The balcony, heated swimming pool, breakfast beside the pool. The lack of towels, and the broken bathroom

Close to the boardwalk and ocean Poor view the section that I lived in seems like the ghetto. E Both elevators weren't working. The stay was not worth the price I paid.

Right next to the Tropicana, other than that, nothing. Grotesque hooker motel vibe, no soap or washcloths provided, room was gross, paper thin walls, no water pressure, mattress equivalent to a plank of wood, and being forced into valet service in which it took an hour to get my car back at check out the next morning.

You get what you pay for clean, comfortable, convenient, accessible to everything. Elevator old and noisy, you can hear everything going on outside your room.

Nice spa and pool. Steps from the boardwalk The bathrooms in the annex were old and crappy. Pink tile and a gray tub. It was so bad I didn't want to shower. For close to $300 on a Saturday night I was very disappointed

The lobby is the nicest part of this hotel. Once you pass the lobby it's all down hill from there! Our room had no number, broken light fixtures, mini fridge was missing. It was completely awful. I could have stayed at the rodeway inn across the street for half the cost and I'm sure the room would have been nicer!

I loved how friendly and helpful the staff was to me and my friends. My group enjoyed everything about the hotel and it was at a great price. The only thing that could be different is there was no full length mirror. My friend and I were trying to get ready to go out and it was a bit upsetting that the only mirror in the whole room was a short bathroom mirror.

The staff was friendly & courteous. 1)The food at the 'diner' restaurant was bad, as well as the service being slow. 2) No bell hop avail at time of check-out. I called, waited 20 min's then called again, they said 15 min's more. I left, dragging my bags. 3)The room was just ok. No refridgerator.

I liked the location of the hotel. The window in my first room was broken and couldn't lock so I was moved to another room. The second room was absolutely disgusting!!!! The lamp was torn, the walls were dirty, the bathroom door was split open and the window in that room was broken also. My third room appeared ok. The sliding door was new so it locked easily and the room was very clean, however, the toilet didn't work!!!

The hotel lobby was beautiful. The room was in need of updating. The furniture was broken and needed to be replaced. The bathroom was pink....circa 1970. I understand its a "retro" look but this was not a good look at all. Horrible.

The room was very outdated. Not very clean and smelled bad. Lamps did even have lightbulbs. The toilet was extremely low to the floor. We requested another room and was moved to a room that was only a little better. We had know idea that the annex side was that different. Will never stay there again.

Hotel is within a block to the boardwalk and the beach. We booked a room with 2 double beds but were able to upgrade to 2 queen beds at no cost when we arrived. Everyone we came in contact with, from the parking valet to our server in the restaurant was polite, friendly and professional. It is not a new hotel and there is some evidence of deferred maintenance. A coat of paint just cannot hide years of wear and tear. Our room had a new flatscreen tv but it sat on a worn dresser that was probably installed back in 70's when the place was built. Our bath had a new vanity/sink and Kohler toilet but the tub was the original. The hallway was dim and could use better lighting. The valet parking ($10) was convenient but does not allow access to your vehicle if you need to retrieve something.

The Chelsea hotel is wonderful. The Annexe is disgusting, do not stay here. Fortunately we were moved after I complained. I do not expect to spend $200 on a horrible room.
