After more than a week of traveling and staying at various hotel chains that include breakfast, this was indeed a disappointment. Breakfast consisted of a bowl of apples, juice boxes, yogurt, granola bars and packaged muffins laid out with a stack of paper bags. The coffee was served with packets of powdered creamer. This is billed as a "grab-and-go" breakfast, but in an industry where breakfast is included as part of the overnight stay package, this negatively impacts the value of this hotel's pricing. True, there is a Denny's right next door, but a modest breakfast there is over $10. The lobby is small, so I wouldn't expect an upgrade to a more elaborate spread like the type offered by other chains, but it would be nice to have some oatmeal packets, hot water, dry cereal, milk and liquid coffee creamer. There are no tables, so expect to stand while eating, be seated on the lobby's limited furniture or return to your room.
Location is within walking distance of Disneyland. ART shuttle stops in front of Denny's next door. Rooms are comfortable and clean, but there is no room for a cot or crib. Toilet and tub are self-contained but sink is in the bedroom, which makes it challenging when trying to allow small children to sleep. Sink counter top is spacious.
