Needs some upgrading..especially carpeting and bathroom (tub, vanity, floor).
We stayed at the Atlantic (not bentley). Staff very helpful. Room decor interesting and comfortable. Excellent shower. Good breakfast....A happy stay.
We went off-season and were pretty much alone there. It was very nicely designed back in the day--California '50's-ish. Nicely kept up and very comfortable, while being unpretentious.
No working air conditioning, the staff were rude. The room smelled like stale air and they woukdnt close the sky light.
Absolutely disgusting. Holes in walls, burns on furniture, carpet ripped up, nails sticking out of the floor. And for $300 a night?? No ice machine, the pool was empty and filthy, paint chipping off the exterior of the buildings. Absolutely incredible- I have never been more disappointed in my life. Completely different than the pictures advertised online. I seem to have found the one god awful thing in the Hamptons. I would have rather slept in my car.
Needs some TLC, paint, and especially better door lock security. TVs are ancient.
This is not a five-star hotel by any means. Basically an aging retro hotel which had its heyday back in the 50s and 60s. That said it was clean and spacious, with a cool little bar/kitchen and a nice private balcony looking over a large lawn area.
hugely overpriced. absolutely inconvenient. for starters -- had to pick up the key (a real one, not an electronic card) at one location, then drive back to where the actual room was. The building is very old, everything is old and delapidated -- furniture, apliances, electronics. You can see some repairs and renovations to make it look modern, but it does not make sense at all. The so called 'suit' does not have any benefits of a suit. They could at least put some plates, cups and a tea kettle in the kitchenette, if they call it a suit? I had to run to a gas station to buy myself a cup, because I wanted to make tea in the room. Overall -- just a waste of time and mone.

The room did smell. Turned on air conditioner which seemed to help. Woke up with headache--was wondering if the room had mold somewhere. Didn't see any but perhaps it was hidden. The people in the room next door seemed to be living there. They were loud and there were people going in and out of their room a lot--late into the night also. That was very annoying. Stayed at the Atlantic--didn't want to stay at the Bentley when I saw it. There was only two cars there and didn't want to stay at a hotel where there was no hotel staff in case of trouble.

We needed to drive to another hotel to check in. The bathroom was very small. The tvs were not flat screens as advertised. It overlooked a very busy road and was far from conveniently located.

Too much expensive (Had two double beds that could have accommodated the 4 people we were while booking said it was 2 people max - we had to book then - an extra room......) Poor breakfast (no room just some random food and drinks at the reception!!!) Overpriced
Did not have a clerk on site; did not provide promised breakfast; falling apart -- lights do not work, burns on counters,beds awful, not secure, no safety bars in shower -- in general, a dump. Cost was high; motel was low.
Everything as worn but clean
No stove, no coffee maker, no continental breakfast as stated when I made the reservation!!!
I liked that it had a pool, fridge and microwave.

When we arrived the receptionist told us that we were registered at at the Atlantic Hotel, which belongs to the same owner and that our room had a queen bed and a pull out bed although we have reserved a room with two queen beds (I had a printed reservation). They put us at the Bentley but gave us a room with rotten carpet and rotten shades. The door was not closing properly and we were afraid to leave our belongings there. The reservation also said that we would have a flat screen tv, which was not true. The room is not bad in the overall, but needs a bit more of cleaning and care and is extremely overpriced. The "breakfast" which is supposedly included is a cup of coffee and some bagels, yogurt and fruit served in the reception area. The reception is always closed and there is no staff to speak to neither to return the keys or the beach permit.
The swimming pool is really nice.I Would come back if I knew that I would be put in a better kept room.
