The Allerton Hotel Chicago, Magnificent Mile

бесплатный интернет только в лобби, в номерах за плату.

I liked the location.

The room was too small for 3 people. The elevators were too small for 3 people plus luggage. It was just way too small, even the bathroom was too small.

We used to Allerton Hotel for my friends bachelorette party. The staff was helpful and so nice. The housekeeping staff, and all the concerierge staff were amazing and so helpful. The Valet staff was also wonderful and so helpful. I did have one problem with one of the managers changing moving my hotel reservation to another hotel four days before my event and then moving me back four hours later, after I had already rearranged my itinerary. I spoke with another manager about this and I was compensated. I was very impressed with the manger and how he took the time to help me with this one inconvenience and make it right. I would reccommend the Allerton Hotel to anyone and would be happy to stay there again. Thank you for making our stay great!!

We stayed here for our honeymoon. They upgraded our bed for free which was nice.

The elevators take forever to get to your floor. The room had dirty socks left behind wonder what else they didn't clean!! Gross. They took 3 times for us to complain about the socks before I took them out myself. We even left the room for a few hours and they still weren't gone. The valet left my windows down with my keys just laying in the front seat! I mean that is just ridiculous!! The ac in the room sucks... The tv had no channels and the remote barely worked! For 150 bucks then another 50 for parking.. Not worth it!! Will never stay at the Allerton ever again!!!

No complimentary internet access -- which de facto amounts to a hidden charge. The lobby is not at the ground level, which is not really comfortable.

The location of the hotel was central and convenient for shopping and sight seeing. We could walk to many sites, if not it was usually only a short taxi ride away. The concierge was extremely resourceful and helpful. I did not record his name and unfortunately cannot remember as it was an uncommon name. It should be easy for you to identify him so please do extend our thanks again. Also, we really enjoyed our breakfasts (a la carte and buffet) every morning. The menu choices were varied and the made-to-order lattes were delicious. The morning staff in the restaurant were friendly and efficient.

The hotel is in great location close to everything. Hotel rooms are clean and staff are very helpful.

The bar is very expensive and the rooms while clean are standard. The fact you have to pay extra for Wifi in your room, is also not good, especially as so many places don't charge for it round the city..

The value of this hotel is location. The staff was friendly and helpful. 2nd level lounge was nice.

While perfectly located, this hotel is very beat up, with scuffed walls and trim and while our room was clean, the hallways were littered with debris, looked they hadn't vacuumed for several days. If items were dropped by patrons, they were simply left there. These hallways were the dirtiest I have ever seen and I have traveled extensively. It was a busy weekend and the elevators were packed so the manager let me ride down in the service elevator which I appreciated, but it was filthy and littered with trash in the corners. I booked two doubles and upon entering the room and oversize desk only allowed for about 18" of pass through from the bath to the main room. With three people it was quite a squeeze in and out. Lastly the WIFI was so slow as to be worthless yet we had to pay 9.95 a day so that was a waste. Stay in this hotel for the location only. There is absolutely nothing special here.

it nice decor and its in a good downtown location

My heating wasn't working, they didn't provide winter blanquets. i get really disappointed that i pay for that hotel i need to put all my jackets on to be warm
