Location, Style, operation and most of all quality of food and general ambiance of restaurant. We stayed 7 nights and enjoyed every minute.
No so much didn't like but disappointed we did not meet our hostess during all this time.
owner and staff were very helpful and friendly. restaurant excellent. bedrooms very comfortable. dining rooms very attractive.
narrow, steep stairs in older building difficult for older member of group
Very homely New England inn with easy access to Cape Cod highlights.
Although clean & comfy room was very small. Restaurant food is cordon-bleu style, so after ordering lasagne from the bar snack menu my wife and I were not impressed to receive literally a one inch square of lasagne which cost us $12 each. I think we should have been made aware that's what we would receive because it was not a meal. Restaurant users come upstairs to the restroom which happened to be right next to our room, so a constant procession outside our room during the evening.
Everything! Great food, location and wonderful service!
The owners and staff made our stay very comfortable. Breakfast and dinners were excellent. This was our first B&B experience and we were pleasantly surprised.
Lovely room, delicious breakfast, staff could not be more gracious. Oh. And dinner and wine selections worth several return trips.
Breakfast was delicious Building has lots of character Flowers were lovely
Uncomfortable bed Loud a/c Street noise Building/guest noise Limited wifi
When we arrived at the Bramble Inn, we realized the pictures we viewed did not nearly do it justice. The historic building and grounds are quite striking. We were very pleased with the room we stayed in, which was very well appointed and quite comfortable. The fact that it's a bed-and-breakfast adds to the charm; every breakfast was a feast. The restaurant, which is just downstairs, offers a menu which is totally amazing and worth every cent. The Chef, Ruth Manchester, runs her kitchen like Emeril Lagassee; however, I think her food is much better. The Manchesters are inviting and personable. Do yourself a huge favor, vacation at The Bramble Inn.
I can't think of a thing that we didn't like.
nothing not long enough visit
I liked the intimacy and the upscale atmosphere. China and linen napkins at breakfast with homemade quiche ( 4 star chef), eggs benedict and fresh fruit. We had dinner at the restaurant which was fabulous...she is voted one of the best chefs in America. Try the seafood curry, it is great! For extra $20 you can get appetizer, salad, dessert and coffee with your meal. Go for it!
The location, the relaxed bar and the dining room
I would have like a common place to relax outside of my room.
Room size very small ; bath room tiny ; needs upgrading ;steep stairs; expensive for value; but restaurant very good.
The food was excellent, staff was great
Room was small
The inn was charming. The rooms and dining rooms were decorated beautifully.
Overall, the inn keepers need to focus more on service. We were not greeted when we arrived or asked if any assistance was needed. The inn only has 4 separate bedrooms so how can it be that after leaving for several hours our room was still not "cleaned" for the day? At the end of the 2 day stay our waste baskets were never emptied. Dinner overall was very good, however, I had to send my scallops back as the were undercooked and when they returned there was no flavor and I could not eat them.
Friendly staff. Old and very quaint building.
Room rather small. Restaurant - expensive for rather small portions.
This quaint, charming inn furnished with wonderful antiques was exactly what we were looking for. Owners Cliff and Ruth are delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. With a restaurant/full bar featuring gourmet delights by Master Chef Ruth, as well as a friendly staff that's eager to please, you can't go wrong. It's a pleasant walk from the inn to a bayside beach. The inn is centrally located on the Cape, which makes for easy day trips in any direction.
