The BLVD Hotel & Suites  

Location - was a five minute walk to the main streets, ie Dolby Theatre, Walk of Fame etc. Bib rooms with two beds was bliss. Great shower. Nice (but small) heated pool.

Didn't find the staff overly friendly. Felt a bit like we were bothering them with our questions. No decent brochures on display for tourists/travellers.

Room size and furnishings were great.

The clock was unplugged and couldn't figure out how to make it work.

Clean sheets and flat screen tv's

Thought the room numbers on the doors could make the place a hole lot more classier if they were on engraved labels instead of printed paper taped on.

Position close to Hollywood boulevard ! Walking distance to theatre!

Location was great, within walking distance to the walk of fame and shops. A short distance to universal studios. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

The fact of no breakfast on site is a bit of a bother, but across the road was a very nice cafe.

the envirnoment is comfortable,clean and tidy

1.sometimes, the sound of foot of flush can come to my ear . 2.there is no way to share the bill to the areport.

Expensive for a budget styled hotel, caters to backpacker-style (the actual hotel property, not the rooms). Area is noisy and the windows in the hotel are NOT double glazed, as a result you hear every single car driving past. Additionally the air conditioning in our room was very loud (old air conditioning unit). Paid parking for guests of the hotel. 'Late' check out is 12pm (noon) apparently. Staff not very friendly.

The walk of fame is in walking distance.

Close proximity to the Hollywood Bowl.

Paying $15.00 for parking.

Nice location, 15 min walk from Chinese theatre.

Location, large rooms

walls are super thin, not comfortable coming in late and the elevator can not be seen by fro nt desk... outsiders can wait for someone by pretending they are looking for their key. It happened to us and we were not sure. Recommend to couples, not single women. because of that security issue.

When we arrived, the lady at the reception was putting makup on and we all felt like we were disturbing her. Poor customer service... she was unpleasant. (Friday, May 17th, 2013). The location is great, but you should finish the renovation and please add more lights in the room and most important in the bathroom.

Everything!! A beautiful clean hotel with nice rooms,comfortable beds,huge tv with heaps of channels,close to many main attractions in LA. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Next time I am in LA, I will be staying here again.

I can't fault it.

The upgraded boutique design of the rooms, crown moldings, plantation shutters and comfort of the bed.

The lounge was closed for remodeling. Also, the air conditioning system rattled loudly several times during the night and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Walking distance to food, coffee and main part of Hollywood

Staff were nice enough. Not knowledgable about transport to locations to downtown. My room was facing the main road, very noisy at night, hard to get a well rested sleep. The lift was slow.

Price, bed, closet space, ease of check in

Unable to confirm for early check in, no safe to leave valuables in room, no food available on site, (even a vending machine or mini bar?), waited over an hour to have a packet of decaf coffee brought to the room, housekeeping staff (politely) coming to my room in the morning to ask when I'm checking out (no matter how politely you ask, this is rude unless its after check out time), would like to see stairs more clearly marked.

I did not expect much due to some reviews but I was very happy. My daughter and I were active all day and the location was convient to public metro and buses, and the beds were very comfortable. The Room had all we needed and they cleaned it well every day. The staff was all very polite and helpful. I would stay there again when traveling without a doubt.

I never tried the pool, that wasnt inviting but again I was there to be active.

The bed was very comfortable

1) To dark, not enough light overall, but esp. At the mirror and in the bathroom 2) placement of phone, TV and jacuzzi 3) internet did not work only intermittently; frequent kick-offs

Close to the magic castle and highland/Hollywood

The bathroom was small and the sink was part of the room area. Felt like a open loft. No blackout shades.

Great location, just far enough from the main streets of hollywood but close enough to easily walk in to. Clean room that was spacious.

Beds so comfy, rooms nice and big!!!! Close to chinese threate, and close to shops. If itsjust for 1 night or 4 great little place with a good nights rest

Maybe laundry facilities and maybe breakfast but not to fused. Great to stay

Bedbugs all over the place. Do not go to this hotel. They even tried to charge us full price, when we checked out. Our bodies were covered in bites - this place is awful. This place destroyed our holiday.
