I like the location and the staffs. Everything was good and fine
Just could have breakfast included
Everyone was pleasent and helpful! Very nice place!
Staff was kind.
Wifi wasn't work for 2-days. and bed was stiff.
Great Value for the $... Beats fleabag expectations of other establishments of the same price... 40 Berkeley is great for ppl on a budget
No Basic utensils for dining, extra towels, some furnishings need updating
Professional and welcoming staff
Bed was like a hospital bed
Is not that expensive.
Cleanliness. Restrooms were always dirty. For people with car, is really difficult to find a parking space in the area.
heat in the room but better too hot than too cold
location walkable to everything comfortable quiet people
room a little dirty, work had been done and not vacumed after, wanted to take a bath after walking the city all day but no plug for bath drain, no phone to desk in room, no way to turn down heat in room
My room was cheap, staff was helpful.
Shared bathrooms, and I was put in a room next to a very loud long term resident. I had to listen to a domestic argument from 12am-3am one weeknight. The furniture in my room (including the bed) was old and/or uncomfortable, not to mention the room was tiny and bare....but my floor was newly renovated, and there was paint on one wall!
I liked the fact that i was very comfortable the staff was very nice looking forwarded to staying again
The only thing i didnt like is the bed squeak to much and this 1 lady kept asking me if i was from the fbi or csi looking for her
The room was warm and clean, good few (highst floor) and nice personal. All together a good choice for a small budged
Looks a bit like a hospital, less furnished.
Overall my room and the shared facilities were basic and used but very clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
My room was very warm and the heating couldn't be turned off.
Hostel - basic Bed + desk, no frills. Was perfect for one night in Boston, probably no more. Nice lounge, movie theater. I really liked the common areas. Great location!
The bed was comfi, the staff was nice and helpful. Back Bay is a lovely neighborhood and the hostel is close to the subway station. There is a movie room and free popcorn!
The pillow was really thin and hard. And normally there is a kitchen in a hostel, but here they only had a small (dirty) oven, a toaster and a microwave.
- everything was just as we thought it would look like - just like on the pictures
No nonsense accommodation. Clean rooms. Good WiFi. Nice common areas. Big rooms.
Elevator controls were strange.
Great location, friendly staff.
Pretty large for a hostel, felt more like an apartment building especially at room levels. Rooms very basic
central location, great value
in-suite wifi sucks, lobby was ok
We stayed for 3 nights and were slightly apprehensive as we had never stayed in a hostel before but were pleasantly surprised. The room was basic but very clean and warm. The shared bathrooms were spotless and always empty which was handy although that may be due to the time of year we travelled. We didn't really use any of the social areas but they looked well maintained. Location was great and felt very safe there! Wifi was excellent as well
Beds were a little hard and the pillows thin but that's the only negative!
This was a great, cheap and conveniently placed hotel. The staff were really helpful, and friendly. Will definitely stay again.
I really did not like the attitide of the female staff when I checked in at night, which made me lost my interestings in Boston.
It is a good place for cheap travel. Not cosiness, but clean and not far from metro station.
good staff and location. Above all, affordable price. Good for budget travelers like us.
there was wifi downtime on weekends. According to the clerk, we could not claim for refund because wifi is complimentary.
