The area! The room had a balcony with loungers which was nice, the pool and jacuzzi were lovely. Comfy bed. It was expensive, the room was very dated, didnt have a hairdryer and the bathroom needed updating.

Owners are fabulous, place is retro n low key. It's not a 5 star hotel but it's super comfortable and if you want to be able to chill n walk around carmel valley n wine taste, it's perfect Not alot of 3 prong plugs in room for computer charging. No blow dryers. Rooms need some spring cleaning n refurbishing... Even some new bed spreads would go far

Very friendly, accomodating staff. Super clean rooms and grounds. Quiet but kid-friendly. If you're looking for a modern hotel with all the ammenities, look elsewhere.

Cute old but in terrific shape feeling, love the layout of the complex and Library area!! Cats lovely sweet cats in the office and library! nothing, wish I had more time to relax in the library myself!

Small hotel, relaxing atmosphere There is a hiter in the rom, however if it turned off it becomes very cold in the room. I was in the middle of Ocober, when the rains and cold already began.

非常好的环境，安静，融入大自然，清晨拉开窗帘，竟然有两只野生小鹿在阳台下吃草。酒店前厅给人感觉非常温- 暖、舒适。 也许是太接近自然，房间里有蚂蚁和蟑螂。

Mi è piaciuta la cortesia della propietaria e i servizi aggiuntivi (piscina riscaldata e hot tub) che purtroppo non abbiamo potuto usare. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Se si resta solo una notte e non si usa la piscina forse rispetto alla media è un po' caro per il comfort della camera.

Es un motel de los años 60, perfectamente conservado en un entorno precioso. Si te gusta lo auténtico este es el sitio. Muy curioso. Está bastante lejos de Carmel y Monterrey

Loved the private grounds and secluded location. Convenient to town amenities, minutes away from Carmel/Monterey and Hwy 1 to Big Sur. Friendly staff, heated pool and wonderful library room.
