    Within reach of all the casinos, the boardwalk and all the attractions. Is not a casino hotel, so nice and quiet to stay in.

    The location

    The staff at the front desk did a poor job and claim that I was not booked at the Hotel. I insisted I was and gaved my name 3 times. He finally found it after I complained, along with other guest that some were waiting 1hr just to get their room key. The bathroom ceiling was cracked over the bath tub the paint was peeling and had black mole, around the toilet base was stain, lamp in the room was unstable. Hallway and room carpeting needs replacing.

    Staff was excellent. Food was excellent. Convenience to boardwalk and jitney. Loved the choice of two pools, both very nice. Preferred smaller size hotel.

    Wish pools were open into the night for night time swim till 10 pm. Was unable to get wifi working. Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner but good for price and convenience.

    The location was perfect. We really enjoyed the pool and restaurants the hotel offers. We would definitely return!

    The ice machine was location in a different tower which made it inconvenient.

    The location was good. And the beds were nice And comfy.

    We were placed next to the elevator and was very loud. There were cigarete butts all over our balcony. The bathroom was dirty and there was no way to plug the tub. The wifi might as well Have been non existent. We parked our own vehicle and it was $15 per night!!! Over all would NEVER stay there again!

    The staff was very accommodating and efficient. As a 1st time visitor we were given an upgrade, which was appreciated, but the upgrade in comparison to what I have experienced at other AC locations was moderate, which concerned me alittle as a comparison to what I had originally booked. Again everyone was very accommodating and responsive. We also ate breakfast at the Hotel and it was excellent as was the location of the Hotel to the Beach and Casino.

    I typically stay at the Tropicana and always saw the signs for the Chelsa and was intriged by its claim of an Art Deco flair, which I wrongly assumed would be similar to Miami Beach...it was not. It was very nice and maybe when my expectations were not met created the dissappointment. While the experience wasn't unpleasant, I don't think that I will stay in the future. There was also a "HIP-HOP" weekend, which had some unpleasant situations, which while not the fault of the Chelsa, did not support a positive experience. The only big dissappointment was the charge of $15 per day for parking, as a guest of the Hotel I thought that should have either been reduced or free.

    1st room was not only unkempt and dilapidated, but we were walled in on all four sides with the only air/window several feet above our heads (we are 5'3" and 5'8" respectively. We immediately asked to change rooms. Second room was at least where we could see out and had a small balcony although it was puddled with water and couldn't be used. Second room although slightly newer, was just as "worn and dilapidated furniture, fixtures, lighting, etc. We uglied it out for the weekend we were there, but would not ever return to Chelsea Annex. Perhaps the original Chelsea is in better repair; however, the overall atmosphere both during the day and evening was perceived as unsafe, with Police action outside the immediate entrance, both during the day and evening. Security was questionable internally at best. I would be hesitant to stay there even in the upgraded area of the original Chelsea without more security. Billing was/is continues to be questionable and I am still trying to resolve that issue as well. Altogether this was a nightmare experience

    Upon arrival we were greeted by a very nice valet man who directed us to the check in desk. We then waited about 20min at the check in desk to be helped by another helpful employee who gave us our keys and told us how to get to our room. After a long walk down a hall way, through a restaurant (?), we finally arrived at the smallest, out of date, scariest, elevators and stepped in, pressed our floor, and wished for the best. We got stuck in the elevator for a solid two min before the ancient doors decided to open. As we looked out and saw the old, ratty, stained carpets and the neon glowing sign that informed us of the floor we were on (2) and the neon writing below saying "chill out" we knew we picked a winning hotel to stay in. Unfortunately the glamour did not stop there. It took us approximately 20 tries with each key card we were given to enter our room. At first the room did not seem so bad, but upon further investigation and time we begged to differ. The bed was lumpy, uncomfortable, and stained. The bathroom had yellow stained floor tile that looked like pools of urine (thank god just stains), the counter top was stained, the toilet hardly flushed, the tub did not drain (showering in standing water), the "white" towels were extremely stained, and the exhaust fan did not work so we had our own personal sauna. As we tried to sleep a door (we think the janitor's closet) kept slamming about twice every 10min so loud that it sounded like someone was trying to break our door down each time. Needless to say we hardly slept between the uncomfortable dirty bed and the obnoxiously loud door slamming of their staff. The next morning we woke up (not like we really slept due to the previously mentioned) to a woman being surrounded by two cop cars and being arrested out our window at 630am!!

    I liked the convince to the boardwalk

    The pillows were small and the carpet needed vacuuming. The photos online looked better than the actual hotel...it was nice but not as nice as the photos

    Was quoted a price and put in a different room which was disgusting and when asked to change to what we had booked was charged more. Would like a refund but of course that won't happen. I just will not stay there again .

    Close to Boardwalk

    The Annex is like staying in the projects. No coffee pot in room. Room was very outdated leak stains on ceiling. Plastic chairs. And everything was a additional charge. Pics on website very deceiving

    Locale. Price was sort of ok.

    It sort of looks like the rest of AC...that it's best years are behind it. Club closed. Room had an old broken looking desk...

    The proximity to the boardwalk was good. The management refunded half our nights stay because we had a room with a serious leak in the ceiling which kept us awake most of the night.

    The hotel was run down, smelled like mold, the Chelsea section was nice lobby etc..but then to get to the annex it's a dark hallway with a flashing neon sign inside the hallway looked like we were entering the Bates motel! We stayed on the 4th floor it was a rainy night and our celing leaked had to put a garbage can underneath to catch all the water pouring in. When we woke after an awful nights sleep the room was a mess from the leak pieces of the ceiling were on the dresser and the floor.

    the bed was comfortable --

    the bathroom was poorly clean--there was an old stain on the bathroom floor that gave foul odor everytime you go to the bathroom--the hallways are too dark not enough lights--
