Fairly quiet room
Water was only warm in the evening.
Staff was very helpful and efficient at check-in and check-out. Rooms were clean and comfortable. This is the second time we have stayed here. Plenty of free parking.
Obe of the bathroom towels had been used by a previous guest to wipe their behinds fokded and placed back on the towel rack so it looked unused. Obviously the staff did not change all the towels
Toilet sounded like trapped birds when flushed. No hot water in tub.
I loved how close Capitola Beach was from us. Took us only 5 minutes to get to the beach! Reasonably priced with a hot breakfast included from 7-10 am. The staff were on top of it in terms of cleaning the room everyday! Friendly stsff!
The layout of the hotel was done similar to a complex of individual condos with only 8 units per building. Landscaping was exceptional.
It was further from downtown than anticipated but still within walking distance in 20-30 minutes. I was also disappointed that it didn't have a view of the ocean as it sits on top of a hill.
The location was off the main path of travelers to the beach and boardwalk yet not to far away. I enjoyed the privacy and not having another hotel right on top of you.
Dismal accommodations and the use of deodorizers was so overwhelming that we had to leave.
Manager very accommodating to a minor issue with billing. Breakfast was awesome with tables inside and out. Rooms clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff very friendly, parking plentiful. Location easy on/off of freeway...
There was nothing not to like for me here...
Along a freeway (mind you it's ivy covered) this yellow motel has it's positives being so close to where we pick up our kids at summer camp in Soquel.
The rooms are quite dingy and have not been updated in years. The checkered carpet looked filthy and the rooms are so basic. Linoleum bathtub. Popcorn celings etc. It is expensive because of location in a seaside town of Capitola.
Great, convenient to all areas. Nice little breakfast. All and all very good hotel.
Breakfast and it's area.
We had a very loud family of boys next door that were very disruptive at 10:00pm. I had to call the ffront desk about it. Fortunately, the hotel suggested that if we were interested we could move to another room. We left our luggage in our original room and then returned there in the morning. The staff was very helpful. Additionally, there is a great Sushi Restaurant with in walking distance.
Room was not ready at 3pm. Had to wait an hour or 4pm to check in. When we booked a room weeks b4 it was for a small dog and smoking. When we got there they said it was for neither. I was upset because we had our little dog. Can't tie him up outside or leave in car. They finally said they would put him down as a service dog. Please people who are traveling with a dog, check yourself on the room.
I would stay here again.
Excellent staff, location, and conveniences. Not your standard hotel. Classic car taxi to Spring... restaurent
Sean was the most helpful, patient and professional person that i have met in a long time. Nothing was too much trouble for him. You are very lucky to have an employee of such high standards. He really made our stay special.
The location of the inn was set back from the main road. The inn itself was a quiet and charming oasis. Our room was 'modest' but more that that.
There were only four smaller pillows on the bed. The hotel would only give us two large towels a day. Not enough.
I requested a first floor for my mother whose is disabled (walking difficulty due to a stroke), and they put her on the second floor - there's no elevator and the stairs are difficult because they lack a handrail on both sides.
Privacy and secluded feeling.
Rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Large variety to choose from.
No clock. Bedside light did not work. Sink was dirty.
Rate was good. Better than any hotel in the area. Like that there was breakfast available. Would stay again.
Decor in room was a bit dated but room was clean.
I guess close to the beach area, but not worth the $167 per nite .. room was so simiple .. comparing it to a Motel 6
Parking was far from the main lobby and room area, ac was coming off and on .. again, just didn't feel like it was worth $167 for the nite stay .. was expecting a nicer, up scale room for the nite. No views .. as close as it was to the beach area. They would not honor aaa discounts, even for a senior ??? Will not be coming back or recommending .. and yes, Mr. Patel, you need to invest in a NEW printer.
The place was quiet and clean, the price allowed us to extend our vacation. The staff was very kind and efficient.
