Nicely decorated rooms, good sized bathroom
noisy bathroom fan should have a separate switch
It's a cute retro motel close to the Cow Palace with basic accommodations.
No place for a full breakfast near them other than fast food.
Modern furnishings, comfy bed.
Very stingy with towels.
We loved the look of the place, it was clean and well managed. It was a quiet refuge in a busy city. Staff was friendly and helpful. Washer/dryer available for use.
Wi-Fi not good in our room, so that was downside. Needed two chairs in the room for more comfort but there was just one.
Cleanliness, nicely decorated
Very uncomfortable beds. We both woke up with sore bodies!
The bed was good. Bagels and coffee in the morning ok
Cramped space cold floors. NOT a suite as advertised. Had to walk up stairs with heavy luggage. Breakfast was minimal and with no place to sit had to be taken back to little room.
breakfast hours. to early
Coffee provided for breakfast was wonderful.
- I reached the hotel at night, first I got scared, I thought it was unsafe area, but in morning I recognized that it is a nice place, also there are security cameras - Free Parking, please note, at SF parking is a headache - Friendly Staff - Breakfast: it is good although there is no lobby or seats to have the Breakfast, you will collect the items and get back to your room - Such quiet area - Good WiFi
- TV very old, no Cable channels - Rooms are bit small - Little difficult to reach
clean and beutiful
The location...off the beaten path, so quiet, but excellent access to freeways. The clean, ample sized room was pleasantly and comfortably furnished. Frig, microwave and coffee maker +++. Rustic exterior yet well maintained with ample room-side parking in safe area. No smoking in rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Sagar offered to print directions and answer driving questions.
Nice variety of breakfast food, but a little cramped in tiny lobby. Trays provided to take food back to room.
Cold shower, sandpaper towels, microwave not working, no response from office to problems
Clean. Close to bus stop for main city attractions. Good breakfast
It's close to my daughter's house
They have raised the price so that it is really not worth it.
Very helpful staff
The beds were comfortable and clean.
The "Free Breakfast" was a joke. It should be disclosed that they have continental breakfast. I was expecting eggs and bacon. The coffee was good. I'll give it that.
This is basically a motel. The "motor inn" sign has been hidden by a bush. The breakfast is very poor. The main reason is that food is placed in a tiny corner of the reception and only a very limited range of options can be accommodated. Guests must collect food using the tray available in the room (this is the reason why the pictures that advertise the hotel display a tray) and return to the room to have breakfast. However, the room has only one chair, the table was place between the fridge and the wall and only one person can sit down. Although the staff member might easily check food availability from the front desk, every day we had to call the staff for adding lacking food. Although the evacuation plan placed on the room door informs that a lobby would be available, such a lobby is simply inexistent. Staff is unfriendly. At check-out, any staff member at the front end was absent although we had to ring the bell twice. Once we realised there was a staff member in the back office, we knocked on the glass, the member looked us but continued to do his own businesses, we knocked again, and the member looked us again without paying any attention to us. The motel is in Daly City. The area lacks of restaurants and services. It is also half-an-hour driving. Public transportation require a combination of bus and metro. If you have a car, it is an acceptable option. Otherwise, you are advised to look for an alternative option. Room rate is too high for the service offered by the motel (about USD200/night).
Plenty of parking
Wi-Fy is very bad, I can not communicate with internet
Quaint and quiet
A bit far from downtown
Nice bed with good size refridgerator and microwave
No towel rack near shower. Because of dampness could have used more than 2 towels or heat lamp in bathroom. Room was alittle musty smelling.
Bus to get to SF downtown
Room too small Bathroom too small No breakfast room
Some Staff is not friendly and the breakfast is very very poor just better than nothing
We stayed here for a wedding that was nearby. The room was comfortable and cozy. It was quiet and had easy access to parking. There was a continental breakfast available, but I did not get a chance to try it since I slept in.
Bathroom a little cramped, but water pressure was excellent. TV remote didn't work well since battery cover was loose. It's a bit out of the way from the city center and you'll want to have a car since there is nothing nearby.
- Lots of space for the car. - Internet was working fine.
1) Staff was not friendly at all. I spoke the a lady named April, she was very bad. Ignoring you during 5 min, finishing her paperwork in front of you, then saying "Yes ?" 2) Shower was not working properly, water was super hot, then super cold, when you don't expect it. 3) I had no sign "Please do not disturb" in my room. So the room service kept waking me up everyday and even entered in my room when I said no. Otherwise they looked friendly. 4) The fridge is very noisy, I had to unplug it and couldn't use it. 5) I said on the first day that I wanted to pay cash, and was only giving my Visa to guarantee the payment. Lady told me that it was not a problem at all. When I checked out, the guy charged my visa and told me that I had to pay cash on the first day and it was too late. He even told me that it was my fault. 6) Because the car park is just in front of the rooms, you can expect people slamming the doors of their car at 6:30 AM. It's very hard to sleep well. 7) I was cold during the night (San Fransisco in the summer is not really hot) and I had just a small bed sheet. My advice : spend a little bit more for another hotel, and stay away from this one.
