Totally loved the pool area. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, deckchairs and table tennis on a lovely Californian morning! The lounge with baby grand piano has lots of character. Wish we could have stayed another night.

You are made very welcome and a good place to regroup mid trip.

Some parts are a little run down but this did not spoil our stay.

I really enjoyed staying here! I loved that if felt peacful and quiet. The place was very clean and comforting. I regret not booking another night, this place is really worth the price. I would definitely stay here again when l go back to Big Sur.

Great location, incredibly friendly hosts. Fantastic pool and hot tub.

Found some bugs in the bath tub. We didn't mind, but someone else might.

Loved the privacy of each room. Rooms included a private deck with patio furniture. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The grounds, pool area well kept. Check out at noon!

The bed was really hard. No refrigerator.

Overall, it was a lovely place. The pool was nice (salt water), the grounds were gorgeous, and the owners very sweet and helpful. There were little shops and restaurants within walking distance.

The rooms really need updating. Our shower drain was clogged and the air conditioner didn't cool the brutally hot room off until the middle of the night. The ceiling was made of red wood which holds the heat in so there is no way I would stay there in the summer.

Rooms seriously need a decent renovation, NO wifi in the rooms, no fridge to keep something fresh after 10.... Not very flexible. Considering the price a bad option to stay

Quaint private rooms with patio and very affordable. The hotel is close to several wine tasting rooms in the area, which was nice to walk instead of drive.

Rooms could use a bit of updating, but it didn't detract from our experience.

    size of the room

the room is too close to the street with the night traffic and very early morning traffic being too loud to bear; bathroom too small, no breakfast served; price too high for the facilities available; the photo shows that the room we got was overlooking a meadow-like scenery and it turned out ot be just a basic garden TOO CLOSE TOT HE STREETS:(((,,,POOL LOOKED DIRTY SO we did not even try to get in...HOT water flow was too weak....

The owners are very kind and informative. The beds and pillows are HEAVENLY and the room a sanctuary. We will most definitely be back, opportunity arising.

    absolutely nothing.

the staff were incredible. Point Lobos was the most fantastic place ever, especially bird island, so wonderful.

i think we may have come at the wrong time of year, would have been more fun if we were able to take advantage of the beautiful swimming pool, my husband was also not feeling well
