Only complaint was there is no fan in the bathroom.

Everything! Our room was big, spacious and clean! Everything we could need was there! Our stay was simply perfect... The staff was really friendly and helpful! We had a problem with one of our luggage and the girl at the recepion helped us to find a solusion! I would reccomend this hotel to all kind of travellers!

Only one thing...we paied almost 30$ for the parking for one night stay! A little bit pricy!

From the first moment we walked in the door, the staff was warm, friendly, and extremely welcoming. The hotel and restaurant staff were all ready to help and make sure we were enjoying our stay. The room was beautiful (like the lobby and all other decorating aspects of the decor). The location was perfect - walking distance from the Gaslamp district.

$26 valet parking would be my only complaint.

I like taking long hot baths, but the water kept draining out. The stopper was not sealed.

I love this hotel! My husband and I have suggested this place to 3 people after we left. The location is amazing just a few steps and there is bars, places to eat starbucks, and malls. Everything you need is right there, and its not that far from the beach... Also every single place we have stayed at in San Diego had thin walls and it was almost impossible to sleep. This hotel is so quiet and the beds are sooo cozy!Also, the staff is so helpful and the customer service was amazing! We will be returning agin and agin and again! :)

I liked the location of the hotel in terms of proximity to the downtown area, attractions, and restaurants

I did not like that not a single review mentioned the train track running adjacent to the hotel. I should have guessed when I saw the earplugs on the night stand. This hotel is not on a par with other 4 star hotels; while the rooms were newly decorated and fresh, the linens and hotel menu items were very basic.

Nice room and great location for spending time downtown or on the harbor. Close to everything one might like; the zoo, Balboa Park, Gaslamp, Seaport Village, and the beaches.

The room was excellent, the position was perfect, close to the sightseeing bus station, to the sea village, to Metro. A lot of fantastic restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel bar is a good place for a last drink and for a good fast dinner.

I had to pay for parking and valet parking at that @ $26.00 per day. No one told me about this. No pool. I did not get the double beds that I requested. Also, for the money, it was not worth it. I could have stayed at Holiday Inn, Hilton or somewhere else for what I paid, but I did not get. I will not stay at the Bristol again.

It was in a great location. Front desk was very helpful and friendly.

The registration clerk was very helpful, attentive, prompt and courteous. I had made a mistake on the reservation date and she was able to accommodate me.

The room we were given smelled very badly like cigarrette smoke. I called right away to be moved to another room and was moved without any hesitation. That's great service! I appreciated it very much as I'm allergic to smoke and dust very badly.

The hotel was extremely clean and luxurious looking, which made me feel comfortable and relaxed.

I believe parking 26 dollars per night is absurb. The billing of the Bristol Hotel needs to be changed. Visitors are completely caught off guard with those expenses. I do not appreciate that.

Security staff can be overzealous at times but only trying to do their job I suppose.

This Hotel was located close to the Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego. Our suite was nicely decorated in black and white with red accents. The valet parking was a bonus with the half price charge per day for a Hybrid car. The shopping centre with Macy's and Norstrum only a block away. Walking to the Harbour was a easy 10 to 15 minute walk.

The large number of street people on Braodway Street.

I had three appearances at the courthouse a block-and-a-half away. The Bristol was geographically convenient. It also had free, fast wi-fi, and an excellent healthy grill that delivered room service. Very comfy bed - I had the best business stay I've had in a long time.

Expensive valet parking (had to find public parking several blocks away to optimise costs), the bathtub could be bigger. Also we had noise concerns during the first night (because our room was connected to the next one with a shared door), but this problem was solved first thing in the morning in the best possible way

Everything was smooth and uncomplicated. Everyone was nice and it was a very stylish place.

The only thing was the luggage carts had no upper bars, hooks or anything to make the top 1/2 useful. But that was it.

The location can't be beat! So handy to transportation options, walking distance from many major attractions! Excellent food and service.
