicago!!!
Location was excellent for those wanting to experience downtown Chicago. Being located in the Gold Coast neighborhood is a bonus.
My reservation said I would have a queen bed. It was a full. The sheets were a wrinkled mess and the white duvet cover was literally covered with what I hope was lint. The off white headboard was stained yellow and the wallpaper was coming off the walls.
Very friendly check-in staff. Complimentary fruit was fantastic.
- extremely expensive (value for money not there) - Internet does not work properly
The wait time for the elevators was horrendous
Cleanliness Personnel helpfulness Organization Large shower
No fridge in the room
price was a bit high for Monday night
No chest for clothes No tea coffee or pot in room No tea offered downstairs just coffee No lemon for tea
food cleaning & fragrant environment rapid check in and out good location for my Chicago tour
free wifi only open at lobby althrough it is good for guests' health.
The elevators were terrible. A lot of waiting around.
Slow / absent responses of front desk to reasonable requests.
Large room was very comfortable and staff were excellent and you could not be closer to the fashionable magic mile
Location, very central. Staff very helpful. Coffee in am in foyer.
Hotel, atmosphere and location are great
Room was outdated and mattress was horribly worn making it difficult to sleep
Location, some staff.
Internet cost per device. (a kind staff provided us complimentary access)
The location was excellent!
The bathroom did not have a tub which is a must for some people like me. Also, there was only a tiny pedestal sink with no room to put toiletries.
The location is very good, particularly if you travel without a car. It is close to restaurants, public transportation, shopping, not far from theaters, museums, etc. The room was good, clean, well equipped. Staff was friendly. There was free coffee at the lobby in the morning. Good value for money.
We were charged with stuff from the room minibar we did not take. It was apparently reversed after complaining. The bed and room in general was a bit small, but still enough for our needs. The breakfast was somewhat expensive, but there are alternatives outside nearby.
Pretty big bathroom for the age of the hotel. Friendly service at check-in, nice bar staff. Valet service was super fast and friendly.
Ambulances going back and forth to the nearby hospital in the night. I heard several.
I amde this reservation for my daughter - it was her birthday and she lives in Grand Rapids and wanted to celebrate it in Chicago. Shannon was extrememly helpful in helping me make sure everything was set for my daughters trip. She sent me several e-mails assuring me that everything was set and copies of receipts etc. She even gave me a name to contact in the event there were any issues and she was not there. Her suctomer service was awesome and should be recognized!!!
There was a spider in the room. Pretty big guy. Yikes!
I liked hotel at all, but concierge Miles Shapiro helped me a lot, he was like miracle..
Location was good - right in the middle of the Magnificent Mile.
No breakfast included in the room price, unlike the majority of other places we stayed during our trip to the US. No wifi in the room. Room was very small and windows wouldn't open.
