We could open the windows. Our room was quiet and private. Communal bathroom was clean and not busy.

Very friendly staff, always willing and eager to help travelers have the best experience possible. Clean facilities and centrally located-couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. The community spaces were very nice.

Needed a chair and maybe a couple of hooks in the room. noisy doors and sometimes people - small bathrooms, shared

The rooms are not maintained. The bed was not comfortable, the sheet was not changed for three days and the breakfast served could be better.

Made me feel like I was back in college with the dorm-style accommodation and shared bathroom. Stay was inclusive of an industrial-strength breakfast. Location was perfect with easy access to the T and Back Bay night life. Excellent value, responsible and friendly staff, and exceptional cleanliness.

Florescent room lighting and a little street noise were the only slight (and I mean VERY slight) negatives.

the place is open, feels safe, is clean, and the people are friendly. the location is excellent for getting to many places around town easily. it has the feel of a college dormitory and i enjoyed it very much. it is my go-to place now when i visit family in Boston!

A little fabric softener in the towels would be much appreciated!

The staff at reception was lovely

The rooms were ugly so was the breakfast room. Overpriced for what they offer. Not a backpacker atmosphere at all!

Location. Great value for money!

We stayed in apartment. Old facilities, toilet from the bedroom6 that not convenient for the couple stayed in the living room.

The location was excellent and the hostel was quiet.

The bathrooms were quite dirty and a couple of times unstocked with toilet paper and/or paper towels. I really expected more for $100/night (private room). I've had great experiences in other hostels and usually look for them, but have to say that for an overnight in Boston, next time I'll go for a hotel. It's the same cost for cleaner accommodations.

The outside courtyard; staff let me leave my luggage for pickup later on departure day so I did not have to haul it around; rockers in the open area looking on to the garden; efficient, friendly staff at the desk; felt safe; functional rooms; wifi; adrenaline café and popcorn; free breakfast; liked the partnership with the local entrepreneurs' area

Some of the kitchen workers looked almost sullen, or bored, or non-engaged in the 2 mornings I was there. That's too bad, really, because you can choose to have great customer service or just be a body and act like you could not care less. A new carpet on the second floor would be great.

price, location, food was good value, pretty clean but spartan.

shared bath, linoleum floor of room was engrained with dirt, curtains / blinds did little to keep the light out in mornings.

Doors are closing way to loud, which woke my up several times.

Reference staff were very nice, and helped on everything we needed. Location is good, very close to south station, so it is easy to transfer wherever you want.

Breakfast was unfortunately poor. If you dont eat pork, you have just a few options...

Very well organized and the location. Actually almost the perfect hostel.

The toilet/bathroom. There was water on the floor that appeared to originate from the toilets. That would be transfered everywhere and would be very unhygienic. I would call the toilets seats slightly dirty. I needed to clean them before using them every time. The showers were clean enough but old and appeared dirty. In general I would suggest to maintain and even redesign the toilet and then it would be perfect. I should mention that the hostel was full and the shared toilets was overused and perhaps that caused the toilets to be so bad. The elevator was very slow. But that is a minor issue.

Central location, good service, good value for money.

Breakfast was so-so (like most hotels i have been to). Also, no parking included. The bed was a bit on the old side.

Proximity to Tremont Street/BCA Theatre and several S End restaurants - an area which is now very well lighted. Close to Back Bay Station and within walking distance to Park Street Subway HUB. Happy to see women from the transitional program mixing with out of town guests and international travelers.

The partitioning of the shower facilities in the men's bathroom are a little awkward for use (very tight quarters).

The room SMELLED terribly of disinfectant spray. I could not breath as I was trying to go to sleep due to the stench. I would not stay here again.
