This hotel is ok if you don't have any problems with your room. Our room didn't have a plug for the bath and the girl on the desk wasn't very helpful. She offered us another room but said that one might be the same....
Good location, away from the main strip but only a short walk away.
Pool area very small and water not cleaned properly, not possible to sun bath No breakfast available
Nothing to dislike.
Just a short walk to Hollywood Blvd. the beds were really comfy. Very big room.
Literally parts of room held together with gum, dark very little light and noises that kept one up all night.
Walls are thin, my wall had a door with a closet covering it. Within twenty minutes of checking in we got a complaint. No hard noise were we giving. Weird...
Clean, chic, good location.
Good location and very friendly staff
Pool could not be used dirty and covered with floating insects.no one was using it and although full had obviously not been cleaned for some time.
Location, size of room, parking facilities.
The one thing that really sucked was that I would hear the people upstairs stomping all around the hard wood floor which caused for some aggravation but what can you do not everyone is considerate. Besides adding carpet for Boise control it was goo
The staff was amazing and very helpful. Everything went smoothly
Pool was so tiny and dirty..hallways have very bad odor and stained carpets..
Its location is walking distance from hollywood blvd.
This hotel was nice, but if you want somewhere quiet to stay do not stay here! Between the 2:30am party going on next door, and the baby crying at 4:30 a.m. in the hallway, it made for a very long night. The staff was nice, the hotel was nice & agood value for the money. But don't expect to get a lot of sleep.
The location is perfect. A short walk from Hollywood Boulevard, super close to buses and the metro train station. Even though it's on a busy road it wasn't noisy at all. Close to Starbucks and a small supermarket if you need anything. Highly recommend.
It could do with an in room safe, other than that no problems!
Quick walk to Hollywood blvd where most tours and hop on hop off buses leave from! Comfortable and plenty of room for 3 people. Full length mirror is a plus!
Convenient, nice toiletries, comfortable.
One quibble: Many of the rooms must be accessed from an elevator entrance outside, which some might find creepy at night. You have to enter your room card to gain access to the elevator, though.
I selected this place as my crash pad during the TCM Classic Film Festival. It's close to TCL Chinese cinemas (where most of the fest's films are screened). I've stayed at almost all of the surrounding hotels on Highland, and i think BLVD provided the most bang for the buck.
There is no cafe or any type of room service besides juice and danish sold in the reception area, carpets throughout the hotel were a bit dirty, the area to get on the elevator seems really sketchy at night, 2 days in a row the shower did not get hot only luke warm, blinds were torn. Paint chipped on the doors and bathroom. Overall I paid a little over 500.00 for 2 nights and it was not worth it at all, when I called downstairs to ask them to change the blown out light bulbs and check the water the front desk girl had an attitude.
The location was probably the most favorable part about this hotel.
staff was a bit arrogant and didn't provide us any info. offered services are overpriced. We had to pay for parking. Wifi was really slow....
The location is just awesome. Nice large rooms
This was definitely an old, cheap hotel that's been updated, but not updated in some areas where it was badly needed. There was zero sound proofing, you could hear EVERYTHING that happened in the hall or nearby rooms. All. Night. Long. The carpeting in the halls was also extremely dirty.
The location was convenient as there was lots of nearby places wishing walking distance. Really like the free glass of wine at 5 pm and the staff was very nice.
Noise , staff
Location , large room
Paper thin walls could hear conversations in multiple rooms and made it difficult to sleep.
Perfect location for Hollywood area just a couple blocks from Hollywood and Highland. Small # of rooms easy to get around, very good staff
Plug didn't work in bath
No help with luggage to room. Smelly corridors. One light in ceiling in entire room with side lamps to support. Awful furniture. Access to rooms down an alley with elevator key card that repeatedly failed to work.
I have never had to pay to park my car in ANY hotel where I have stayed before, I would have thought that if you were a resident of any hotel, it would be free, I think an extra $20 per night is extortionate.
Nice big room, huge TV, good position
Housekeeping was great with cleaning, not so much with re stocking supplies like coffee, tissue boxes etc. Small thing only though - would absolutely stay again.
Big beds, short walk to Hollywood boulevard and really close to hop on hop off bus major routes. Free wifi a bonus, as with free coffee. Really cheap drinks at reception - buy your water for the day here. We arrived at 9.30am off a long haul flight and checked in at 11.30am (they let us in early) and this was awesome - service in the hotel was excellent. Quiet hotel too - surprising given the location!
The front rooms might be very loud, because the street is directly in front of the Hotel. You can hear the neighbors in the next room, while taking a shower eg. The Bathroom was okey, but you can see that it's some years old.
We were lucky, because we got a room in the back part of the Hotel.
