Am a frequequent customer, its a short visit from my home, great escape. Its our favorite place to stay in West Yarmouth. On this trip the safe didn't work and the slider door would not lock - felt uncomfortable, had 1st floor room. The front desk staff wasn't their usual friendly self.

Every staff person we met was friendly, cordial and helpful! The only handicapped rooms were right off the parking lot so there was no privacy unless the heavy drapes were completely closed! A sheer undercurtain would be helpful!

Enjoyed the large salt water pool and hot tub. Great location, close to everything. Bar is only open on Friday and Saturdays, other than that everything was great.

price, easy location to Hyannis conference, the little breakfast nook and surprise free breakfast, sauna and whirlpool. The below par gym even for a hotel and the busy person at the desk who also had to pass out pool towels and the gym room key.

The reception we got upon arriving. Ray in the Sports Lounge We were never told that we would be spending the weekend with a large number of youth there for a basketball tournament. My boyfriend ended up with the flu the very first night we were there until we left. During the day we had to endure the endless banging of doors, kids running around everywhere with hardly any supervision and then, in the evening, when most people would be retiring for the night, again they were yelling, slamming doors and racing up and down the second floor hallways. There was not one hotel staffer who tried to stop this nonsense.

It was close to where we needed to be. The staff was very friendly. The room needed to be updated. Bed was old looking and not real comfortable. Rug was stained and vent in bathroom was dirty. However the bathroom itself was clean. To many party's going on and there were way to many kids.No space to relax by the pool.

The beds were comfortable and the sheets and pillows were ckean and fresh! The refrigerater didn't work. The tv was very dated, making for a poor reception.

Friendly and professional service, outstanding facility, great location. I had trouble controlling the temperature in my room. It seemed to be set for motion. No matter what I set the thermostat for, it would go no higher than 67 degrees.

The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean and everything works. This was off-season, but still the hotel provided their services very professionally. In my area of the hotel, the (free) internet signal was not strong enough to use this service. If this is important to you, make sure you ask for a room where there is a strong signal. I am sure if I asked for a different room so that I could use the internet connection, I would have been moved to another room (very easy to do off-season.

I stayed at The Cape Point many years ago and it was excellent. I chose to return because it has everything I need. The rooms are a good size for 2 individuals traveling together, the restaurant has very good food and reasonably priced entrees. The bathroom, specifically the tub, did not look clean, the pool area was questionable and the widows in the lounge, overlooking the pool, were dirty. Not a good feeling about the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Especially since it was immaculate the first time I went there, which was a couple of years after Cape Point opened.

It was convenient for us. We did not think that it rated 3 stars. There was no coffee pot in the room, and, no cups or glasses to even drink water out of. There were a lot of stains on the carpet in the room. The bed really squeaked (didn't seem to fit properly on its frame). The internet was very weak in our room, which made my husband unhappy since he had some downloading to do. The hotel did not seem to match its advertising and pictures, etc.

Honestly, everything! I travel a LOT and have found some really decent bargains, but always with compromises to aesthetics or amenities. Not here!!! The BEST hot tub I have ever enjoyed... jets IN the bench and everywhere so no matter where you sat you got bubbles! and then - the saline pool at a wonderful 85 degrees was refreshing, relaxing, soothing, and simply amazing. The bed was a perfect blend of firm and soft, with plenty of pillows and linens without burns or stains - I am ALWAYS afraid of getting bedspreads too close to my face and even many blankets. NOT here... I slept like an angel. I did not like the late check-in time and relatively early check-out time, though my personal schedule did not allow me to stay late enough to even get breakfast. It was such a pleasant place with lots of sitting areas, a koi pond, and 25 hour coffee cart that I will want to stay every possible moment next visit.

Location and breakfast. Staff serving breakfast were the best part of this hotel. Very tired looking, in need of serious upgrade. Room was outdated, hotel had few amenities. Staff seemed uninterested. We left a day early. Would not recommend.
