The location and price
Our stay was too short!
-Appreciated the cleanliness -The young lady at the front desk (the day I checked in) was very kind -They provide you with slippers and a robe -Great location...everything seemed walking distance. -About a 10minute walk to the gas lamp
-The ENTIRE weekend we had a problem with the keys! And it seemed that we were not the only ones. Our neighbors were standing outside of their room for a few minutes trying to open their door. I had the keys changed, and it was unfortunately after coming back at 2 AM. It happened again Saturday all day..took about 10-15 tries every single time! s
Location. Great staff. Very accommodating. Early check in.
The staff was very accommodating, professional and very friendly. The location in the Gaslamp district was very convenient.
The noise of the train horns staring early morning.
Everything was redone in a modern and beautiful manner. Comfortable beds.
They need to upgrade their t.v.'s
We had a great time. The location was fantastic for walking to most places downtown. When we checked in we were greeted by Ahmad. He is a gem. We felt welcomed every time we saw him and he always had an answer for our questions and a genuine smile.
Beds were a bit hard for me and my wife
The hotel is clean, stylish and comfortable!! Went with a group of friends to see a play at the Civic Theatre....as it turned out it was literally around the corner so the location for us was ideal! We walked to the gaslight district the next day and had a great breakfast at Café 222....then went shopping at Horton's Plaza....wonderful trip that we all agreed that we would definitely stay at this hotel again!!
Location. Decor. Staff. Especially Sarima? Zarima? At the front desk - went out of her way to solve a,problem for us. Gold star!! Oh, also 30 yards from the Airport Bus which comes every 15 minutes!!!
Wifi is fast and I love the soap there. It is close to the bus stop and trolley station and there are a lot of restaurants!
As two girls, we feel a little bit unsafe walking on the street during nights.

super-overpriced laundry service. Use the laundry place just down the street for a fraction of the price.
Because we only noticed one-bed rooms available, we asked for a change to one two queen-bed room at our arrival. This was made possible, at once, with a smile, by the lady at the front-desk. The very pleasant traditional family-like athmosphere of the place is reflected by the people, the furniture (grand-piano) + wooden panels decor in the lobby and the life-style that results from all this.
I loved the location, beds were comfy and quant!!!! Room service was excellent!!!!
No having the option to park your own car without having a charge!!!
Great Location downtown and helpful staff.
Great value! Well appointed lobby and rooms.
Location, wifi free, staff
Easy access to places.
Room was close to the maintenance room and it was really noisy making it hard to sleep.
It was a great location, we went to the wine & food festival and it was central to all the great places that we were visiting.
Nothing negative to say
We were delighted that the Bristol was within walking distance of every place we wanted to visit. The restaurant was excellent.
Minor things: no fan in the bathroom; no extra blanket; sliding door to bathroom
Exelent location walking disfence to every thing around town.the staff was wonderful friendly very accomodating .it was very clean.
Small TV. Very hard bed too small for couples .bathroom door outdated very hard to move no handles.valet parking is a hidden price lift for the stay.
I was in San Diego for a convention. The hotel was conveniently situated. Excellent room. Great staff. Top class room service. Would recommend and stay again...
Nice looking hotel in a great location. The bar downstairs was good. The staff was very nice.I liked the design of the hotel.
The pillows were terrible and the bed was too stiff. You can hear alot of street sounds due to bad insulation. That may bother some but I was ok. The walls are paper thin you can hear the staff cleaning.
- Staff - Bed - Room Service - Closeness to everything
- A little noisy on the lower floors
Great view from the room, lovely furnishings, a large shopping center with Jimbo's 10 minutes away, marina 20 minutes away... Highly recommended.
Sliding toilet doors would be a nice touch if they were not THAT heavy. I am a guy and I struggled with them sometimes - they may certainly be a challenge for a lady.
