Easy parking, great access to Frenchman Street (walk down Royal), good sized quiet room, host has good advice about things to do in the city, great architecture in Marigny neighborhood.
Carl was so helpful with advice and tours. Room was big and comfortable and the location was fantastic.
Carl is a great host - very informative and willing to offer you suggestions about where to eat and spend time etc. Also the fact that he is willing to book your day trips and offer you his discount. I would most definitely return to stay again and would recommend it to any one.
It's close proximity to French Quarters, the complimentary breakfast....
The host was exceptionally cordial and my privacy was respected.
Carl was a great host, happy to help with trips and booking car rental. He provided a great breakfast :)

Beautiful home, great location, attentive service....hot tub! Also laundry available .
IT WAS A CLEAN, WELL LOCATED B & , WITH A KNOWLEDGABLE, FRIENDLY INNKEEPER...CARL!
All You (might) need is available. Good bed, breakfast, service and neighbourhood.
We had a very pleasant stay at the Burgundy. The owner Carl contacted us early to make sure we don't have any questions left. When we arrived we were welcomed warmly by Ricky who was a friend of Carl (Carl was out of town during the time we were at New Orleans). Ricky was the best host you could imagine. He provided us with a map and lot's of very good advices. He always cared about us and even send us text messages about upcomming events (e.g. a big St. Patricks Day parade), so that we were able to attend them. The room itself was very clean, comfortable and in a good and safe neigborhood. From there it was only a 10 minutes walk to the french quarter. The breakfast was also very good. Not at least thanks to the Burgundy B&B we had a very good time at New Orleans. When ever we come back to New Orleans we will again stay at the Burgundy. Thank you for the good time we had staying at the Burgundy, Robert and Kristina
Carl, the owner, was always so responsive to our requests. Not an easy task when it's five women! Our group looked forward to the morning shared breakfast and we loved waking up to hot coffee ready and waiting for us. Our conversations around the table were interesting and enlightening. Will return.
I have to really stretch to come up with a complaint. Perhaps fluffier towels?
Breakfast was uneventful, extra charges for bottled water, etc
no hot water reached the room due to plumbing issues breakfast poor cleanliness poor
We loved everything about Burgundy B & B. Carl was the perfect host. Great location. Delicious Breakfasts. Awesome experience. We'll be back...
Staff were very helpful.location, layout, and quality of rooms were exceptional
A very tranquil vibe...
Might have needed the bug man to come spray... Nothing serious
A wonderful place to stay. It's only a 10-15 minutes walk to the French Quater. We had to arrive kind of late at night, because we flew in and it was not a problem at all. We felt very welcome when we came (enforced by the owner surprising us with knowing German fluently - we're German). It's a cozy house, furnished and decorated with a lot of love, thought and many details. The rooms are perfectly clean and seemed pretty new. As there's just a few rooms and it's located in a nice calm street, it's perfect for forgetting the world around you and just enjoy your room, the house and New Orleans. If you need anything, just ask and you'll get it or you're getting told how and where to get it. We experienced a lot of support, advice and interest in what we were seeing in New Orleans (by the way a wonderful city). All in all we loved our stay there and would like to come back. (And if you like the pictures of the room you'll love the room when you see it.)
Getting to the house from the airport (especially at night) is pretty much only doable by taxi if you have a lot of luggage, the prize is not too bad though and we got a lot of advice on which possibilities we have and which are considered the best.
