Shower water pressure
The hotel was a very clean and impressive place to enjoy a gateway weekend. It's in the winter that I experienced the saturday however I cannot wait to experience this in the summer.
The room no windows alot of hair on the bed linens some of towels was nit clean
You get what you pay for. For 100$ a night on a Saturday, I knew what to expect. You can't pay 100$ and think you are walking into the WaterClub. So, if you have realistic expectations, you wont' be disappointed. We were seeing a concert at the Golden Nugget and just wanted a cheap room for the night so we didn't have to drive back to Phila. It served its purpose. No bells and whistles at all, but I did not expect that for the price.
The surrounding areas in the annex location of the Chelsea are under livable conditions very reminiscent of NYC projects with clean bedding
I enjoyed the jacuzzi in the spa area. And my breakfast to the room on time.
Pricing, the original room I was giving was not acceptable. I think Chelsea can provide a better look and service.
I didn't like the overall room old very small, smelly, bathroom very old and dated. That Annex looks like something from the Bates Motel. For something soo outdated the rate could have been cheaper. If I had known the rooms were so bad I definitely would have stayed in the newer section of the hotel:(
Very close to the boardwalk!
No mirrors, no trash cans. Room was a lot smaller then expected.
The staff here were wonderful and gave helpful advice on where we should go and what events were going on the weekend we happened to be there. We ADORED our bellhop Louis who calls himself "Mr. Hospitality!" He was so accommodating when we needed help with our bags, a mini fridge, and he even tracked down a wine key for us! The restaurant downstairs is fantastic too!
The only complaint I'd say we had was the leaky bathroom, but for the price, ya can't beat the annex!
The room was fine
After leaving the main lobby and heading to the annex, I felt unsafe. The Area Is dark, NOT Well lit. It felt like I had to be looking over my back for my safety. Didn't feel safe
The Staff at front desk were GREAT!! Valet parking had the WORSE staff of men!!
Pictures on Web look great!! When you arrive to you room it's horrible!! It looked like a low budget motel!!! Never AGAIN!! Don't book it!! Even for one night!!
Cleanliness, staff and mis- representation online..
everything about the hotel/motel was bad
Nothing. Ended up paying $50 to upgrade to regular Chelsea
Smelled of skunks and cigarette smoke. Room looked like an old nasty motel room from 1970. Holes in curtains, old nasty rug etc.
The comfort of the bed
nothing in the annex
Door barely fits frame of room 329 with paints flaking off. The door jam/lock casing falling apart. The walls are very thin about 1 .5 to 2.5 inches. The window walls are very thin that frost formed inside making the curtains stick to the wall. No concierge services to help with bags. The bathroom fixtures are broken and sink unfinished already falling apart. When I asked for a different room I was made to pay 30 dollars more which I did just to make my weekend a little better and my kids happier. Even then they gave me towels only for one person and with wholes in it. They do not deserve four and 1/2 stars rating as the front desk told me they are going to move me there for 30 dollars more. Worst of all I felt like I am third rate citizen because I booked through booking. Com
Nothing except the valet guy was very nice.
The entire room was horrible. The lights didn't work. The bathroom was SCARY. It was just all awful.
staff was nice
The conditions of the rooms. They were old, unfinished paint jobs. For an extra $40-$60 id rather stay at the trop.
Best around!!!! Will come back all the time!!!!
We didn't have more time!!!!
I like having the two bed
The bathroom and wifi was slow
Nothing everything was broke
Convenient to other locations also has a diner on the premises.
Crab cakes were delish
My boyfriend & I arrived around 4pm jan 10, 2015. The room smelled like smoke & room service took forever. We checked out around 8pm jan 10, 2015.
