Located next to lavender fields. The rooms are a great size. The breakfast is good and includes bagels and mini muffins.

The cleaning wasn't the best as the room had still a letter to the former inhabitant in it, as well as empty water bottles under the bed.

It was quiet, despite being on "the main drag".

Parking was barely adequate for what was obviously a full house. The breakfast buffet was meager but good. No hot water for tea was out, but it was quickly provided when I asked.

We were with a very large group and the staff adjusted breakfast times for our group so that they could accomodate. Great location and great amenities.

What I liked is having a kitchenette to warm up my one year olds milk. The pool was not crowded so it was relaxing.

When you book you are entitled to a beach pass but they so called ran out of passes. They should have enough beach passes for each room . I booked for one price and during check in they over charged my card for each room claiming those were the rates available. I showed them my confirmation and had to show what price I was set up to pay to get a credit to my account . Be careful watch your credit card. Also I recommend first floor if you have a lot of things to carry . Rooms are small but workable .

We spent a great 4th of July weekend at the Blue Inn, and had a wonderful time. We went with our two young children, aged 4 and 1. We loved the pool, and appreciated that they provided towels. We also liked that there were some open areas to play soccer and wiffle ball with the kids. And there was a bbq area. It was nice that the inn was next to a lavender farm. This isn't just a hotel, there places to relax outside of your room, including Adirondack chairs in the grassy area, and rocking chairs on the front porch.

The restaurant wasn't open (except for the continental breakfast), so we had to go off the grounds for lunch.

    Location, cleanliness, helpfulness of staff.

The restaurant on location was closed, though it was advertised on the hotel's site and the booking site. Also, it's really more of a motel, and the price for such was much greater than it should have been for what we got.

In all a good place. Very clean.

Only complaint is that they charged My credit card double amount. This was fixed a few days after i discovered this and told them about it.

The location of the Inn was superb. The staff was very pleasant, and it was immaculate. we will definitely be coming back!!!! :)

Since we were not familiar with the area, we wished the staff would have been a little more helpful our first day there to advise us of things to do, make suggestions. Also, their office hours were only 9-5, so it made it difficult to ask after 5pm. We made it a point to go on our 2nd day at 9am to inquire on vineyards, and local towns.

Location, location, location. It is located less than 1 mile from Greenport Village and a few miles from wine country on LI North Shore. Close by beautiful Orient Point State park and you can also be in Sag Harbor, Shelter Island and the Hamptons very quickly

Room was nothing special. Somewhat like a glorified truckers motel. Bathroom sink didnt drain, someone eles made that observation. Bar and restaurant were closed for the season even though I thought we were in season. Not the worst thing though, plenty of action in Greenport Village close by.

-The property is well kept -The units were very clean -The air conditioning units work well -The water is good and hot -The kitchenette has all you need

We had 6 rooms in our group, totaling almost $2500 -Not all of the beds were comfortable -The motel portion rooms are showers only, although roomy, difficult to clean up a baby -The continental breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Only a few of our group were there for it Saturday, but I understand It's too short and offered very little. Sunday we did not get breakfast at all. Apparently the majority of the motel was booked by a wedding, so they got first class treatment, and we had to get breakfast off site. No offer of a discount to the price of the 6 rooms we had was offered though -The guests that were there for the wedding were loud late into the night, made a bonfire in the grill, which of course produced a lot of smoke and sparks, they left a mess on the grounds overnight, trash, bottles, cans, their personal coolers, etc., that we faced first thing in the morning both Saturday and Sunday, and no one from the Inn seemed there to see this. -Parking is tough, one of the vehicles in our party (6 rooms, we only had 3 vehicles) was just short of blocked in by one of the wedding guests on Saturday morning. Again, there was no Inn staff there to address this. There should be someone available on site to monitor inappropriate guest activity late into the night. When we plan our next fishing trip, we will be sure that there are no other large parties on site before we consider booking at the Blue Inn.

Clean, well kept rooms. Pet friendly. We traveled with our dog and it was fantastic we were able to bring him. Loved the kitchenette.

I have no complaints. The only thing I would change is that I would make the continental breakfast more complete. I would have eggs and breakfast meats.

Location in middle of vineyards and there is a Lavender Farm next door! Makes for a nice picnic at the hotel.

    Very cramped bath.
