The wifi here is very poor, and sometimes it just broken. And sometimes there might be a power off.
Not too costly close to everything/center lots of facilities.
bunkbeds (clean and ok, but ...)
The common room is great, a nice place to relax, talk with friends and spend some time. The bedroom has a small fridge and a decent bed.
It was summer and the room gets a little hot, the ceiling fan only works with the lights on, so you cannot leave it on while sleeping.
Excellent location. Good breakfast.
Rooms are very basic, no table or chair. Just a bed. If you are used to a minimum of comfort, this will do. Of not, you will need to go somewhere else.
Needs refurbishing. Showers were very dated and did not feel clean. Rooms were run down.
It was the cheapest hotel.. Wifi Location is nice, 10-15 minates walk from city center Close to cafes and reasturesnts Early check in
The ladies bethroom was on the other side of the floor and there are 3 showers for one floor. A bit far from city center
Restaurants are close by Clean toilet and shower
Beds too small for two adults, even for a couple Bit further from city but in walkable distance
location and facilities
just a bit old, it was ok though
Nothing except closser to my conferance place
Staff with don't care attitude. You have to ask for towel, soap and shampoo. No even a cup for water. I still did not get tiny soap.Urinal stopped up in men's bathroom despite complain next day it was same. In women's bathroom shower with 1" of water backed up nothing done even on next day. How can you get by with such horrible condition. It's not even inexpensive. For $112+tax/night you expect atleast clean room and bathroom.Broken table lamp in the room.Nasty hallway carpet. Is someone checking on from even health point of view. I have stayed in better and atleast cleaner hotel even in 3rd world country.I like to see that people and owner get to see my experience. All other hotels nearby were sold out or else I would have checked out. Terrible and awfull place. With condition like this it should be shut down untill cleaned up. Nalin Albemarle, NC
location friendly staff
too expensive (bad price-performance ratio)
This place is good only for students seeking for temp accommodation before moving in to their leased one...Only plus points are room price( IN COMPARISON TO BOSTON HOTELS ). location proximity for some universities like Northeastern..
Small ,poorly maintained rooms ,resembles a rundown hospital , Shared bath areas are old and needs an up gradation, located at one place may find you walking down in long passages. Not recommended for families, and older people..room tariff not worth the facilities you get..
Stained floor, hot stuffy room, unpleasant odor in the hallway
Overalll location was good- a seven 11 is across the road which is handy Bathroom facilities were great. Powerful, hot showers. Great wi-fi access with i-pads you could use in the lobby. The pros were much greater than the cons and overall, my stay was an enjoyable one.
Room was very basic but did have A.C which was fab! Curtains didn't close and blinds were poor so i was awake from 6.30am due to the light streaming in. Bed was VERY creaky- the slightest movement and the bed creaked.
I liked everything indeed, location is perfect , friendly staff. I highly recommend this place to young people.
Just the fan in the bedroom it didn't work properly. just that.
I stayed here 3 nights one week (on the 2nd floor) and 1 night the next week (6th floor) and the rooms and bathroom on the 6th floor were MUCH better than on on 2nd. Great location with all sights walkable and close to the subway too. Regular hotels in this area were at least $50 more per night than the hostel, so it was a good value for the location.
Some staff was great and could handle the multitasking needed for a busy place with lots of check ins and check outs, and other staff was overwhelmed and seemed confused and we had to wait in long lines. Some showers not in working order, vending machine not working, and drinking fountain not working while we were there. Wi-fi was a poor connection in rooms at the end of the hall, had to bring my device to the common area to get a good signal. They were not clear on the signage about the breakfast voucher that you had to get every morning, but we figured it out.
A fine hostel but costs about twice as much as it should.
A fine hostel but costs about twice as much as it should.
It includes wash&dry laundray room. The room is quiet.
The utilities in room is not enough for guest. There is no chair in room.
need chair in the shower & soap dish in reach fix tub faucet water flow ;absent on 3rd floor remind travelers not to hang clothes on The Sprinkler System & sign a form! need more hangers in the closet
Really good location ,could walk nearly everywhere in the city from here. It was nice and quite ,facilities and staff very good. Love the popcorn machine!!
We stayed in two different rooms and both times it was quite noisy very early in the morn - I know we were in the city but windows did very little to help with the noise reduction.
Location...and breakfast really good
Room size.how old buildin was...
But you sleep very well and the location is perfect
The rooms are not that great
Great position, 5 minutes from underground. Great breakfast, with lots of food and beverages.
Not so clean, one of the 2 showers was broken, so the queue in the morning for the restroom was quite long. The overall style is very old.
breakfast walking distance to conference center and city center staff was very helpful in finding directions and nice restaurants
really basic bedroom shared bathroom
Great staff Breakfast is good, but cafeteria style. 20 min walk from boston common.
Rooms are very basic
