Plug didn't work in bath
No help with luggage to room. Smelly corridors. One light in ceiling in entire room with side lamps to support. Awful furniture. Access to rooms down an alley with elevator key card that repeatedly failed to work.
Nice big room, huge TV, good position
I have never had to pay to park my car in ANY hotel where I have stayed before, I would have thought that if you were a resident of any hotel, it would be free, I think an extra $20 per night is extortionate.
Big beds, short walk to Hollywood boulevard and really close to hop on hop off bus major routes. Free wifi a bonus, as with free coffee. Really cheap drinks at reception - buy your water for the day here. We arrived at 9.30am off a long haul flight and checked in at 11.30am (they let us in early) and this was awesome - service in the hotel was excellent. Quiet hotel too - surprising given the location!
Housekeeping was great with cleaning, not so much with re stocking supplies like coffee, tissue boxes etc. Small thing only though - would absolutely stay again.
We were lucky, because we got a room in the back part of the Hotel.
The front rooms might be very loud, because the street is directly in front of the Hotel. You can hear the neighbors in the next room, while taking a shower eg. The Bathroom was okey, but you can see that it's some years old.
Great location. Only 5 minute walk from Hollywood boulevard
Hotel constantly smelt like marijuana
Location was amazing. You're in walking distance to a lot of awesome places.
No pool. Staff was mediocre. It was very dirty.
I stayed at this hotel for three nights for our first wedding anniversary. We chose the hotel for its location, to which is 5 mins walk to the main Hollywood boulevard. The weather was great.
The rooms were very dirty when we checked in to the hotel, they needed a very good cleansing. The iron was broken, iron broad would not stand up as this was damaged. The towel rail in the bathroom had a screw hanging out (never been screwed in since the renovation) the coffee machine was also broken. I can not understand why the maid would not pick up on any of the above while cleaning the rooms or not in this case. The swimming pool was very dirty with a film of dirt on the top and looked like this had not been cleaned in a very long while. The noise during the night was unbelievable. During our last night We called the reception three times to try and quite the noise down. There was screaming, crying and arguing. The next morning I tried to speak to the manager of the hotel and they were not available. I confirmed to the receptionist that I would like compensation and expected my bill to be reduced due to the above issues and she confirmed she could not do anything as I had booked with booking.com. She confirmed the manager would email me!! We will see. In my opinion I would class this hotel as a hostel more then a hotel and I would not recommend this to any couples looking for a relaxing stay.
I loved everything! The bed was extremely comfortable, the room immaculate not a spec of dust, and everyone that worked there were extremely pleasant, including the cleaning staff. It's the perfect place to stay! Close to everything!! I'll be staying there when I head back next year :)
I loved everything!!
Location and the comfort of the bed was best part
The rooms looked like they could use a wall clean or a new paint job . Didn't really feel like a room worth 170 a night
Easy walking distance to most Hollywood attractions, friendly helpful staff
I can't sleeping because the noise from the others room was loud. Couple fighting, people arriving drunks and talking too loud. I called front desk for twice and the mess continuos. It was the worst experience that I had in hotel in my life.
Location is near to hollywood attractions and you can walk there in 15 m'. Self parking is convenient. Room is clean and nice. I booked the hotel months before travel so the price was OK considering the relative higher hotel cost in LA.
No food is served in house.
The online pictures look great
The room was dusty, old bed, dirty rug, you can tell it's a old motel that they tried to fix up.
The staff were helpful, and the location is excellent in relation to Hollywood. Beds were comfortable also!
Close to Hollywood
Design, atmosphere, and location are excellent.
Cleaning staff wasn't thorough in restocking coffee or towels.
There were appliances that were missing knobs. The window was missing blinds, making it not soo private.
Location and good sized room. Free glass of wine in happy hour a nice touch
Location was good. Parking was easy. Cheap rate.
Don't put hardwood floors and loose headboards in a hotel. The one married businessman (me) among the young couples will be subjected to loud banging all night, every night. Oh, and the wifi was a joke and so is the pool and the elevator and the fake bar that is barely staffed. Shower head was a strange dribble. I could go on but you get the idea.
Great location,good wifi,comfortable bed.
Extremely noisy, you will hear everything the guests and staff say and do at all hours of the night and day. Unprofessional front office staff who take personal phone calls while you wait and a sour bar tender who barely took her eyes off her phone . Linen and furniture is old stained and you might get towels with holes in them.
Liked that the hideous color scheme and awful euro-gay bar graphics design kept families and those with kids away from the hotel. Liked that it was quiet and other travelers kept to themselves. Reminded me of a really good dive bar, and I mean that as a genuine compliment.
Too many small stupid things were not working to ignore their lack of hospitality. Broken coffee machine, broken bathroom sink, TV poorly installed on the wall, etc. Dark rooms facing blank walls, etc. And the pool! Good lord, don't come here for the 'pool'.
Everything was awesome, highly recommended for the price
Clean rooms, comfy beds, big tv. 20$ parking
Noisy partying eastern Europeans. No water pressure. Stained front desk seats.
Room was roomy
No decent coffee facilities
