Staff are friendly. The hotel shuttle is a must, it runs every 1 hour (peak hours every 30min) from 7a.M. to 10 P.M. The room was fairly clean and aircon worked fine. Breakfast not too fancy but good enough. Does not have lift, it might be difficult to carry the luggage to the 2nd level. If the shuttles run more frequently and till later at nights that would be a bonus!

It was a clean room, close to relative. Did not like that it was like a motel, door opening up to outside. Walls very thin, could hear people next to us very plainly.

This hotel was quite a distance from the airport and the metro line. There are no restaurants in walking distance. We found a very large cockroach in our bathtub. The entrance to the room is off an outdoor corridor which was ok with the mild weather but would be rough in the wet and cold.

Location - near Arlington National Cemetery My only disappointment was to discover uppon arrival that this was a motel with room doors opening to the outdoors and not a hotel which seems to be more secure since the rooms open into an interior hallway.

Chosen for location, convenience and security. We had an ant invasion, which the staff did deal with. However, when we checked in on Wednesday, there were dead ants on the bathroom floor, and on the lamp shade next to the bed. They were still there on Saturday, and I went to the front desk and asked they be removed. The floor got cleaned but the ants on the lamp shade were finally removed by my husband. The rooms are very poorly sound insulated and if you have bad neighbors as we did, it can become most unpleasant.

The room was very comfortable, and the shuttle service to the metro very convenient. I hated the breakfast. Very poor selection; plastic plates and cups; just terrible. Especially since I paid a more money there than at the Dulles Airport Marriot.

The convenience of the shuttle to the Metro system was superb. It made our stay in Washington D.C. area pleasant. Our goal was to see the National Mall. We did not allow enough time, so we will return sometime.
