The staff seemed disconnected and matter-of-fact
The view from the room, the comfort of the bed
Because of my age I couldn't get in, but the staff was very nicr and by passed the rule just for me
I loved the view and the bed was extremely soft.
The pillows on the bed were uncomfortable. 1 pillow was not enough and 2 pillows were too many. Personal preference but made it difficult to sleep. The bed sheets were starchy and rough against the skin. My room was close to the elevators so you heard the lifts each time someone stopped on the floor. Bar in hotel did not open until 4.30pm.
The décor was really nice and the room was a good size. The location of the hotel was very good and there was a lot of information in the room about the hotel facilities. There is an option to not use maid service and get a $10 credit to your room.
The room was extremely small. No refrigerator available in the room or at the front desk.
The location was excellent. The staff was so knowledgeable and made us feel so welcome.
Amazing location, very clean.
a bit noisy because of the gap under the door
the location, the friendliness of the staff, the room, the free wifi in the lobby
Rooms were extremely small. We didn't mind as it was only one night but I'd be disappointed if I came for a weekend.
It had a great location!!
Everything was perfect
Staff were incredibly helpful especially woman in front desk
The Wi-Fi was not complementary
The coffee was complementary
No free wifi…
Location and the size of the room!
Room, bed & bathroom were very small, not quite like pictures at Booking.com. We did not know where to put stuff. Because of an early morning flight we wanted to check out and pay the evening before. That was not possible. Inconvenient but not unsurmountable. But worse was the uninterested way of the staffmember behind the desk. His posture told us non-verbally that we were not his concern. He needed not even 10 words to tell us it was not possible and did not intend to spend more words on us than that.
Location of hotel was excellent. Friendly and helpful at information desk Free coffee near the lobby
Small bathrooms, but it's a boutique hotel in the middle of the city, so completely understandable. Just go in one at a time.
Location, location, location PLUS a Gino's East right around the corner
No wi-fi in the room
Great location, friendly staff, comparable price
With an old hotel, I expected a grand, beautiful lobby...but so much. They had a cheapy loveseat and two chairs in the lobby; very disappointed. The doormen didn't really greet you, unless you were being dropped off in a car. A couple of the bell men were very friendly and were nice enough to tell us the lobby was on the 2nd floor. The Hyatt, Sheraton or the Omni will be our choices for next time.
The location was great, but that's where the excitement ended.
The Hallway floors were filthy. There was a hair in the bathtub when we arrived. Very disgusting
Great location the
service is soso.
Location Is perfect.
no bad expirences during my stay
the room was very clean and nicely set up...the view from our room was incredible we loved it! I will definitely be returning
Did not have any bad experiences
The courteous staff. The nicely restored rooms and good food..affordable options
the charge is unreasonable !
Friendly, helpful staff, great location.
Perfect location for shopping , comfort room , historic building
Everything was good, except the fact you gotta pay for the wifi
I was furst to arrive, and the clerk at the reception desk asked if we preferred an upper or lower floor. I responded that what I preferred was the nicest room they had available, since my daughter and I were traveling 325 and 500 miles from different directions to meet in Chicago to shop for her wedding dress, that I wanted it to be a time she and I would always remember with great fondness. We were gifted with a complimentary upgrade to a gorgeous suite. This is now our favorite hotel! Everything about it is absolutely perfect, especially the staff.
Expensive to park vehicle, no discount for multiple days, bar area didnt offer specials and no coffee pot in the room.
