Score from 1408 reviews Very good
Staff unmotivated and rude, cleanliness standards very poor especially in common areas. I would not recommend it to anyone
Shared bathrooms, very poor quality air conditioner/heater in the rooms. No tv on rooms.
Price and location are really good
Very smart and tidy building, one of the better places I've stayed. I consider it more of an up-class hotel than a hostel, such is the level of comfort. 7eleven directly across the street is handy too.
- the light was a little dim inside the room - one of the shower booths was not available on 7th floor
- Kind service workers, - Great location if you're okay to walk for 5-7mins to get to public transportation - in general, it was great to stay.
Lobby was good, comfi
I wanted to check out 1 day earlier but was told that I will not get any refund
good location worth the money popcorn machine
Bed was so bad I had a limp
Jj foleys bar. Less than 300 yards
Staff were nice free wifi
Would be good to be able to get a small breakfast there as well.
The location is great. Friendly staff and overall pretty clean, warm and comfortable.
I think there isn't anything much to be disliked. Staff is friendly and helpful. And everything is ok.
I liked the sitting area, and books for reading. Also the coffee and pop corn.
Free wifi and cleaniness and the the heating system. The room was really warm.
NO IN-HOUSE SNACKS SHOP
HISTORY OF THE BUILDING
The heat was really too warm for sleeping and there is no possibility to adjust it.
close to back bay station for the subway services Helpful place to keep your luggage secure during your day at work
YOU I will not use your service again and I will tell other potential customers
the nice people in boston
Dirt, heat, noise.
Staff were friendly.
The price to stay doubled from last year! Yes it is still cheap to stay here, but my stay last year was 280.00 for the 4 nights and was perfect price for everything you have to deal with staying here. ( shared bathroom, room small and feeled like a dorm room.) But now the price was 600.00 with no improvements at all! If you are trying to save money on your trip I still say stay here as the place is ... Do able... But that price jump made me so upset and that it takes payment day of booking about made broke me! Lastly the nose was alful! Every night it seemed you was right by a cop car when he hit his alarms as the windows you need to keep open if you dont want to burn up. Also other people would be banging around all night keeping us up. One day the cleaning lady was yelling on her phone about her boyfriend that I could clearly hear and wish she would just shut up. I will just pay 1200.00 to stay in a very nice hotel with my own bathroom then to pay this price again. If they dropped prices back to what they where when I first came here it would be great!
It is right in the middle of the city, so easy to walk to anything you want to see. Also is still the cheapest place to stay in boston.
It was simple and great price in a good location.
Lack of free soap in the room
Location Price (less than 30$/night) Private room Free pop corn :) Clean bathrooms Good common areas Vending machines Free wifi
There were a lot of shady characters and those with mental illness on the premises.
Cheapest room in the area.
The door of the room does not close properly.
The restroom was clean. The sightseen from the room I was.
Grubby floors and bathrooms
Location in a good place, nice communal areas
The bed. It was just impossible to sleep there with the springs sticking into your ribs. I'm a small person, but I don't even wanna think if you're a bit heavy...
The location was nice, walkable distance from the main attractions. The shared toilets and showers were always very clean. The free popcorn was pretty cool!
Have a perfect location. The staff there are very nice and patient .
