I loved how close it was to many things. It's walking distance to the Gaslamp district where me and my bf walked to everyday. The rooms and hotel itself is a great place, definitely will be back!!
The room was much smaller than expected and there was no pool.
Loved the location of the hotel
Asked for quiet room, got a street room. stiff beds.
boutique hotel, walking distance to gas lamp. discount parking for hybrid.
Price a little bit high
Comfortable and clean
Parking is expensive
valet parking is 26$ per night, a little bit cheap
only 5 minutes to walk to historic gaslampdistrict and to embarcadero, seeport village
Tried to give us a different room than booked.
Didn't know I had to pay for car parking, wasn't mentioned on website.
Loved the location, everything was walking distance, Horton Plaza, restaurants, bars, clubs, bank...etc.
one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, the bathroom door was broken , no slippers, no mini bar , broken toilet, uncomfortable beds , disturbing sounds from the streets
I booked this hotel on booking.com but unfortunately by the time I got to the Bristol Hotel after work I discovered that they had given my room away and had "no more rooms available". They were still kind enough to pay for a room for me at the Sofia Hotel across the street which I appreciated. Still a major inconvenience for a traveler.
Very friendly and accommodating staff
Bathroom a little old and could do with remodelling. Even at the back of the building you can hear street traffic, but not a problem if you wear earplugs.
Really friendly staff. Discount drinks at bar. Comfortable and large bed.
The staff did not inform me that WiFi was not accessible when using Chrome. There is only valet parking available for $26.
Bed comfort and cleanliness.
The heater was making a loud sound. Woke us up every time it turned on.
Hotel was very nice, quiet, and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Short walk to restaurants and nightlife in the gaslamp.
Authorisation with creditcard and service to get that arranged was poor at best Bed is too soft
Location was perfect Room was clean and spacious
Great downtown location, close to great shopping and restaurants and everything at your fingertips. I would certainly recommend it
Expensive parking, but in line with other downtown San Diego hotels. Terrible smell in hallways. Had to switch rooms once because of the smell. No bathtub. Only a shower.
That it's $26.00 a day for parking.:'(
We where their with like 10 friends they gave us all the same floor so that was nice., yes like most young friends we wanted to keep drinking at the end of the night and if you keep the noise to a minimuM they don't mind they just ask you to keep it a little Down :)
I wish I could've stay longer...
Everything in walking distance,Clean room...
We like the Bristol across the street from San Diego Opera and stayed there many times-- Our thanks to the fabulous receptionist Marisole who went out of her way and made it possible for us to check in early so we could change into our "opera outfit" for matinee at 2 p.m. We will return!
We asked for two rooms with a connecting door, as we were 5 adults. The hotel tried to accomodate our request and it was really nice.
I liked the fact that 711 was around the corner as well as multiple stores.
No exhaust fan in the bathroom
The location and comfort was great
Need to upgrade pillows
The room was nice and clean
We found the bed less then comfortable: could have used a good night sleep.
We found the hotel location perfect for our needs. And the hotel was very nicely decorated. Love the Gerbera daisy.
Some staff weren't friendly. Had to pay for parking and additional taxes.
Great location, clean, modern!
