Location, large rooms

walls are super thin, not comfortable coming in late and the elevator can not be seen by fro nt desk... outsiders can wait for someone by pretending they are looking for their key. It happened to us and we were not sure. Recommend to couples, not single women. because of that security issue.

When we arrived, the lady at the reception was putting makup on and we all felt like we were disturbing her. Poor customer service... she was unpleasant. (Friday, May 17th, 2013). The location is great, but you should finish the renovation and please add more lights in the room and most important in the bathroom.

Everything!! A beautiful clean hotel with nice rooms,comfortable beds,huge tv with heaps of channels,close to many main attractions in LA. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Next time I am in LA, I will be staying here again.

I can't fault it.

The upgraded boutique design of the rooms, crown moldings, plantation shutters and comfort of the bed.

The lounge was closed for remodeling. Also, the air conditioning system rattled loudly several times during the night and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Walking distance to food, coffee and main part of Hollywood

Staff were nice enough. Not knowledgable about transport to locations to downtown. My room was facing the main road, very noisy at night, hard to get a well rested sleep. The lift was slow.

Price, bed, closet space, ease of check in

Unable to confirm for early check in, no safe to leave valuables in room, no food available on site, (even a vending machine or mini bar?), waited over an hour to have a packet of decaf coffee brought to the room, housekeeping staff (politely) coming to my room in the morning to ask when I'm checking out (no matter how politely you ask, this is rude unless its after check out time), would like to see stairs more clearly marked.

I did not expect much due to some reviews but I was very happy. My daughter and I were active all day and the location was convient to public metro and buses, and the beds were very comfortable. The Room had all we needed and they cleaned it well every day. The staff was all very polite and helpful. I would stay there again when traveling without a doubt.

I never tried the pool, that wasnt inviting but again I was there to be active.

The bed was very comfortable

1) To dark, not enough light overall, but esp. At the mirror and in the bathroom 2) placement of phone, TV and jacuzzi 3) internet did not work only intermittently; frequent kick-offs

Close to the magic castle and highland/Hollywood

The bathroom was small and the sink was part of the room area. Felt like a open loft. No blackout shades.

Great location, just far enough from the main streets of hollywood but close enough to easily walk in to. Clean room that was spacious.

Beds so comfy, rooms nice and big!!!! Close to chinese threate, and close to shops. If itsjust for 1 night or 4 great little place with a good nights rest

Maybe laundry facilities and maybe breakfast but not to fused. Great to stay

Bedbugs all over the place. Do not go to this hotel. They even tried to charge us full price, when we checked out. Our bodies were covered in bites - this place is awful. This place destroyed our holiday.

The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The beds were large and comfortable.

The room had hardwood floor and a bit run down. The bathroom door would not shut all the way and the top of the front door did not line up with the frame. The shampoo and conditioner that came with the room were in hard plastic bottles so it would not easily come out. The room did not cool down until the early morning making it difficult to sleep.

Bed was really nice and comfortable. Recently renovated. Close to area of town we needed to be in the next day and easy to get in and out.

Appeared renovations were not complete. No outlet where the coffee maker was. No microwave. Terrible lighting. TV was almost impossible to figure out. Very, very noisy in corridor all night long.

Walking distance to Hollywood without being too close. Clean. Tidy.

Very poor lighting. Fridge on a lean, cards always not working was frustrating.

Great location and very comfy beds, free wifi !

Noise from the construction going on down the hall I had to request a refrigerator after I called a day in advance to confirm my room and I asked the add on booking.com stated all rooms come with and the the front desk girl was very rude

This hotel was extremely comfortable. It was under construction but no problems. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the bed. So comfortable and relaxing. Easy to get to with easy parking as I was pulling a trailer. About three block from Hollywood Blvd. Great place to stay and pricing was pretty good as well.

The price was fantastic. Location was great(Hollywood). Parking was excellent.

It was under construction so no amenities, tv went out one day, and constuction was going on early in the morning one day in the room next to ours. (Probably why the price was so great.) Other than that it was a wonderful experience.

Internet access very bad in the room. A lot of noise coming from adjacent rooms (walls to thin) and also coming from hallways.

The location, the modern style, and as well the pricing. Being that it was a last minute booking.
