“ My family of 4 stayed at the hotel for 10 days. It is a modern and clean hotel. The rooms are quite large with all comfort. The room we stayed in had a kitchen and we were able to cook our own breakfast. ”

The room was well designed, very attractive, meticulously clean and phenomenally convenient. I needed a kitchen facility and the kitchen was great. We stay in the area often and this was a great new surprise. I think the hotel would benefit from adding magnifying mirrors to the bathroom but certainly not a big deal. Might want to make a deal with a local coffee company for the in stock coffee. The hotel is too cool and hip for the coffee they stocked.

Nice, large rooms. We easily fit 3 adults in a one bedroom suite. Exceptionally clean. Very modern and nicely decorated. Comfortable beds! Nice, affordable alternative to Manhattan hotels. Neighborhood seemed clean and safe. Parking was limited and we got a ticket one day when parking on the street. No daily maid service and they didn't replenish our supplies (like coffee) in the 3 days that we were there. Room was too bright at night- need better curtains.

My family of 3 adults shared a loft suite with kitchen. Staff is extremely helpful, room is big, very clean and with good beds/convertible sofa. Walking distance crossing the bridge with fantastic view on South Manhattan to either metro (one stop to Grand Central) or ferry to Manhattan. Parking just outside the hotel. We only used the taxi shuttle a couple of times back from the station after a long days sight-seeing ... but it's an excellent service. Although skylights gave plenty of light, we would have liked to be able to open a window to the outside - felt just a bit claustrophobic during 4 days ...

Such a cool wee hotel, each suite is huge, really well fitted out and in a really cool neighbourhood. It's near the subway (a 10 min walk across the bridge) and the hotel provide free shuttles in cool '50's checker cabs. All the staff are really friendly and go out of their way to help. The shuttles will take you anywhere nearby (pizza shop, Williamsburg, Brooklyn Bridge etc). We loved this place and will be back again. The windows need blinds as well as the curtains - it's a bit light in the morning.

The rooms are nice facilities were good. We booked a Loft apartment and only got a studio room. They were building and making so much noise that we were not informed about. They said that the noise was going to stop at 6pm but they worked until much later than that. I could not connect to the internet. It was a terrible, we had no view as promised and we were not close to a subway station...

The price. Gave us an upgrade, then reneged. They misplaced my credit card and license, then returned it to the wrong room. The paint fumes from the renovations made me ill.

Great hotel, very pleasent service all over the hotel. Very nice Loft rooms which a luxiury kitchen, nice bathroom and very much space. Also the hotel's own oldtimer taxis are great, that bring you to your subwastation or to a city nearby brooklyn. It was a wonderful stay there an also the area of brooklyn I'd like it very much. Many thanks for the stay we enjoy it a lot! No claims.

The hotel is friendly, clean and well furnished. The staff is helpful. The hotel has got shuttle car to the nearest subway stations. Generally this hotel is a good choice, because the interior is really nice and well designed, and it is not far from the center of Manhattan (20 minutes by subway). There is no any view from the rooms generality. From the room where we stayed only the roof windows could be opened. In the suites there is no separated bedrooms, and the second possibility to sleep is a sofa.

The area is up and coming but not there yet, so expect a run down industrial area. The hotel is recently renovated and done to a high standard. The staff are helpful and there is a free old style taxi run by the hotel that operates within a radius of a about one and half miles. The room we were originally given was not only facing the busy road over the bridge but was next door to reception which proved noisy at night. Without hesitation the room was changed.

Very artistic and clean hotel. Interesting decor and attention to detail. Cabs that were advertised were only available in the afternoons and evenings and there was only one driver when we were there. So, many times we had to wait for the driver to come back. The cab would only go a short distance from the hotel. If you didn't to call another cab, you had to wait until it arrived.

The hotel is clean and modern. The outside is still being developped, the sidewalk was being dug up when we stayed. The free taxi service doesnt start until lunch time, so realistically you can only use in the evening. Also there is no daily maid service, which we had not realised.

Friendly and very helpful staff. We loved riding round in their old American which they use as their shuttle service. There's no restaurant but they said they were opening shortly and it will just next door. So things will be perfect!

everything about the hotel was fabulous, really comfortable and spacious, helpful staff etc. Our daughter is coelaic so the kitchen area really worked well for us. We found a good health supermarket close by (The Garden) which had a variety of gluten free goods - she also made use of the gym which was small but well equipped. We particularily liked the 70's taxies who ferried us to the local restaurants , supermarket and fast ferry which took us to Wall Street. it was a little far out from Manhatten especially as the 7 train was not running over the weekend (it will be out of action for a year whilst they fix flood damage to the line)

The room was spacious & beautiful. The loft was well decorated & we enjoyed having our own mini kitchen in the room. The bed was very comfortable. Well.. I reserved the room for 3 nights & wasn't able to make it on the 1st. I called to explain & ask if we could check in late, even the following day. The staff promised that I could check in anytime. So we drive 4 hrs to the hotel & arrive Sat afternoon. It's bad enough that we pay for the 1st night (although I understand the agreement that was made) but when we arrive they tell us theyve "canceled our reservation". The woman at the desk was very rude about it & argued with me over the details. I had to show her my cell phone to prove that I called the hotel on Friday?? Luckily, she found us a room for the remaining 2 nights, & we payed for the previous night as well. Later that night we go out to a concert. When we return there is an extremely loud, possibly violent domestic disturbance in the room to our left. Although the hotel has a zero tolerance noise policy, several calls to the front desk did not effectively quiet our neighbors. Our romantic evening was ruined with the distruptive yelling, swearing, crying, & sounds of a physical altercation that did not end until nearly 3 am. We slept well but late & our plans for sightseeing Sunday were ruined. I loved the space & appreciate the staff's effort to fit us in after they cancelled our 3 day reservation.. But overall it was not the experience we were looking forward to. :(
